ok so how loud could a 12" BL get with daily music? in let say about 2.5cuft and 1500 watts???

just wanted to let yall know how our lil car audio club did at a local comp this night. we almost swept up the competition but we wound up taking 2nd, 3rd, and 4th we were all in portwars/outlaw (weird classes) second place was my buddy murk with a single RE MX 12 on an orion 2500D stock alt and bat. with 160.8 third was my buddy robert with a singl 15 BTL fully loaded on an orion 2500D stock alt and yellow top 159.9 fourth was me with a sinlg 18 BTL fully loaded with an orion XTR pro 2400 200 amp alt and 2 yellow tops 159.2 (we all played 43 hz tone) first place was some guy with a wall of 4 L7 12's with a 162.* another guy i knew won the legal truck class, with a sing…

The competition at Indianapolis for DBDrag on February 26th had 5 competitors in the Street B class. Including myself, we all had trunk cars. I wasn't planning on running DBDrag (only bassrace) at first cause I found out I'd have to disconnect my rear two batteries for the Street B class. Well then I started watching the qualifying runs and saw three 137s, and one guy with a 140.1. I knew my N2s on my AQ 3500.1 would hit near the 142 range, so I ran to Ace Hardware, bought some bolts, and disconnected my rear batteries. Ok I have a friend gettin two alpine mrp2000 amps each pushin about 2248wrms at 2 ohms and hes running that to two alpine Type X 12s.. Now me being me I just wanna 'keep up and surpass' him and Im gettin 2 BTL 12s with a Sundown 3500D but I dont have either yet.. Will my car still be louder? p.s. I plan to have 2.5^3 for each sub and tuned to about 35hz

ok im fixing to order in a few days so i was going to get some opinions on what i have come up with what im looking at... i have been kind of stuck between the btl and bl....but i've finally decided on the bl i will be going with two 12"" on the options im going with dual 1, cooling,flatwind,daily, as far as the universal i dont plan on needing to change the impedence..... going to giving them around 2500rms in a 6 cu ft enclosure before sub and port displacement @35hz how does this sound....

So, i put a temp amp in with my BTL. I put a hifonics 1610 in and OMFG. No words can explain how happy i am with this sub woofer. I just cant imagine what it will is going to sound like with my t 30001bd on it, it is going to be just NASTY. I am going to hook up a t10001bd up to it tomorrow to hear what it sound likes with REAL clean power not Rockford poop. Just letting you guys know i am a verry satisfied customer.

Hi I know that fi only works on recones once a week but I sent my sub in 3 weeks ago and still no news. Just curious as to how long a recone takes on average. Thanks!

I am seriously considering ordering 2 12" BL's but when I click on the BL link on the page, nothing appears. Is anybody else getting this? Also I know this has been discussed before but I am still debating between 2 Fi BL's or 2 AA Havocs. Im going to be running them off the Sundown 1500d. Do you think its enough power and which would you guys perfer ? I am looking for something with good SQ and also that deep HARD hitting lower bass. Any response would be great. Ok, I need some help. I've decided to get an 18" Fi BTL for my expedition. I have no idea what to power it with.....Sundown? Kicker? what?.... I'm kinda indecisive on the amp because I know its recommended for around 1500rms , but we all know they can handle more. And I want more Safely, do you think I should go with some 3000 watt amp - such as the Saz-300d ? Also, with a 150amp alternator, can I get by with two yellow top batteries? Or should I get a 240amp alternator? And if I do get the upgraded alternator, will I still need a battery in the rear?

Does anyone have any news on the HT range from blueprint. There just doesn't seem to be any information or updates anywhere. Perhaps Nick can shed some light on this.

Not in a rush Scott I know your busy but the prices shown at Fi aren't as exciting as the one I purchased before...lol I'd PM this but.... Do you know or remember the setup of the sub I purchased?(Meade's build) I'd like them the same but Dual 1's. I know the previous one was set up for Daily and thats it. I'm new to the BTL's and I'm hooked and wont use nothing else man. I want 2 of them.

Was thinking, and wondering if Fi has contemplated making some ear buds? I know myself, and many others i'm sure would be all over them. I have no doubt they would sell like hotcakes. I would love to see some high quality buds in the future. With awesome drivers, and a better cord then {others} with maybe a "Fi" logo built in anyways, those are my thoughts.

I was hoping to get this resolved in a different manner. I sent my FI Q 12 in for repair at the beginning of June. Mr Shawn said he would fix it because it was under warranty. I emailed him in the beginning, and he said they were going to ship it back soon. Then I started getting no email responses. Long story short, it has been 5 months since I sent it in. This is a bit ridiculous. I paid good money for a good product. I JUST WANT MY PROPERTY BACK.

Got the box built today for the 2 BTL 18s, went over to a friends house it is 12 cubes @34hz with 150sq in port, Hifonics XX Goliath @ .7 ohms It Beats:D ... hard ran into a problem, one of the wires came undone and i couldnt figure out what happened, we didnt think anything was wrong at first, it was still crazy loud,but got everything fixed now box weighs a ton, top baffle is 3 layers thick, and the sub is flush mounted in some pics during the box build and some bad night shots the tools and speakers along for the ride Final Turnout: Since i fixed it, i havnt even went on it yet, only to about avg listening volume, got a good bit to go tomorrow :up2somet: neighbors…

I've been considering buying a Fi sub(s) for my '02 Ford Explorer, but I can't decide whether or not I should get a single Q12, Q15, BL12, BL15, or a pair of SSD12s. I like listening to artists such as Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Armin van Buuren, and some rock. I'm leaning towards a more SQ system that can get LOUD! Hey guys Sorry if this topic is in the wrong section. I just have a quick question. I am ordering a fully loaded BTL 1 Ohm for daily use with some SPL shows. I was thinking of running this bad boy off a HiFonics BXi 2610 Class D mono Block. It says it runs 1 ohm: 2600 watts x 1 chan. I have a HiFonics amp right now and I like it.....but I think its overrated as far as its RMS is, so my question is will this amp in question be OK for the BTL is it too much power for it even if it a little less than 2600 RMS? Should I consider a totally different amp? Thanks a lot guys

ok i ordered two 12" black "Fi"day x series woofers. should i put them in a ported or sealed box? i can locate the recommended volume. if ported would be better what should i tune the box to. also what should i set my crossover frequency at. i will not use bass boost at all in fact my bass on my headunit will be -2 and 0 on my amp. depending on what i tune my box to i will set my subsonic filter 2hz less than that. i just want the most output possible from the woofers without risking damaging them
