I recently bought a recone for my HCCA 15 and I think the leads are too short for me to use. Is it usual for the leads to only go past the spider by 1"? Let me know what I can do about this. I have included a couple pics so you can see what I am talking about. Thanks!

Hello everyone, Ok so im thinking about adding a second battery in my car in the trunk to maintain voltage drop. right now iv got a red top under the hood, about to do the big 3 and a 120a stock alt with a rockford t10000bdcp and a alpine pdx f4. Im planning on getting a kenetik hc800 in the back to add a little more power to my electrical. What i was wanting to know is would this work properly and just add power to my electrical or will it burn out my alt or anything?? i know iv heard of people adding a battery with a stock alt and was thinking it would be fine because i really dont want to spend 600 on a ho alt right now. my local stereo shop says i need a bigger alt an…

This is a new project going in my friends Charger R/T. He wants to slowly setup a nice SQ setup. We will more than likely use the Q's. If doing an IB, the rear deck will be completly blocked off and sealed up. Any suggestions or ideas would be great....thanks.

Here are a few pics of my somewhat recent install and my brand new tint. I got a 15" Fi Q with red dustcap and BP Power, running on a Sundown 1200D at 1 ohm. Put it into a custom built box with white ultra-suede front and 4.0 cu ft volume with (4) 3" ports which i dont think is quite enough but ill be upgrading to a XCON eventually so trying not to put any more money into this system unless absolutely necessary. The tint is 15% all around (back shield, back 2 doors, and front 2 doors) and im considering a 50% on the front shield. Car is a 1999 Volvo S70. Headunit is Alpine CDA-9886..... I received my Fi Q15 yesterday!! I ordered it with the BP option and a Red dustcap to match my car. This sub looks amazing!! The build quality of this Fi product is better than that of other brands. I was really impressed with the multi stranded woven tinsel leads. I cant wait to install it this weekend. I am finishing up my box (4cf @ 30hz.) and will be running a Cadence iA7 in a 07' Chrysler 300C. I'll make sure to post pics when completed. I have a 09 accord coupe. I want this to bump but not rattle like crazy. Which do u guys prefer? I would like a 12 not a 15 lol. Im kinda a noob so any help would be great. Thanks. The trunk space is pretty small.

Hello everyone, im new to Fi and have decided to try out one of their drivers, however i need some help. I just recently ordered a 12 BL D2 w/ cooling on the 18th and went down to a local shop where im getting the box made eventually and showed the guy the BL's specs which i had written down so he could get an idea of what he would be building. He took a look at the driver's FS of 37.8hz and thought i was crazy for getting a sub with such a high FS...saying it would suffer in lower frequencies. So i starting thinking perhaps i should of got a Q instead of a BL. Ive got a Nine.1 @ 1200 rms to throw at it for Daily Driving...not SPL comp/burping, etc, just a street beater …

I'm torn between the 2 really great reviews currently for the SSD and the Q. Primarily, I want an SQ setup as I think it'll get plenty loud in my Suby wagon. Been running 750w bridged to my 2 Diamond Audio 12s sealed and while I would go with the copper coil config with the SSD, the price difference in going to the Q is really not that much. If 750w to the SSD would be pretty loud, I don't think I would upgrade my amp any time soon. But since the Q is touted so heavily, many are happy with their SSD with around 500w but 1000w seems ideal for it. Thanks!

my friend gave me a box that had his 2 15" RF T2's in it. I am pretty sure it is 3.2 cubes after displacement and tuned to 38hz or so. Would it be okay to put some Fi BLs into this box or no? Tryin to save a little money and want good output. Or should I just throw 2 more T2's into that box and use it?

So I ordered my subwoofer after a summer of saving finally. Anyway I never got a UPS tracking number email. It's been 17 day since my order has been sent in along with my money being accepted. Just wondering if I understood what they meant about it. Do I get it when they actually ship my subwoofer or after my order was placed? Thanks for the help guys

This subwoofer is one badass lil puppy. its built like a tank , im still in shock that this is there bottom of the barrel driver. i cant wait to get my enclosure built going to be in a cube ported to 32 hz single aeroport off 800 watts. such a lil beast.

I read around and heard that scott used to own RE audio and that FI and RE are about the same thing. How is that now? How do the subs from scott, FI, now vs RE Audio, now compare? some say that RE is about the same but less expensive...

The sub is wicked loud. I thought my 2 type r 12's were loud but this sub hands down decimates them.

The Question(s): BP,Basket,and Send in sub are some of the options.. 1.Can i get the BP power option if mine didn't originally have it? 2.Basket? do i say yes or no? Ok so I just ordered a stock 18 q, and I was wondering if anyone has a idea of a good amp within a $250 price range that should power it nicely.

I have two q 15 d1's with bp power and I need recones for both of them. I have only had them approx. 1 month

as i had anticipated. Of course i still need to upgrade to the big 3, and running a bxi1606d at 1ohm. It's in my 99 Denali and i made the box to 7.5 cu ft tuned to 32 hz. I double bffled all the walls to a total of 1.5 inch thick. Do i need to upgrade to 0 gauge wiring? A bigger amp? I noticed that the BTL was SUPER stiff! Mayb i need to push 3000w to it instead 1600

I ordered my 12" X series sub July 15th. It says on the website it will take 3-7 business days to build, then it will be shipped. Today is the 21st business day! I emailed a while ago and received a reply on Aug 4th that the subs are currently taking 10-15 days to build and that my sub should be shipped out by the 5th. I emailed again on the 10th when I still hadn't gotten an update on my shipping notice and still haven't gotten a reply back. What is going on? If you are having problems and need to revise the ship dates, at least let your customers know. Me having to make a post and ask isn't very good business.

Im In The Process Of Building New Box For My 87 Mustang. It Will Be For 2 BTLS's Around 8 Cubes Net. The Anticipation Was Killing Me So I just Went Ahead And Threw My Old Box Where The Passanger Seat Was to see how it performed on my SAZ-3000D At first i was amazed.
