I plan on doing a 4th order build for 2 SSD 10's and was wondering if I should go with the high QTS option? I plan to have them in a 3^ft @47hz(50^in port),1^ft sealed BP box,sound good?

buying btl 18 fully loaded wondering if to go old school with rf 4000bd or get a sundown 3500 , buying powerful amp because wil be adding secound 18 in future.

I bought my 15" BTL around winter of 2008 And dont exactly remember what options i ordered on it. Im getting ready to order another BTL either today or tomorrow so that it will arive around the time i finish my box an i wanted this BTL to match the one i have. I do know it is * Dual 2 ohm * Daily * Not universal I Do not know if it Has * P chamfer * Cooling * High XM coil * I Heat Ring Could Someone Tell me where to look for to see if mine have these? does anyone know the rms of a 12" ssd with bp and fw, d1 ? would it be able to handle a hifonics 1608d amp?

This past weekend I attended DBDrag World Finals at Dayton Ohio (I only live 45 minutes away) and competed in the 3x event. The event was ran great from the judges and ran smooth from start to finish. I was very happy to see fellow Fi competitors. One was Dr. Boom. For those of you that don't know him, he has 6 15" BTLs walled in a Scion xB off of 6 Sundows 3500s. His install was by far the cleanest there, and his car was a show stopper for sure. I got a demo from him, unfortunately my esophagus started to close up so it got hard to breathe, but boy did those BTLs sound great!! ok i ordered two 12" black "Fi"day x series woofers. should i put them in a ported or sealed box? i can locate the recommended volume. if ported would be better what should i tune the box to. also what should i set my crossover frequency at. i will not use bass boost at all in fact my bass on my headunit will be -2 and 0 on my amp. depending on what i tune my box to i will set my subsonic filter 2hz less than that. i just want the most output possible from the woofers without risking damaging them

I know this is WAY out the question, but I would love to see some of Scott's prototypes. I bet their has been some cool looking stuff that just didn't make it to production. Maybe we can get a little peak of some? I could totally understand if its not possible. But maybe some older stuff that doesn't really matter anymore.

I ordered a recone and found that i didnt have the money for shipping to the facility, I need to cancel my order for my recone kit and get a refund. I have full intentions to recone the subwoofer, just not right now.

I'm thinking of getting one Q12 and powering it with a Kicker ZX1000.1 at 2ohms. I listen to mostly rap music and I'm looking for a sub that will give me accurate bass and can also give me great high and low bass. I hear the Q is great on low bass but I was wondering how is it at high bass? I know that getting a set of 10's would probably give me better high bass, but I'm looking for something that will give me a good mix of both.

The competition at Indianapolis for DBDrag on February 26th had 5 competitors in the Street B class. Including myself, we all had trunk cars. I wasn't planning on running DBDrag (only bassrace) at first cause I found out I'd have to disconnect my rear two batteries for the Street B class. Well then I started watching the qualifying runs and saw three 137s, and one guy with a 140.1. I knew my N2s on my AQ 3500.1 would hit near the 142 range, so I ran to Ace Hardware, bought some bolts, and disconnected my rear batteries. I have an older XXX that needs a recone. I sent an email a week or so ago to get paying details for a recone, but I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. It's a 12 inch, and my zip is 33155. But I also have no idea how to ship it without it getting damaged, was wondering if I can just pay to have you ship a box + the wooden crate or however you guys pack it, since I have no idea how to pack this thing myself.
