How can i chk to see whats going on with my sub or if its shipped yet I ordered my sub on the 9th of august should be shipping soon The link i was issued stopped working today

ok we hooked my friends BTL to a saz-3000 today and as we where playing different songs we heard it popping. is that because its too many watts for the sub?or is it just how its tuned. allso its at 1ohm what do you people recomend to leave it at 1ohm or up to 2ohms???

Im looking into buying 2 15''s from Fi, the BL or the BTL. The only problem is since BTL is regarded somewhat as a SPL sub, Im curious if sound quality is lost in the process. So my real question is, do the BTLs have decent sound quality (in a well built box of course) and also how do the BL's sound?

I currently have a 12" L7 kicker DVC 4ohm With a 3.75^ 3.0cubic feet at 35hz enclosure. Im loooking into getting a subwoofe that has good sound quality that can possibly get loud and sound clean. The amp ihave is a kicker mono amp 08 ZX 750.1. It is 2ohm stable. Accoriding to its birth sheet if i can remember correctly, it was putting out 823 rms watts I was looking into the 12" JL audio W6 v2. BUT I was looking at the 12" Fi Q So i was leaning towards it... My car is daily driven and im not sure about the options for the Fi Q sub. I am a noob to this car audio stuff and dont really know what is what. i have a fosgate t8002 amp right now but i plan on upgrading somewhere down the line...i want to run a one sub setup....i really want a 18 but am i underpowering it for now up until i upgrade my wattage?....will a 15 sound better and louder since im not pumpin that much power into it?....also...what do i buy a dual 1 sub or dual 2 sub...also what series is best for me....the q or bl or ssd.....it is going in a 85 cutlass...i listen mostly to rap...thanks

Since HawaiianBassHead prompted me in my last post and I'm running a true 900 to 1000WRMS to each sub with less than .70cuft per sub in a my sealed box .....I added this bracing. Went to my first SQ comp today and took home 1st place (IASCA) Running 2 Fi Q's Bass score was 16 out of 20 possible points. Would have been better score but the judge said I could have used a bit more power on the subs. (ran them set to Eric Holdaway's ears and some judges like more or less here or there) Way to go Scott da man, judge looked over the install after the SQ judging during my presentation and smiled when he saw Fi subs, said he was happy Scott was going strong (exactly his words). Damn Scott everyone knows you! I will admit I scored 26 points behind 2nd place for SQ due to front stage/imaging issues but stomped ass in install by 48 points. I will get …

How much room do I need to have between bottom of box to the floor of truck? I am building a downfiring sealed box (may go ported with 10's) for crewcab chevy. I have just right at 3.0 ft^3 airspace after displacement which is exactly what is called for for the 12" Fi Q (x2) if I have the legs on the box at 1.75". I just needed to know how much room to clear sub. Thanks in Advance!

After helping my father with my dying stepmother(cancer), she pasted away on July 9th, and I have been helping my dad with everything. But now I have time to spend helping Fi and Ascendant again. I'm sorry I was gone without a trace, but I was going threw the family thing. Im am back woriking for Fi and Ascendant on a part time basis, while going back to school. As soon as my Magnum SRT-8 demo vehicle is done, I will be going to dealers in the southern states. So just wanted to say "Hi" and "I'm back"!

First show with the BL18's finally playing in the wall, didnt do dbdrag, but managed a 148.3 for bass race....I was pretty happy considering we still havent done any testing on it Lots of work to do yet, the baffle (5 layers thick) was still flexing like a mofo, so we def. need some bracing. Still have to tune the wall as well, woofers getting a little warm and smelly :-) Love the subs, def seeing a 150+ bass race in the near future!! I'll try and post pics soon...

Today I met a guy (goes buy oldschool on termpro) who does like 155.9 with two twelves in db drag. Well personally I wouldnt want to compete with him *street b* so i was looking at doing a street a setup but i have heard that the 10" btl's are not musical that they are just for burps only. So a few questions: 1> How musical are they??? 2> How much power can they handle??? (looking @ 2000 watts right now) 3>Would doing one 12, or 3 8" be better???

How can I tell the difference between a regular sp4 and one that is fully loaded?

does any body know which Fi sub series are almost the same in pawer as the kove armageddon i am planing to use fi's because it is hard to find the kove armageddon that are new.

Just looking at the ssd's and noticed the option. my guess is increased power handling but i could be way off.

i metered my new 12" Q last week and hit 139.6 on the dash. its powered by a orion xtr pro1000. I coulda turned it up more but i just wanted to see what it would do. somehow i got 1st place..maybe cuz there were only 3 other people in my class. one of these days im goin to see what it hits in the port cuz it pushes alot of air for just a 12. but yea its a beast and i havnt had any trouble at all with it.
