i will be entering my first bass race comp on may 20th. a friend of a friend was talking crap about my system, saying its nothing compared to his. so, i found a local termpro sanctioned comp and challenged him lol. i have a fully loaded 15" BTL powered by a ma audio hk4000d, 4 cubes ported box tuned to 34hz, 2 yellow tops, HO alternator, big 3. from what im told he's got 2 JL 12W6v2's powered by some crossfire amp(s) in a ported box, with no electrical upgrades. i have an 05 explorer and he has a newer jeep grand cherokee. it might be a close match up, but i have a feeling that i will take the win, at least from him. i will post my number(s) and also the results. im open …

Just wanted to let anyone who is on the fence about Fi and another brand, go with Fi. I got my two 15inch SSD's installed today and truely could not be happier with the sound/performance. Thanks to everybody at Fi for making an amazing product.

I just ordered a 15" BL with cooling, flatwind, and unversal. Along with a recone kit for a 12" RE SX sub that I will sell after I recone it. So that 15" BL will be powered by a RF T10001BD whenever I get the amp back from RF, warranty work... That BL will go in my Scion tC, hopefully I will manage to build a 3.5cuft box and do an external tube port, and port that to 30hz. The reason why I want to do tube port is so that I can change it and tune it higher for competitions. I'm just hoping that that box can fit since the Scion tC trunks are kinda small. How much room do I need to have between bottom of box to the floor of truck? I am building a downfiring sealed box (may go ported with 10's) for crewcab chevy. I have just right at 3.0 ft^3 airspace after displacement which is exactly what is called for for the 12" Fi Q (x2) if I have the legs on the box at 1.75". I just needed to know how much room to clear sub. Thanks in Advance!

I spoke with a delivery driver with UPS today. He told me that internet sales have increased by one billion dollars in the last couple weeks. He also told me that due to the increase of shipments from online purchases to expect shipping delays. In some neighborhoods you may see drivers delivering packages on golf carts. Everyone buying their christmas gifts early offline has increased shipments being handled substantially. Now you may get your items on time with no delay, but to expect them anyway because most shipments will be late due to the increase of volume in shipments. Now it will take even longer to get my fantastic Fi subwoofers I cant wait for them to get here…

I am sending in my 12" bl and re-coning it into a 15 and i saw on the site that there is and extended lead time on the BL's so my question is will that still affect me since I am re-conning to a 15" and will be getting a new basket?

Is it ok if i face the subwoofer and port up instead on forward or backward in my trunk. 2010 altima.. would it make a difference?

I ordered a 10" BL this Saturday, but realized after reading some forums that I didn't need the extreme lead option.. I e-mailed the orders department like 20 min. after i placed the order, but have yet to get any response. That being said, I have already received tracking confirmation and they stated that the sub would be delivered this Friday..what can I do besides ordering another new sub? I will be using the sub daily, and dont want the tinsel slap or worn out spiders that this option is known for..anyone with some advice?

Is there any way i can pay alittle extra for faster shipping? like Fedex 3 day select?? I have a comp on the 25th of oct and my check will clear thurs-friday for my bank account so thats the day i can order it..is there any way i can get it thay thrus-fri(23th-24th)?? Alright so I'm making my first system, I have a 15" BL and a T1500-1bd. I was wondering if I needed to upgrade my alternator. I just bought a optima yellow top, but I noticed some people tend to have an extra battery for the sub would I need one?

I have a high output alternator being built, then Ill install 0 gauge power and ground wires,rebuild subwoofer box so all 4 subs will be facing up. Front door panels will be rebuilt installing an E8 sub as midbass, powered by a soundstream rubicon 1002, and soundstream RF-60 component set for mids and highs also powered by a soundstream rubicon 1002, the E8s will be bandpass at 60 herts to 200 herts, then the RF-60 comp set will play 200 herts and up. Hey guys! Here are a few vids of my Q 15's. The first 2 are vids with my first box which was 7.2 CuFt after all displacement tuned to 32 Hz. That box fell apart cause the guy who built it didnt use any kind of adhesive in the joints...only screws. You can actually hear the rattling from the box...it sounded horrible. The second 2 are with new box which is 8CuFt, tuned to 30hz with 120 SqIn of port. Enjoy! The vids just dont do these justice. This is by far the loudest and best sounding setup I've ever had. I have a 2004 GS300 and my trunk is sealed off from the cabin, and have never owned a car that seats didnt fold down and this cars' doesnt and doesnt have a passthrough through the rear arm rest either.. So this may be a stupid question but will i get enough bass in the cabin of my car? I plan on ordering a 12'' Fi BL dual 2ohm ported probably at 32hz.. 1000w at 1ohm.. Thanks
