Was tired driving home from finals, and about an hour or so away from home....swerved to avoid something that ran across the road (deer?), and rolled the focus at least 3-4 times. The winshield shattered and caved in, front half of the roof crunched, windows shattered, amps and batts were thrown from the trunk, and i guess scattered a good 20-30 feet from the car. I probably wouldnt be writing this if i had not had the wall built in the car, acted like a wooden roll cage....you'll see what I mean when/if i post pics. hi i need to know how much wattage max that a fi audio q with the bp power up grade

Hello i took my btl 18 out of the box today just to change wire size and when i looked at the spider it had like4 small cracks on it what could cause this??? i use to own a bl 15 and the spider got cracked too. i was wonderig if this is a manufacture fault cause the spider is so stiff?? i added some goop it glue to each crack just to keep if from getting all messed up..

Still have heard nothing other than what's in that thread. Someone get back to me, this is getting a little rediculous

What exactly does that mean? Does it mean that the item has shipped or does it just mean that a tracking number has been assigned?

Hey guys, just want to think you for sending the tinsel lead. My Question is how much is it for a recone kit for my XXX 15. Just want to know the price's. I went on a trip today and one of my subs stopped working. I noticed that one of the coils was no longer working. The coils were series so I just ran the one sub and eventually one of its coils stopped working also. I tested the coils with an ohm meter and each sub has a coil that reads open. Am I right that something like this is not covered under warranty? I am not really sure why the coil opened up since I was probably giving the subs no more than 1500 watts between the two. I also have a voltage meter in my car and noticed that my voltages stayed around 14 volts when the first one blew while on the highway. These subs are dual 1 ohm coils and I am powering them…

In my search for some subs I've been pointed to this forum. I'm looking to replace a set of 12'' Type-R's. The Type-R's were a decent SPL sub but I'm looking more for SQ. I'm hoping to achieve the SQ and SPL same as, or close to a W7. I listen to 50/50 rap/rock. As of now my plan is...... 2 12" Q Series 2ohm Box & Amp: 2 Alpine MRD-M1005's (each 1000x1 at 2ohm) Sealed rectangular Box 1.3 cuft per sub 1999 4 door Tahoe. behind the second row, subs facing downwards Also... I have no idea what the BP does. Whats recommended RMS with that option. Thanks for the help Alex

alright so I have a fiberglass sub box that is shaped very weird .. its cut out for a 10 was thinking about an fi q .. I currently have a kicker cvr in there that is just not cutting it, will I feel the bass better with a q or will it not be as loud?

Driving home from work today minding my own business, turning onto another road. Went to give it some gas....hmmm car not moving, look down at gauges ok well everything is at zero....hmmmkay. Stereo still running, ac fan still running. Ahhh tried to start the car while moving but it didn't start......Stop the car, looked around puzzled, looked back in my mirror I see a little smoke, look at the hood oh there is more smoke. getting ready to place an order for my Fi Q series 15's but not sure what amp to use. I havw a Jl1000/1 i'm useing currantley. I know that this this is not going to be enough to power the two subs,but will a fosgate t-2000 be enough or should i look for something bigger? Need to figure out what amp to go with befor i can order my speakers.

I've ordered a lot of equipment from many various companies and never experienced such concise, respectful, and businesslike as Fi gives.I made several mistakes when creating my online account and ordering and they fixed all they could, next business day... astounding! Can't wait on my sp4 to come in... if the same work ethic goes into the making of my product that goes into customer service, I expect I will be more than pleased.

I was wondering if anyone has managed to put one or 2 15" FI audio subs in an extended cab ranger. I have a 95 that I would like to upgrade. I currently have 2 Jensen competition series 12's in a deathbox II and its just not enough for me. I have seen 15" subs in rangers before, but I would worry about fitting a big enough box so they sound nice, and FI subs seem to need slightly larger boxes than some other 15s BTW, If anyone is selling USED amps or subs that are in good shape, I would love to know!

I like loud and yes the 4 Q15's Sealed in LOUD!!!!, but I think I may change up so I don't have such a huge box in the back. When I was running only 2 Q15's ported in my magnum, my boy was running the single 18" BTL ported in his Impala and we were hitting identical #'s. He was pushing the BTL with a Power Acoustic 2000 and I was pushing the 2 Q's with a US Amps MD2. We both metered 152.7 legal on an AC mic. Once I stepped up to a 4 pack of Q15's and an IA 40.1 @.5ohms, I got about a 5 db increase and alot of air movement, which makes for nice hair videos..... Hey guys, I am getting 2 Fi Q 12"s and need to build a box for them. I want to get the most output out of the subs as I can with still having decent sound quality. Ive never built a ported sub box before and would really appreciate some help as I cant seem to find any for 2 12" subs. Thanks, Luke

Just got my recone for my RE SX, got it fully loaded with drilled compression plug. This is my first time dealing with the compression plug, so I just want to make sure I apply it correctly. It goes on the inside of the coil gap between the coil and underneath the dustcap right? It probably won't be able to stay in place, so would I need to glue it down?

So I ordered a Dual 1 ohm Fi SSD on July 10th, but I actually need a Dual 2 ohm - Is it possible to change the order at this late date? Is there anything I can do? Really wish Fi had a phone number so I could contact them immediately! Feels like I just threw $300 down the drain, I can't believe it! Please help!

I recently purchased my two new Q 18's, and they arrived about a week ago. The UPS guy dropped the boxes and he bolted to the truck. I went outside to bring them in when I noticed a box was severely torn, retaped, and then ripped again. I know this was UPS, since my previous experiences with Fi, as well as the other box, have always yielded nice packing. The subs seemed fine, but I also ordered a T-shirt and banner for my car. The banner fell out of the hole in the box, I am guessing, and the shirt had a hole in it. So I've decided to get a sundown SAE-1000D to go with a 12" Fi Q and I have one question before I go ahead and order them. For the sundown amp, do I want to order the Q with the dual 1 or dual 2 ohm option? And would I need the BP power option as well? Thanks Ryan

Hit-up (2) shows this weekend and finally got myBTL 18 metered. Qualified with a 147.4 and hit a 147.7 in the finals. The sub is pushed by a Colossus II in my 99 Explorer Sport. Eletrical is stock for now. Qualifying round...didn't get the pic of the 147.7during the Finals (I have the certificate though ) Getting ready... 170DBs...
