hi everyone. I would like to make a purchase for BTL 18" 4000 Watt X 2. So i want your advice which is the most suitable amplifier and mono amplifier to support it. Need help..

Installed the new 12 Q in my 350z Custom enclosure at 2.2 ft minus teh driver = 2.05 Tuned to 32 Hz Pushing 1000 watts to it Sounds pure and clean! Awesome job FI!!!

I plan on doing a 4th order build for 2 SSD 10's and was wondering if I should go with the high QTS option? I plan to have them in a 3^ft @47hz(50^in port),1^ft sealed BP box,sound good?

I just wanted to say that I am amazed by your subs. I haven't cranked it up in a while, but I did yesterday, and was bewildered again. I was at Circuit city yesterday, and all of the guys who work there showed me their equipment. Kicker, MTX. A customer had a JL W712 on an alpine 1000. They sounded ok, but my bros bl 12 just kills the JL spl wise, as well as another guys 2 kicker comp 12s. The lows the the BL are just nasty- sounding strong and authoritative. I have 2 18" BTLs w/ 2 memphis 4ks, and I noticed on strong hits I'll hold 12v at the front, but at the amps I was droppping in the 8-9v range. I have 3 batts (2 yellowtops and a starter) and 1 run of 1/0. Well Circ…

I decided to change my set-up. I want to build a forth order bandpass for my two FI SSD 12"s. I think they are the 2008 model. I am putting in my 1995 Impala SS. I plan on porting it through the back deck. Can anyone help me with the numbers I need. Such as the air space volume for the sealed and ported areas. Also for the port (@ 35 hz). I wanted the box to be tuned to 35 hz. I'm trying to get the MOST out of these subs but with All the sound pushed into the cab and not rattling everything aound in my trunk By the way I will be powering them with a Audiopipe AP18001. So I got there to find out my alternator is dying, and won't keep more than 13.9v at idle. It was a great first show, I did bass race and truck/suv 1501+. I got 149.9 in bass race and took first place. I got 2nd place in truck/suv to todd hardwick (but he has a wall in his truck made just for spl, I have a daily setup. First run was 150.6@44hz, but I thought I peaked a little lower. Next run I tried lower- and got a 150.8@ 35hz. My alternator wouldn't allow for more than the initial burp, so I know redoing my electrical system will do a lot. Well first off I'd like to thank FI for their amazing service up to this point (only been a customer for a few weeks and haven't used your product yet but amazing at answering customer questions and FAST!). I have asked a few times on her about updates of the BTL backorder but what I as a customer would like to see is a thread posted with daily or even weekly updates of different backorder or any other subwoofer issues. Maybe this is a dumb suggestion and you don't have time please don't bash me just wanted to through some input out there for you guys. Would love to know an update as of 8/10. I bought my 15" BTL around winter of 2008 And dont exactly remember what options i ordered on it. Im getting ready to order another BTL either today or tomorrow so that it will arive around the time i finish my box an i wanted this BTL to match the one i have. I do know it is * Dual 2 ohm * Daily * Not universal I Do not know if it Has * P chamfer * Cooling * High XM coil * I Heat Ring Could Someone Tell me where to look for to see if mine have these? So I've been doing a lot of reading and looking around and now I'm kind of geared towards one or two Fi Q 12"s. If I go with two I was looking at the Audioque 2200D, but I haven't really looked for an amp if I only go with one, so I'm kind of set on two but I'm worried about it being too loud. What kind of electrical upgrades would I have to do for two of them? Now I was thinking of building my box, I'm debating between ported or sealed, haven't really decided which one I want to go with yet. My max trunk space is 36" wide, 15" high. I can go kind of deep, can't remember the exact measurement right now but how deep would I have to go for a box with that width and height?…

good set up? im not ready for a ho alt or second battery

so my fi bl 18 is on the way along with my 2400watt amp,,,my cars alt only puts out 105 amps so ill be needing a 2nd battery...i dont wanna do the big 3 tom uch money so how can i hook up a battery??? -can i put the 2nd battery in my trunk??? -if so am i supposed to hook it up to the alt or do i just once in awhile recharge it??? -wtf?

does anyone know the rms of a 12" ssd with bp and fw, d1 ? would it be able to handle a hifonics 1608d amp?

The reason why i ask is i currently have 4 RE SE 15" running off of a T40001bd,, they sound great but im only hitting a 148.3 with them so since i want to brake into the 150's I want to get a second T40001bd and some stronger subs,, thing is i like the way these SE's sound so Im trying to get something strong but that can sound atleast as nice as these SE's..
