i need help deciding what 12 inch subs i should get. its beetween the fi audio ssd or the soundstream t6. ive had soundstream b4 and i really like it but ive also heard good things about fi audio. i like hard hitting bass. i got a 03 mustang and got about 6 cubic ft of space for a box so if u guys could help me put in deciding it b great. i got 2 hifonic 2000 watt amps a 1800 kinetik battery. my budget for subs is about 500 dollars total/ or if u guys can know of any better sub give me ideas thanks

Well, I planned on doing a 3cuft box ported to 33hz in my lincoln ls. As usual I have read a lot about the sub before purchasing it, and in several different locations it has said that i should use the flatwind coil option, however in different locations i have also read just the opposite, it said that i should use the "stock" copper coil for a ported enclosure... i figured i would be able to get the best advice here and the most accurate information. Also what about the cooling option? I have nothing against buying a decent amp, i would get a BL or something but the SSD is a great daily and i drive an hour to work and a hour home so i need a daily lol... If i need to f…

hi guys this is my first time in this site. im thinking of buying 2 12 ssd subs but dnt know how much max power they can handle. i already got a 2nd batt a kinetick 1800 and 2 hifonic 2000 brutus amps. should i connect them at a 2oh or 1 oh. power on da amps is 1300 at 2ohm and 2000 at 1ohm. or if there is a better sub i can get im on a budget of 450 for subs. thank u guys.

Yeah, this is last November's Black Fi-Day X 10" they had a sale on.. finally got around to putting some power to it as well as building my first box. In the video, I didn't want to push the sub to the limit to avoid blowing it, it seemed like it could take another click on the HU though. Obviously a video is what it is, but let me tell you that this sub sounded so good and flat, it was incredible.

I was just wondering if you shipping calculator is messed up on the Fi site as it wants to charge me $40.60 to ship 7 teeshirts to 15936? Thats seems like alot considering its not even 10lbs with the box. Now I ordered from them before and got 6 teeshirts and 2 hoodies and the shipping was like half the cost it wants this time. I have a UFO style 18" BTL in the trunk of my vic, and I want to order the 12" Fi sticker, but I need to know if the adhesive is on the front side of the sticker or the back, because I have dark tint and want to put it on the outside of the window so it shows up well. So is the adhesive on the sticker face or will I be able to place it on the outside of my car?

Hi, guys I just had a quick question. I am in the market for a used 15 in BTL. I was wondering what the differences of the UFO style magnet are vs the newer ones. Is the UFO style 2000w RMS like the current? Also does it still have 28mm of xmax. And can it handle a little bit of overpowering (2400w) like the new style can. Well I received my recone today and its the right model, but wrong impedance. I asked for a dual 1 and you shipped me a dual 2 Q 15. I posted on the forum as soon as I received my tracking # as it looked like the wrong ref. # because it said D2. I don't know what else I could have done to try to prevent this from happening. This is really rediculous that you guys can't get this right. Simple logistics starting from your ordering to your picking/shipping can't be done correctly. Hi, im about to order a fi btl in the next few weeks. Im deciding between a btl 15 and a btl 18. I have a hyundai elantra with a 220 amp alternator, 2 batteries and a soundstream rubicon 2500d. I listen to almost all rap and im looking for the loudest system i can build for the lows. I can only fit a 6.7 cube internal volume ported box which is 5 cubes net. I dont know which sub would be louder in this size box. But i really want the 18.

Saw a pic of a guy's sub on here and it looked like a TSNS basket i believe ? T3 and TC sounds use it, i thought the patents on this basket prevented people like you and all to use it. Would you sell these baskets seperate ?

The Fi BTL subs are amazing! I don't know if it is the new head-unit I have or the new amplifiers but WOW. It is amazing how tight the sound is compared to my old setup. My old equipment had a hard time keeping up with fast bass tone - changes and sounded a little mushy. I don't know if it is because I am running a higher ohm rating and therefore the subwoofers have a little more control, or if because I am pushing with 1 amplifier and pulling (180 switch) with the other, or if it is because my source unit is just THAT much better with the signal or what but - I am truly impressed with how good musically the subwoofers are. After applying ca glue and forming to basket, how long do you let it sit? How many clamps do you use to get best results? Any other procedures that you've used that yield really good results?

I am looking into putting two 10' BLs into a new Camaro. My question is this: Will a Memphis PR1.1000 or MC1.1100 be enough to get them off the ground adequately? I know it's not going to push their peak, but I was looking at using two 10' Memphis C3s instead of the BLs, but I'd rather have the BLs because I'm sure that they will outperform the Memphis subs. Any help or input would be great, thanks!

Ive spent a lot of time looking for an amp for the FI BL 15 that's on its way to my house. I don't want to spend much over $300 for an amp so do you guys know any good amps for about $300 or less? I was kinda looking at the Power Acoustik BAMF5500/1D but i really dont know how good of an amp it is.

Alright, I never thought i would have this much trouble dealing with you guys but to me 3 weeks is plenty enough time to receive a re-cone kit. Or at least for it to ship. Hello I ordered a Fi BL 15, 25 days ago and tomorrow makes it 15 days since I got the UPS Quantum View email. I was just wondering when I might expect to see my sub.

I have four BTL 15 N2s, all ordered and received a couple months ago. The web site claims a cutout diameter of 14.125 inches. Well good thing I measured before I cut, because that's too big for any of my subs. And what's more, the subs all differ from each other! One sub takes a cutout of 13.75, another a cutout of 14, and the final two a cutout of 13.825. (I verified these exactly by cutting different-sized holes in scrap wood with my router, then fitting the subs). All subs have the same outer diameter of 15.5 (again not like the website, which claims 15.625). I must say I'm kind of surprised the manufacturing tolerances in the basket can vary this much?
