Hi I know that fi only works on recones once a week but I sent my sub in 3 weeks ago and still no news. Just curious as to how long a recone takes on average. Thanks!

I just want to thank Fi car audio for all the help they have given me. For those that dont know the story here it is.... At WF 06, I needed my atomics reconed and didnt have the materials to do it, so Scott and the guys said that they would no problem. I dropped off my sub at their room/workshop. can i have this two subs in my trunk?/ each one on its own box, and both boxes tuned at 35 hz i was told that two different subs have what its called wave cancellation and that they wont sound good even though they are both great subs, please help help.

I have been reading plenty of posts and articles of sound quality, yet many people have different opinions on what a sound quality setup is. I have 3 Rockford Fosgate p2s sealed however, it is not loud enough. I am going to buy either a 15" Fi Q fully loaded or 15" Fi BL fully loaded. Both would be ported and in their proper enclosures with about 1200-1300 rms power running to them in a 2007 hyundai elantra gls.(I have enough trunk space) I have equipped my entire car with dynamat because I like to feel my bass more than others. Alright, for the last year and a half iv been planning on getting the 10" SSD till recently i found a steal of a deal on craigslist for a 12"Q for 100 bucks duel 1.75 ohm coils Currently i have it in a ported box with 600W RMS running to it at 4 (3.5)ohms. My question is if i run it with both positives and negatives together insted of series and it turns into 1 (.87)Ohms will it be too much being alittle under 1 ohm load? if not then what would be a good amp to push it at 1 ohm 1000 RMS? My plan in the end is to get a sealed encloser with 1000 RMS @ 1 ohm since i like sealed better and getting a 1000RMS 4 ohm amp is expensive as hell.. thanks for helping an taking th…

Ok so I placed a order for a Bl 15 on May 28th. I have emailed everyone i can email with no response from anyone!! I was going to try something new for Scrapin the Coast this year and represent Fi Audio but it looks as if I will not be doing so because I havent recieved my sub. I decided to change my set-up. I want to build a forth order bandpass for my two FI SSD 12"s. I think they are the 2008 model. I am putting in my 1995 Impala SS. I plan on porting it through the back deck. Can anyone help me with the numbers I need. Such as the air space volume for the sealed and ported areas. Also for the port (@ 35 hz). I wanted the box to be tuned to 35 hz. I'm trying to get the MOST out of these subs but with All the sound pushed into the cab and not rattling everything aound in my trunk By the way I will be powering them with a Audiopipe AP18001. Got my Fi Q 12s from fed-ex today & would like to thank you guys for the Carbon fiber dust cap on my subs that was super cool of you guys to do for me. The wait time is something I hear a lot of people talk about but on my order I found it to be accurate (15 days) & not bad at all. Hello all, I've always been a fan of Fi since it came out just from reading the forums and when I first started wanting a system. That was about 3 years ago now I think. I would like to put together a system now but I'm shipping off to college so money is tight at this point in my life. I'm sure this is QUITE impossible but I'de like to not spend more than $500 on either 1-15 or 2-12s including the Amp. I don't have a deck either right now but hopefully can figure that into the budget sometime. Thank you for any suggestions or insight. -Rob

I went from 4 alpine type R 12"s in a sealed box with a Hifonics 2008d Now i have a 15" FI BL with a sundown SAZ-1500d in a ported box tuned to 32hz and it kicks alpines ass, no question. From 4 subs to 1 now its louder, clearer, and has more low end. VERY VERY VERY satisfied!!! thanks! My rear view mirror wont stop slappin, and my doors are all flexing not to mention the roof, quarter panels, and hatch.
