Ok So I ordered my SSD 3 weeks ago through Paypal with my credit card and my bank account was deducted the second I finished the transaction.... but, Paypal is still "carrying out the payment" How long does this usually take and if this is normal then Paypal is a pretty shitty company imo because there's really no reason it should take them that long to make this happen!! I mean damn, 3 weeks. Anyways sorry, Im not complaining to you guys. I know FI has nothing to do with this order as of yet. But I just wanted to know if this is a normal thing. Hello. I have only recently entered the world of Fi. Before the BL came out, when I was first looking around, there was another line of subwoofers. Are these still available thru Fi or not? If so, what are the specs on them? I did not think to record them before the X disapeared from the site. Thanks for the help! Ben

Hey guys before i get completely torn a new one the dimensions of this sub arent clearly listed on the website. I am working with very marginal clearance and i was hoping someone could help me out her. first off im looking to do 2 SSD10s under the back seat of my truck so space is tight to say the least. Does anyone have a picture of these or could help me with dimensions? Things that i know, the mounting depth is 6 inches. the only pictures that i saw had the mounting depth closer to 7 inches. When did they redesign this sub? secondly i know at the widest point the magnet is 7.5 inches in diameter. Can someone please help me with the dimensions of the magnet. The a…

im doing an install in a 2000 expedition im going to use a MM1400D and a MM100.4, the budget is kinda tight since he wants to spend $1000 for everything. it's going to be for everyday use only and never see a mic. should i run 4 kicker cvr 10's or one 12" Q ported? and why?

I have a Memphis 16-mc2000d mojo amp. I also have a FI BTL loaded This sub is dual 2 ohm. I wired it in series so the amp sees 4 ohms. I have it in a 7.5 cube box tuned to 40HZ However when I really get this thing kicking it sounds like it cannot handle the power. Any suggestions, I know this sub can take all that this amp can give it???

car is a 02 cadillac deville, 1 15 d1 btl on strapped saz1500ds, subsonic all the way down to like 15, gain at a little lower than half. box is a chambered t line built by rich which i think is in the neighborhood if 30-36 hz tuning. i have a EQ with 8v preouts, HU is a max675vd. i think i need some guidance to set amps before i order a recone or try to replace the lead itself. volume on the hu 27 out 33... but the volume on the EQ is almost all the way up.

I can't get a stright answer. I am tried of getting different stories every time regarding replacing my RE subs. I was told by David, formerly at RE audio, that in June all productions of US assembled products stopped and that the factory shut down. All, Re audio products are now made in China and even sub assembly of SX and MT in the USA has stopped. I have been tiring to see what is going on with my subs. One day, I talk to someone, the next day they are gone and some else says they will help, now a girl that has no ideas what is up, is making things worse. I have had my BTL for less than 1 year and it is now dead. I had it powered by a zx2500.1and it is in a properly sized and tuned box.. NO bass boost, subsonic on, gain 1/2 way up. The spider is ripped a little bit but I can not see any other damage. IT does smell funny. I am a responsible user and did not abuse the sub whatsoever. I have been installing and using car audio for years,. Does Fi have some kind of warranty, Can I send it back for a recone? I would appreciate any input. THanks

i have 2 fi bl 12's running on a crescendo audio 3k and the fi's are getting real warm...not hot.....just real warm....and i was wondering if this was normal?? also would a crescendo 3k be over powering them?.... im hitting around 140 db. and it sounds great in a 5 cft box tuned at 32 hz...its just getting warm and it worries me...

I;m trying to buy an 18ssd and put it in my acura. The only way to really do so is to use tube ports instead of slotted to decrease the volume of the box. I dont really know how to do it. i went to this site called klaus audio and it designed one for me. I however don't know if it is legit. What I have now: 2006 toyota corrolla Cadence TXA1000D (1000rms @ 1 ohm) I have about 6.5ft^3 airspace before driver and port displacement I want one ported sub ( a 15" or prefferably an 18" if I have enough airspace after port and driver displacement) I'm undecided whether to go with SSD, Q, or BL with my airspace and power. This will be for a daily driver with an occasional trip to local competitions for fun, so a little on the SPL side. Any help would be greatly appreciated Beau

Hey guys, I made a post about a problem with my fully loaded bl. Its just not as loud as it once was and Im still having problems but ive ruled out about everything and rewired everything. Now im thinking its my amp that is the problem. Is there a way to tell if your amp isn't working properly? I can't figure out how to tell i took off the faceplate and didnt see anything and it still turns on just fine. My only concern is i backed into a truck and so my trunk is slightly bent up a little bit making the seal not very affective causing my amp to get frost on it when i put my back seat up at night. Is there any way to really be able to tell if my amp is having a problem? Im…

anybody got any ideas for sealing up the space around my box going into the trunk

I just ordered a 15" BL with cooling, flatwind, and unversal. Along with a recone kit for a 12" RE SX sub that I will sell after I recone it. So that 15" BL will be powered by a RF T10001BD whenever I get the amp back from RF, warranty work... That BL will go in my Scion tC, hopefully I will manage to build a 3.5cuft box and do an external tube port, and port that to 30hz. The reason why I want to do tube port is so that I can change it and tune it higher for competitions. I'm just hoping that that box can fit since the Scion tC trunks are kinda small. The box that I did have in there for the RE was 2.5cuft already. With the new box I will remove the spare tire and…
