These are my measurements now... 15hx33dx36w I was wondering if it is possible to fit the 18" Bl tuned to around 32hz in my trunk. and what would be the best setup, sub firing into cabin, port back?? Need ideas for the enclosure. I am going to run it on a saz-1500d. I did at one time have a L7 in a 6.0^3 box. It fit just fine. any help is apreciated! i put the new measurements up, i went out there and measure it out, width between strut towers. height was at the trunk tensioners and depth was just depth... keep in mind i have the trunk lid hinges to clear......

Just looking at the ssd's and noticed the option. my guess is increased power handling but i could be way off.

I was wondering if anyone has managed to put one or 2 15" FI audio subs in an extended cab ranger. I have a 95 that I would like to upgrade. I currently have 2 Jensen competition series 12's in a deathbox II and its just not enough for me. I have seen 15" subs in rangers before, but I would worry about fitting a big enough box so they sound nice, and FI subs seem to need slightly larger boxes than some other 15s BTW, If anyone is selling USED amps or subs that are in good shape, I would love to know!

Hit-up (2) shows this weekend and finally got myBTL 18 metered. Qualified with a 147.4 and hit a 147.7 in the finals. The sub is pushed by a Colossus II in my 99 Explorer Sport. Eletrical is stock for now. Qualifying round...didn't get the pic of the 147.7during the Finals (I have the certificate though ) Getting ready... 170DBs...

getting ready to place an order for my Fi Q series 15's but not sure what amp to use. I havw a Jl1000/1 i'm useing currantley. I know that this this is not going to be enough to power the two subs,but will a fosgate t-2000 be enough or should i look for something bigger? Need to figure out what amp to go with befor i can order my speakers.

So this last weekend I came home for spring break. I have a 15" Q and my brother has a 12" q. Saturday night my sub quit playing and I was a little drunk so I didnt worry about it. On sunday we built a new box for my brothers new truck(he unhooked in perfect condition 3 weeks ago) and by the time we installed it we realized the top magnet was cracked all the way around and shifted about a 1/8 inch, so the coil was grinding and sounded awful. We ghetto fixed his by beating the magnet back into place with a rubber mallet and siliconing it in place, now it sounds fine. The next day I went to diagnose my problem. I was talkin to a box builder last night...He gave me some good advice. My main goal is a LSQ system...He said go with a FI Q 18...i was like have you heard one...he said yeah...in a sealed box. He said it would sound better than the same woofer in a ported. This is what he relayed to me from an installer friend of his. I was like ok... He said go 18 inch Q sealed 4 cu ft.....i was like how bout 7 cu. ft ported tuned to 30 hz... I was thinking would it make a BIG NOTICABLE differance on an 18 inch Q...in those box dimensions...its an 18inch sub...thats pretty big... or should i go with the 15...?(for LSQ)

So I ordered a Dual 1 ohm Fi SSD on July 10th, but I actually need a Dual 2 ohm - Is it possible to change the order at this late date? Is there anything I can do? Really wish Fi had a phone number so I could contact them immediately! Feels like I just threw $300 down the drain, I can't believe it! Please help!

i got a BL 18 with dual 1s and might be getting a sundown sax-1200D so do you think running it at .35 ohms is safe?

Okay well I broke my sub (Fi BTL 15) in for about a week so I turned my amp up (Power Acoustik BAMF 4000/1D). It claims 2200 rms. When I turn the bass up high enough the sub will start making popping noises, I'm pretty sure my amp isn't going to bottom out a BTL so I figure my amps just giving a clipped signal. I checked my wires going to the amp none of them seem to be pinched anywhere. I'm running 8 gauge that I had to cram into the terminals on the sub. Do you think that is where my problem is that maybe the speaker wire is falling out of the terminals or messed up? I would look but taking my box out is quite the pain I don't wanna do it if I don't have too. My only ot…

i ordered a btl about a month ago and its status has been awaiting fullfillment this whole thime.
