Ok heres the story, my back window had major bubbles and i dont know why, its been perfect for 10 years. Well i got tired of it, plus when the sun gets in just a little you can totally see the ugly rear of the wall which is fairly "raw" . Sorta embarrassing to roll my honda out, hella slammin, tuckin 18's..........but the worlds ugliest tint and behind it a raw backside of a wall. I just wanted to say that I am amazed by your subs. I haven't cranked it up in a while, but I did yesterday, and was bewildered again. I was at Circuit city yesterday, and all of the guys who work there showed me their equipment. Kicker, MTX. A customer had a JL W712 on an alpine 1000. They sounded ok, but my bros bl 12 just kills the JL spl wise, as well as another guys 2 kicker comp 12s. The lows the the BL are just nasty- sounding strong and authoritative. I have 2 18" BTLs w/ 2 memphis 4ks, and I noticed on strong hits I'll hold 12v at the front, but at the amps I was droppping in the 8-9v range. I just ordered a 15" BL with cooling, flatwind, and unversal. Along with a recone kit for a 12" RE SX sub that I will sell after I recone it. So that 15" BL will be powered by a RF T10001BD whenever I get the amp back from RF, warranty work... That BL will go in my Scion tC, hopefully I will manage to build a 3.5cuft box and do an external tube port, and port that to 30hz. The reason why I want to do tube port is so that I can change it and tune it higher for competitions. I'm just hoping that that box can fit since the Scion tC trunks are kinda small. The box that I did have in there for the RE was 2.5cuft already. With the new box I will remove the spare tire and…

I;m trying to buy an 18ssd and put it in my acura. The only way to really do so is to use tube ports instead of slotted to decrease the volume of the box. I dont really know how to do it. i went to this site called klaus audio and it designed one for me. I however don't know if it is legit. It says for a 6.2 cubic foot box tuned to 33hz id need 2 4" ports 8.5 inches long each....i wnaan build it but need to see if it will actually work....here's what it says http://www.klausaudio.com/myaccount/view_b...cfm?boxid=37047 ...please tell me what you think.

Hey guys, I made a post about a problem with my fully loaded bl. Its just not as loud as it once was and Im still having problems but ive ruled out about everything and rewired everything. Now im thinking its my amp that is the problem. Is there a way to tell if your amp isn't working properly? I can't figure out how to tell i took off the faceplate and didnt see anything and it still turns on just fine. My only concern is i backed into a truck and so my trunk is slightly bent up a little bit making the seal not very affective causing my amp to get frost on it when i put my back seat up at night. Is there any way to really be able to tell if my amp is having a problem? Im…

Haven't heard from Nick or Scott in awhile, so I am checking up to see if my BTL has been rebuilt yet or not. I understand that yall are busy, but I emailed you twice, and the last thing you said to me about 2 weeks ago in your last email, was that it would be done nearly 2 weeks ago. Just give me an update is all I ask, and please don't take this as me getting hostile or an attitude with you. Any time I have talk to Nick or Scott, they have been very helpful, and I understand that this a busy time for them right now, but I would really like to get my sub back if it is finished. So I got there to find out my alternator is dying, and won't keep more than 13.9v at idle. It was a great first show, I did bass race and truck/suv 1501+. I got 149.9 in bass race and took first place. I got 2nd place in truck/suv to todd hardwick (but he has a wall in his truck made just for spl, I have a daily setup. First run was 150.6@44hz, but I thought I peaked a little lower. Next run I tried lower- and got a 150.8@ 35hz. My alternator wouldn't allow for more than the initial burp, so I know redoing my electrical system will do a lot. I was wondering what happened to Sean from FI. I placed my order with him a little over 2 weeks ago(supposedly straight through him on what he told me was his personal cell phone number) anyways i've been calling him just about everyday since because I wanted to change the color of the logo on the dustcaps but I am unable to get a hold of him. Also he hasnt even taken the money out of my bank account for the order yet. I'm local to them so I was told I would be able to pick them up(really doesnt have anything to o with my issue)but he doesnt answer any of my calls. im curious on how long does it takes to recieve a recone kit? its been 3-4 weeks already and i still have no recieved my recone. Hey guys, I had sent an email awhile back concerning a recone kit for a 12" RE SX (D2) - I'd seen that you had been able to send kits out earlier, and was wondering if you can still do it (and if so, at what price?)... Hey, I'm not really sure where to post this comment so I figured this would be the best spot since it's pertaining to my fi gear. I am considering going to my first comp, trying to find somewhere within 4hours of Myrtle Beach SC and I think the closest place is roanoke rapids next month. I am not sure which class I will be in trying to find out before I go. I will be competing with my daily driven yukon, boxes come above the window line (where in a newer yukon they would not ) I have 2 18" btls, 3 batteries (might get a few more, depends on class) and 2 4kw amps. Although not done yet, it is installed and I've had a coupld PM's from people asking to see pics of install, so here it is. not really a build log, sorry shoulda taken more pics of me and my friend beating on the trunk floor with a tire arm to get the box to fit. also have a crappy quality vid up on youtube, it was done with cell phone but at least shows some of the flexing power LOL click on the guy who made the comment, then click on his vid on his facebook or myspace or w/e very funny

I have a 2 channel amp and im tryin to see if I should get a dual 2ohm voice coil or dual 4ohm. How will i be able to wire the subs to get a 2 ohm load to the amp without having both subs connected to eachother
