can i have this two subs in my trunk?/ each one on its own box, and both boxes tuned at 35 hz i was told that two different subs have what its called wave cancellation and that they wont sound good even though they are both great subs, please help help.

Alright, for the last year and a half iv been planning on getting the 10" SSD till recently i found a steal of a deal on craigslist for a 12"Q for 100 bucks duel 1.75 ohm coils Currently i have it in a ported box with 600W RMS running to it at 4 (3.5)ohms. My question is if i run it with both positives and negatives together insted of series and it turns into 1 (.87)Ohms will it be too much being alittle under 1 ohm load? if not then what would be a good amp to push it at 1 ohm 1000 RMS? My plan in the end is to get a sealed encloser with 1000 RMS @ 1 ohm since i like sealed better and getting a 1000RMS 4 ohm amp is expensive as hell.. thanks for helping an taking th…

Sorry to say that there will be email and "some" order delays from today through Monday 10-16 due to several of the Fi staff attending the 3 dB Drag world finals shows through the US. We will have 2 people on staff running some production but the balance of the shop will be "closed" through then. We will resume normal production and emails on Tuesday and get things back up to speed and make sure that all orders are filled ASAP. This past weekend I attended DBDrag World Finals at Dayton Ohio (I only live 45 minutes away) and competed in the 3x event. The event was ran great from the judges and ran smooth from start to finish. I was very happy to see fellow Fi competitors. One was Dr. Boom. For those of you that don't know him, he has 6 15" BTLs walled in a Scion xB off of 6 Sundows 3500s. His install was by far the cleanest there, and his car was a show stopper for sure. I got a demo from him, unfortunately my esophagus started to close up so it got hard to breathe, but boy did those BTLs sound great!! Got my Fi Q 12s from fed-ex today & would like to thank you guys for the Carbon fiber dust cap on my subs that was super cool of you guys to do for me. The wait time is something I hear a lot of people talk about but on my order I found it to be accurate (15 days) & not bad at all. Installed the new 12 Q in my 350z Custom enclosure at 2.2 ft minus teh driver = 2.05 Tuned to 32 Hz Pushing 1000 watts to it Sounds pure and clean! Awesome job FI!!!

I plan on doing a 4th order build for 2 SSD 10's and was wondering if I should go with the high QTS option? I plan to have them in a 3^ft @47hz(50^in port),1^ft sealed BP box,sound good?

Hey, my first post on the board! I like it so far and I expect to be posting a lot more on this forum. I'm very new to car audio, I just got my first set up about 2 months ago. I hahve 2 12 Ultra Linear Subs and 1 1000 XA Eclipse amp, yeah nothing great ( All for sale) My new set up I wanna go with a 15 BTL. I was wondering If I could get some advice from some of you with what I will need to get this sub to reach full potential Amp,Battery? Capacitator? etc.. Thanks guys, and great forum!

my amp has been really hot every time ive played my system..Ive had it for 2 days now. Is there a reason why this is happening, its hurts to touch if you keep your hand on it for more then 3 or 4 seconds. Only on the outsides. The amp is a zx1000 kicker. My sub is also get hot along with the amp, but not as fast and not near as hot. Is this normal..This is one of my first systems

I decided to change my set-up. I want to build a forth order bandpass for my two FI SSD 12"s. I think they are the 2008 model. I am putting in my 1995 Impala SS. I plan on porting it through the back deck. Can anyone help me with the numbers I need. Such as the air space volume for the sealed and ported areas. Also for the port (@ 35 hz). I wanted the box to be tuned to 35 hz. I'm trying to get the MOST out of these subs but with All the sound pushed into the cab and not rattling everything aound in my trunk By the way I will be powering them with a Audiopipe AP18001. I'm currently in the market for some new subs. As of right now I am running 4 Kicker L7 10's Power is from 2 Kicker KX1200.1's strapped making around 2.8k Box is 6ft^3 sealed. Ideally what I would like to do is drop down to a pair of 12's or an awsome single 15" I'm looking for a great LSQ driver, I want to be able to pound out the bass, but still be able to enjoy the sublties of the music. Well first off I'd like to thank FI for their amazing service up to this point (only been a customer for a few weeks and haven't used your product yet but amazing at answering customer questions and FAST!). I have asked a few times on her about updates of the BTL backorder but what I as a customer would like to see is a thread posted with daily or even weekly updates of different backorder or any other subwoofer issues. Maybe this is a dumb suggestion and you don't have time please don't bash me just wanted to through some input out there for you guys. Would love to know an update as of 8/10. what size box should i build for two 18's the BL's with 1600 rms each going to them. i want to do i square port and subs facing up. dose anyone have any box plans i could use or ideas. it is in the back without rear seats so i have room can go up to 48 wide. thanks for any help

I bought my 15" BTL around winter of 2008 And dont exactly remember what options i ordered on it. Im getting ready to order another BTL either today or tomorrow so that it will arive around the time i finish my box an i wanted this BTL to match the one i have. I do know it is * Dual 2 ohm * Daily * Not universal I Do not know if it Has * P chamfer * Cooling * High XM coil * I Heat Ring Could Someone Tell me where to look for to see if mine have these?
