how many hertz should i tune fi n3 12 subs box to the fs around 50 i was thinking around 46 hertz any suggestions cubit feet? oh and its going to be in a back seat of a toyota celica gt 90 not a hatchback so limited on space fi doest say frequency and the fi 's cubic recomendation seems low for the n3s?

Blew my Soundstream T4 15" and was wondering if Fi can recone this? i can get pics if necessary. and how much would that run me approximately?

800w @1ohm and the sub would be sealed, flatwind doesn't seem neccessary. also thinking about a Q10 ported because i've always had a thing for single ported 10's. going behind the seat of a reg cab Ram, would have around 1-1.25ft sealed, or up to 1.25 net ported.

What is the best amp i could get for the Fi Q at a 2ohm load for about 250 dollars?

I'm wondering how long does it take to get a refund for an order. I want the driver but I can't wait any longer for it. As I have out of town business to attend to. So how long. Has any one ever had to wait to get a refund from FI before? So far that is the only part of my build missing and I already missed a local show because my driver is late. Can someone shine some like here. Thanks

Hey all, I had to make a new username I guess because of the crash..anyways The dustcap on my Q is getting very warm. I am using my BXi-1500d, which probably does an actual 1000w @ 1ohm. I have the Dual 2 coils. The gain is set 1/2 way on the amp, the sub pre-out is @ +6, which basically uses the full voltage (2.2v). I don't think I can be overpowering the Q. And there is a funny smell, not sure if it's the VC glue or the VC melting itself. What should I do, because I don't think I am overpowering the Q with this amp. Here is a video BTW:

Posting for a friend..he's had his BTL for week....and we are both kinda curious how this happens and if there is any type of warrenty, figuring the VC is still 100% fine, the sub still plays and all. P.S. I can't seem to get a response from Scott....I still need a shim to align the gap and one screw to mount the basket to the motor (had to use an easy out on one of them).

I ordered my Fi sub about the beginning of this month, i was wondering when will i get my sub. then i get a call about my sub being delayed, man!.. missing my bass.... wondering how long Fi?

Hey guys, I was out at a local SPL 2x Show here and ran my Q 18's Off my JBL BP1200.1 in a 16.8CuFt box Tuned to 25Hz (Its made for LSQ not SPL My highest was a 143.7dB @ 36Hz !! Taking 1st in Street Max 1-2 NW And in bass Race I was competing in the semi finals and finished in 3rd with an average of 134.7 in the 139.9 runs It was awesome, i love these subs they are bottom end beasts... Next show in sept im gonna try an SPL box for em to see how they do tuned higher with more power.. I cooked my JBL on the Last run hehehhehe

Ok i just installed my system yesterday... Its not hitting at all. They guy at the shop said that it needs to break in a little bit before he adjusts it? I have a sundown sae 1200d and all 0 gauge wiring. Is it not hitting becuase its not adjusted right? I know that 1500 watts rms is ALOT of bass and should be LOUD, but its not hitting. So is it because the adjustment on the amp?

Might be getting a Chevy Avalanche at the end of the week... Planning a system for it since it will be my new daily ride. I know that I can fit 6 18s inside there, but the airspace is small. Would be around 2.8 sealed per sub, then I would polyfill the heck out of the inside of the box. That would get each sub seeing around 3.4 cubes roughly. They would be in a sideways clamshell, so that would help them load off each other. Think I could get away with this with any of the subs FI/AA makes? Maybe the SSD? Q? Chaos? Havoc?

Can I order some? Me and my friends want to rep for Fi and we need stickers for our cars..

Hey guys what would hit harder? 1 15 BTL - fully loaded. or two 15" BLs With everything except full cooling option?

Was thinking of inverting my BTL UFO 12" as the cutout diameter is the same size as the motor. Should I compensate box volume for this action? I may want to revert it normally in the future, but I have a show on the 17th that I will be attending and would like to show this beast motor off. Space is not an issue, as I am downsizing from my previous enclosure for my zcon. Is there an audible motor noise that comes with this? downsides?

Im trying to find an amp that will run with a dual 1 ohm Fi Q at maximum Power for under 300. If anyone could help me please reply and with a link. How can ther be a Fi dealer in Guadeloupe? They sell Team Fi subs, SP4's,...It's a French Caribbean island, near mine. We have a few people buyin Fi subs now. The installs are coming. I don't know the pricing yet, though.
