What I have now: 2006 toyota corrolla Cadence TXA1000D (1000rms @ 1 ohm) I have about 6.5ft^3 airspace before driver and port displacement I want one ported sub ( a 15" or prefferably an 18" if I have enough airspace after port and driver displacement) I'm undecided whether to go with SSD, Q, or BL with my airspace and power. This will be for a daily driver with an occasional trip to local competitions for fun, so a little on the SPL side. Any help would be greatly appreciated Beau

Hey, I'm not really sure where to post this comment so I figured this would be the best spot since it's pertaining to my fi gear. I am considering going to my first comp, trying to find somewhere within 4hours of Myrtle Beach SC and I think the closest place is roanoke rapids next month. I am not sure which class I will be in trying to find out before I go. I will be competing with my daily driven yukon, boxes come above the window line (where in a newer yukon they would not ) I have 2 18" btls, 3 batteries (might get a few more, depends on class) and 2 4kw amps. i will be entering my first bass race comp on may 20th. a friend of a friend was talking crap about my system, saying its nothing compared to his. so, i found a local termpro sanctioned comp and challenged him lol. i have a fully loaded 15" BTL powered by a ma audio hk4000d, 4 cubes ported box tuned to 34hz, 2 yellow tops, HO alternator, big 3. from what im told he's got 2 JL 12W6v2's powered by some crossfire amp(s) in a ported box, with no electrical upgrades. i have an 05 explorer and he has a newer jeep grand cherokee. it might be a close match up, but i have a feeling that i will take the win, at least from him. i will post my number(s) and also the results. im open …

I have a Memphis 16-mc2000d mojo amp. I also have a FI BTL loaded This sub is dual 2 ohm. I wired it in series so the amp sees 4 ohms. I have it in a 7.5 cube box tuned to 40HZ However when I really get this thing kicking it sounds like it cannot handle the power. Any suggestions, I know this sub can take all that this amp can give it???

I have money to order a Sub finally. I always seen videos of people fi btls breaking every part of their car. My friend has a JL audio w7 2x 12". Im looking to go bigger and better. Although upon purchasing a FI BTL , there are so many types and ' add-ons +$'. I dont know what to get I want 1x Fi Btl 15" in a 2002 Ford Taurus SES. Anyhelp? What amp? Anything?

Ok So I ordered my SSD 3 weeks ago through Paypal with my credit card and my bank account was deducted the second I finished the transaction.... but, Paypal is still "carrying out the payment" How long does this usually take and if this is normal then Paypal is a pretty shitty company imo because there's really no reason it should take them that long to make this happen!! I have the choice of buying a Hifonics 1210 at a discounted price, a Kicker 1500.1, or my personal fave the Audioque 1200D. The kicker isn't 1 ohm stable and I have a dual 2 ohm Q coming in. The hifonics isn't reliable at one ohm from what i've seen/researched Audioque, I heard nothing but great reviews for. Thanks guys

Ive been in contact with FI and they barely respond to me. I shipped my sub to them 2 months ago and i have confirmation that it was received and signed for by them from UPS. They said they never received it and were questioning me if i sent it. the address is correct btw. They lost my package and have not contacted me back about it after emailing them.... IF....i get my subwoofer back fixed, i wont be doing business with them again....ssa only for now on. Thought id share this with everyone incase this has happened before, or maybe an FI employee might see this and email me.....

Where can i buy two btl 15 motors and how much would they cost

hey everyone. I currently have a 1 15" BL, but im getting a new car in a bit, so im looking at getting 2 12" ssd. I had a debate between SSD or the HDC. I know a big!! difference but im running them off a aq1200d that i have now so i figured i wont be upgrading power in a while. And if i got a aq2200d do you think i would be safe with the 2 12" ssds still ? Im guessing the ssd would move more than hdc with only 600 rms on each? Do you think the 2 12" ssd will be louder than the 15 BL because of cone area? thnx guys, sorry if they are stupid questions lol

Pretty much decided on Fi for my next sub. Going for a single 12 in the trunk of a saab. The amp I have is an Elemental Designs Nine.1 with 1200 rms @ 1ohm or 900 rms @ 2ohm. Question is whether I should go with a BL and push the limits or underpower a BTL? I listen to mostly rap btw. Thanks for any insight!

Props to FI,as i said we are getting ready for a 3x dbdrag in Pa. so i slapped a box together to give me a starting point,lol,,and i didnt expect much out of it because we hadent tuned the encloser in yet as to my suprise it burped a 148.3 in the zx3...enough said i couldnt ask for a better starting point...i think if i can stabalize my voltage and build a few more boxes i should be able to run into the 50s.

I;m trying to buy an 18ssd and put it in my acura. The only way to really do so is to use tube ports instead of slotted to decrease the volume of the box. I dont really know how to do it. i went to this site called klaus audio and it designed one for me. I however don't know if it is legit. Hey guys, I made a post about a problem with my fully loaded bl. Its just not as loud as it once was and Im still having problems but ive ruled out about everything and rewired everything. Now im thinking its my amp that is the problem. Is there a way to tell if your amp isn't working properly? I can't figure out how to tell i took off the faceplate and didnt see anything and it still turns on just fine. My only concern is i backed into a truck and so my trunk is slightly bent up a little bit making the seal not very affective causing my amp to get frost on it when i put my back seat up at night. Is there any way to really be able to tell if my amp is having a problem? Im…

I placed my order with him a little over 2 weeks ago(supposedly straight through him on what he told me was his personal cell phone number) anyways i've been calling him just about everyday since because I wanted to change the color of the logo on the dustcaps but I am unable to get a hold of him. Also he hasnt even taken the money out of my bank account for the order yet.
