Here are a couple of pics of the N1 motor. Little odd looking compared to most designs, but form followed function. This is rather close to final version, except that material for top and bottom plates is a little thicker (for future profiling) and I wasn't paying enough attention when I wrote the code and wrapped the chamfer all the way around when it doesn't need to be where the spacers/end caps mate.

Scott, any updates on finding a proper fitting coil? let me know. Thanks, Matt

I am really thinking about purchasing a FI BL 15" by this winter. I currently only have a Lanzar Vibe 250 amp. It pushes 1000watts max. 2 ohm stable and 2 channel. I was wondering if it would be ok to power the driver with this amp. I am not looking to spend a lot of money on another amp, i am satisfied with what I have currently. I'd like a BL, because I hear nothing but good things about them, and sounds like something I would like to have. I love loud bass, and my current sub (Cerwin Vega Vmax) isn't doing the work for me. So good choice or not to get a BL? It would be in a 2000 Cavalier, and I would have someone build me a ported box for it.

After waiting a little over a month I was excited when the shipping guy called and said my sub showed up. Then he said it felt funny so he opened it before the FedEx guy left. He said it looks like its ok but I'll take pics of how it came. Here are those pics. I was very disappointed when I saw it. It's like someone through it in a box and hoped for the best. Well recently, I have just purchased a 12" CVX that came in a prefab Kicker enclosure. It was powered off a Kicker ZX 750.1(which seems to be the only decent Kicker purchase I made). I assume with the amp being underrated, and therefore overpowering the CVX caused it to blow. Well now, I'M GOING FI BEEZYS, sorry for the anticipation, but now anyway I would like to power my new setup with the same amp, the Kicker ZX750.1 and replace the sub with a NEW FI SSD 12". Temporarily I will, use the same box.... I know to some extent either the enclosure could make or break the sub hopefully, the prefab kicker box won't make the FI sound like shit. Opinions? Alright, right now im running two Alpine X 10" and i guess there pretty loud and have great sound quality for what iv heard, but iv never been able to find the actual SPL rating on them so i cant really compare them to anything else i want to buy. Basically, iv been thinking about buying new subs for a while now but im not too sure which ones to get. I still want SQ but i want to be a bit louder ^^. Im just looking for any input really, im quite new to this stuff and havent heard many other systems other than my friends 2 W7's. Any suggestions are welcome -Thanks Mike.

Hi i was wondering if anybody out there know what would be a better subwoofer, i own a t215d2 rockford fosgate paid 450 for it sound really good , i was tinking of getting another sub but i wasnt sure if to get another t215d2 since ive been told that they are overpriced this guy sugested me a fi bl 15 fully loaded price is 344 shipped, but im now sure do u guys think that the fi bl15 can keep up with my t2 if not please list some brand and models aout ther that could thanks :Touched by NDMstang65: Sorry if this looks choppy guys, but i merged all of his threads into this one. I just bought a brand new Konaki 12", I plan to recone it down to a 10" and run a pair daily off my kx2500.1, I would like to get a shipped quote to 26851 for a 10" DVC 2 ohm kit, I would also need a 10" basket and rubber gasket and FI dust cap, I know they are included but I would like to get one with the FI logo on it. I plan to run 1200 watts to each Konaki 10" once I get them reconed, I dont know what coils or kit Scott or FI would use but I need/want something that will take 1200 watts rms, and be good for a daily type install. I had 2 15" alpine type r's and now im looking to get 2 15" FI BLs but i only have enough room to do them sealed... i cant find that extra room that pored boxes need. so can i keep 2 of them sealed? and how would they compare to the alpines?

im kinda mad about my first run score for my loaded BTL 15 its runnen off about 1200 watts right now and my amp can max 1600 i have a stock ALT. (80 amps) now but my new 200 amp alt on the way! its 4.1 cubes with two 4"flared ports on the side tuned to 35hz FIRST with a 137.1 NOW tuned to 40 with a 139.2 MAX i have NO room for a bigger box! any suggestions? Porting? will the new alt. help tremendously or just very little?

Hello everyone, I have a 15'' BL fully loaded daily dual 2 ohm, better wires and better cooling. I followed the recommended specs for the box and tunned it to 31 hz, with the right amount of cubic feet, forgot how many cubic feet but i just remember the box is good, and ported obviously, i dunno how else you could tune the hertz on it if it were not ported... My wiring is good 4awg for the power and ground cable. The amp is good, got it new, works well, hifonics brutus 2000 watt amp, the gains on it are optimized to work great with the headunit, the other settings for frequency i dont rem the technical terms for them but i remember they are set so its between the low 29 …

I just receieved 3 out of 4 of my BTL N2 15s. First, I'd like to say they're super sexy! (even if they do look small next to my BTL 18s lol) I'm just wondering if there is a delay or if I can get at ETA on my fourth sub?

Alright so, I got t-boned a week ago and got 3300 from insurance, when the damages where 500$ worth but, to my question I have a 15 L7 and amp lying around from my old system, which was 2 solo's and 2 amps and I was wondering, is there anyway I could build a box to where I could have my solo and BTL 18" and they both benefit off each other without drowning each other out? I've seen the new Sundown amp (3500d) and I plan on buying it but I need to know one thing before I do. Can a btl fully loaded handle 3500+ rms for long periods of time without blowing??? Also will I get a 3db increase since thats almost double the btls rated power or not????

I just got done setting my gains with the DMM, my main issue and area of concern is the subwoofer and the Hifonics Bxi1606d amplifier. The component set is working and sounding fine and so is the Sundown SAX 100.2 amplifier. The Hifonics amplifier and subwoofer on the other hand are just being a pain in the ass to get sounding decent. To give you all the information I can on the subject we'll start here.
