i have been trying since monday to get my order in with fi car audio sales and scott for a fully loaded btl 12 and after 5 days of anxious waiting he emails me back saying that it'll be 501 shipped out here to hawaii well that email made me happy.....mind you that was at about 630 am our time he says that he will call me later on on the after noon our time and get my information so i can pay... well ive been waiting by the phone all day and no call currently 900pm..... so far ive waited 5 days now to place my order and i am becoming irratated as their is a little comp coming up and i would like to enter with the btl... plus its a birthday present to myself......im just ve…

I have been thinking about a sundown 1500d but it will come to around 660 can shipped. Looking for something cheaper available in Canada. Unless this is the best option then I will continue to save for it.

i just got my bl yesterday, brokerage was 65$ :s. i was just wondering how do i know if my bl has the cooling option on it. i thought the magnet was supposed to have a hole through it when it had cooling, but mine does'nt. is this bad or am i just misinformed? thx-phil

Hey I'm just wondering when you guys swithced from one big magnet to 4 pie shapped magnet like on the new RE XXX's? Is thier any increase in power handling, and is thier anything internaly diff with them? Can they be ran with another new BTL that has the old style single magnet? Heres some pics not my sub I seen it on another forum. I remember some subs having pie shapped wedges between the basket and motor was that the cooling before and you switched to this or was that just a spacer for more excursion because some times i seen them on them and some times i dont.

well i just received my first Bl loaded 12" from FI. holy sh..........it! This new speaker blows my two previous Type R 12's away!!!!!!!! Much deeper lows and the highs are much more noticable. Due to money restraints, it is even on the same RF1000w/rms amp i previously had as well as it is even in a 1.25 cu.ft. Q-logic ported sub box!!! I can probably go with a bigger box and amp too huh? this is my plan so, if any one can help with ideas it would help out (new at this)......... I will be purchasing a second sub and I am having a sub box built to FI specs for the two to fit in Ford Focus trunk. Will also be buying (from somewhere) a Sundown 3000d to power both and …

So i have been reading on and on about different organizations and competitions and am tired, so I thought I would just ask and see if someone knows. Is there a category that I will be competing in with the following setup. This is in a cut through of a truck with a camper shell. 4 18" BTLs in a wall 2 amps, 1 for each set of BTLs other amps for mids and highs As I said, I am tired of reading. The few times I thought i figured out that i could compete in a certain event there was a little note saying a truck with a cuthrough was not allowed. are there any where a truck cut through is allowed?? I have an 89 Mercury Tracer, I have 7.7 cubic ft (internal volume) {39 in W, 23 in H, 18 in D} I would like the box to be tuned to about 32 HZ. I will be running about 3500 watts to the sub. any help would be appreciated, I do not know that much about tuning an enclosure.

Hi. im installing 2 SSDs to a Kicker Zx2500. Its a stock 120A alt in a Ford Fusion. I have a Kinetik Hc1400 that will be in the trunk. My first Question is will I need to have 2 runs(Power/ground) of 0 gauge from the stock battery to the Kinetik? Or can I just run 1 power between both batteries and ground the kinetik to the car? Also I have a Kicker zx650.4 for the doors and I would like to put Phoenix Gold RSD-6.5CS. MY stock speakers are 5.25s. Would this be too much work or should I just buy the RSDs in 5.25? Also can anyone refer me to a nice pair of 2 way speakers that I could put in the rear doors? I listen to mostly hip-hop/rock. Any input is great because I r…

Purchased an fi btl sub off craigslist. long story short, the previous guy who owned it did a VERY bad recone job and the tinsel leads that go into the spider were shot and the wire that goes into the cone is too short and when the sub excursions, it simply rips out of the tinsel. I'm going to order a new recone kit but i cant figure out if theres a difference with the btl/n2/n3 and which model this is.. I deleted the guys number because I was so pissed at him that he would sell me something fked up. if anyone can help me figure out what it is or if theres anyway to tell please let me know asap!

Well today I decided to finally pull the trigger on a 15" bl. Lately Ive hear that the SQ on this woofer has been better then people expected while still wangin I built a box last weekend and its been sitting in my car, and I just couldnt stand the though of an empty subwoofer box just sitting there. Few questions before I go ordering my 15 BL .5ohm with options. 1. Will ordering online yield prompt service or should I contact directly? 2. What is the current wait time. I want to know before I order. Not worried about the overall time but if it's a month after expected build time then that will be unacceptable. 3. Which shipping company do you guys use if not UPS?
