would two 18 fully loaded BL's take the soundstream xxx-6500 amp? they are ported of course tuned to 35hz with two hifionics clossus one on each, they wang hard as hell. but just wondering if this amp would be too much? it is 4800 at 2 ohms and 6400 at 1 ohm but i have been told they were much stronger than rated but with voltage drop i should be around that range>>> should wang i think

Im looking to do a similar swap like Chris did from his TDXs to a "Q"....... I plan on using my eD 9.1 for power and I am having Woodlawn make me a small ported enclosure for my Silverado...... Musicly all i listen to is classic rock,70s,80s...old school disco and new wave (yea yea,im old) I love my TDX in my little hatchback but its very large in depth and hard to make fit the truck As for comps,im still searching but it looks like a set of DLS UP6s are in my future w 150x2 for power.... Being into SQ and liking it loud - is the Q the way to go,maybe one of FI's other offerings? thoughts

Right now I have cheap Duals from best buy, so this is why I call this my first "real" system. Originally I had no idea what I was looking for, just that I wanted good sound quality since its a daily driver and I wanted it LOUD. I ran across a few choices and like the AudioQ HDC3's, but I figured I'd go with the FI Q's instead as I've heard they get pretty loud while still sounding extremely good. Heard great things about FI as a company as well. I am driving a 00 4-door sunfire so fitting a very large box isn't really going to happen. I have enough trunk space to fit a larger box to fit two 12's (maybe), but the problem is getting it into the trunk. So my options are ei…

I've ordered a lot of equipment from many various companies and never experienced such concise, respectful, and businesslike as Fi gives.I made several mistakes when creating my online account and ordering and they fixed all they could, next business day... astounding! Can't wait on my sp4 to come in... if the same work ethic goes into the making of my product that goes into customer service, I expect I will be more than pleased.

Not in a rush Scott I know your busy but the prices shown at Fi aren't as exciting as the one I purchased before...lol I'd PM this but.... Do you know or remember the setup of the sub I purchased?(Meade's build) I'd like them the same but Dual 1's. I know the previous one was set up for Daily and thats it. I'm new to the BTL's and I'm hooked and wont use nothing else man. I want 2 of them.

I have alredy sent you both a copy of this e-mail, and Nick replied to me, and said just to print out a copy of this, and send it along. However since all the info got lost on the forum, I cannot do that. If you guys could please give me a confirmation I could send along with my money order it would be great. Hey Scott, (or whoever it may be) I have been eyeing your site, as well as others for reviews and your Fi forum, and think I am ready to buy. I want to buy 1 dual 2 15" SSD w/ flatwind, for a total of $229, the only problem is I do not have a credit card, and would have to pay via snail mail (aka money order). Is this possible, and if it is, who do I make the M/O ou…

Ok before anyone says it yes i used the search and other forums. I just cant find some of the answers to my questions. Here is everything im workin with. I am tomarrow buying a 00 Nissan Pathfinder, i have all of the cargo area to play with {which is not under 30 cubic ft} just need room for the amp and room for it to have ventilation. My equipment is as follows 1 Kicker zx 1500.1, Kicker 2 way active x-over, 1/0 every where, big three, Audio control overdrive line driver, Kinetic HC 800, and as for a head unit my friend sold my truck for me and i told him not to sell it with the h/u well guess what im in the market for a new h/u nothin more than 300. Need some help, I have an 09 Silverado ext cab truck, and currently I have 2 type r 10's and a PA BAMF 2000/1 amp, the box is tiny, fits under the back seat and down fires (sealed .6cuft each sub) . My buddy with the exact same truck, just put in the same box with JL 10w3's and a JL Slash 500/1 amp. His system KILLS mine!! My type r's sound terrible. I thought it was the small box but a local shop told me it was most likely the crappy amp that I have. So, I have decided to throw my current set up in the trash and do it right this time. My question, should I go with the SSD 10's or wait for the new Q's? The amp I will use to power them will be a Sundown SAE-1200D (unless …

Okay, so here's the dilemma I'm having: whether to go with multiple smaller subs, or a couple bigger subs. Now, I've looked this up, but nobody seems to get it. Yeah, if you power one single, massive woofer with enough juice, it'll outperform 2 subs with lower wattage, but what I'm trying to figure out is: say you have 1 or 2 18" woofers, and lets say 4 or 6 12" woofers, with equal total wattage going to either set of woofers, which one is going to be louder? Also, I've heard the bigger woofers will hit lower hertz louder, at lower volume levels than smaller woofers. But, will quantity compensate the larger size of the bigger woofers lower response?

What exactly does that mean? Does it mean that the item has shipped or does it just mean that a tracking number has been assigned?
