Thinking of trying out a bandpass box for my 15" btl, but does anyone have the t/s specs for this sub? It's the old BTL with only double stack magnets, 15". Thanks!

Hello All, I am looking a few amp reccomendations for my FI Q 12" preferably not over $500.00. I was origanaly thinking of going with one of the new soundstream 4channel amp and bridge 2 but i dont think it will be enough power so am looking for a few more reccomendtions to point me in the right direction... Hi I have an 18" FI btl(older model) fully loaded triple stack..and I broke the top outter ring of the basket in 3 places and was wondering how much this would cost to get fixed? and by fixing that would that mean a recone also?? zip is 72936 thnx, Trenton

Hi, How can get a hold of FI Recone deportment other than e-mail? The problem is that I been waiting to send a payment for 2 RE XXX 12" recone kits, I have e-mail them several time on where to send it, but I don't know why is taking them so long to get back at me on this.

I've been waiting for almost TWO weeks to see the BTL Recones back up on the site. What is going on here?? I have several competitions that is just going to go past me and nothing is happening with the BTL service. I mean I really like the subs but the service for BTL that i've been receiving is very horrible. Im on the verge on switching over to RE and purchase the XXX's. Can someone please give me a answer on these Recones for the BTL's??

This might've been answered before, as most new topics in the forum usually have been, but I thought Fi didn't use to charge for shipping subs? Wasn't it included in the price of the sub before??

Right now i have a 15" FI Q with BP and im trying to sell it. A guy came up that was interested and before i was asking more but i really need the money quick so i said $200 for sub or $299 for sub and box. I made the box so cheap because it was custom made for my car. Anyways, to get to the point he only has 170 now and so he was thinking of trading and he has some 12" audiobahns and i dont want that and then he has a jensen vm9312. Currently i have an Alpine 9886 so my question to you guys is should i trade and get the headunit or is my alpine better and i should just wait for cash? Thanks, Alex

First, should i get the 2ohm build and wire it down to 1ohm? Or get the 1ohm build? Also,I will be getting a sundown amp, but which one? I think the 1500 will serve it's purpose, won't it?

Hey all im new here and have been eyeballing a fi btl 12 for a while now and would like to get yalls opinion on what all options to go with, my scenario will be just for listening to, no competitions just a daily sub, any opinions or comments would be great, and what about amps? i am currently running a 12 l7 in a 2.0 cubic ft ported box at 32 htz with a power accoustik amp have had this set up for bout 2 years and no problem, but i have heard people put down there amps alot....opinions or comments? im currently looking into buying a Fi Q 18 right? well, i dont have any car amps currently! (Had to sell my two 600 watt kenwood amps, yea i know it isnt much power, but it was plenty for my 6000s) So, since I def. dont have enough to buy a SAZ-1000 yet, how much would you say could get the Q moving? like 500 rms? 800rms? 1000rms? I dont wanna spend a whole lot, cause I want to buy a SAZ soon, but I dont want the Fi just sitting around, you know how it is when you get a new sub, you wanna hook it up as soon as the box is done! 1 of my BL subs blew and ive been trying to get this all sorted out and sent in but thats a different story. i was wondering if i could still play the one that isnt blown. ive already taken the blown one out of the box. i dont plan on turning it up high at all. just enough so i can hear music. is that possible or is it risky?

Right now I have four JL Audio 10w3v2s in a 2.5 cf enclosure in my Suburban and I am looking to upgrade. My goal is good overall sound quality in my daily driver. Would you recommend 2 FI Q 12's or a single 15? I will be using one or two of my Tru Tech amps depending on which setup I go with. hey guys, im currently running a 10" MTX 8500 series sub with a JL Audio 500/1 amp, in a Pro Box. Its already pretty loud, but i dont think the sub would last that much longer, i was listening to a couple songs on the the way home from work and when i was a block or two away from my house i smelled something funny, went home and popped my trunk and the smell was coming from the sub, the cone was pretty warm from only 10mins of music and i had the volume at 14 on my alpine headunit. The sub is rated 500watts rms, and thats what the amp put out or a little more, but i didnt know it could heat up that much. Im looking to sticking to a 10" sub if possible since the box wasnt …

Hi, i own a 15" dual 2 BL running off a xtr2400 old school orion amp. ATM i'm running 1200watts(4ohms) to my 15. I recently owned a xtr1000, which ran 1000watts at 1ohm to my 15(which is why i have the dual 2 setup, and im an idiot for not getting universal option). But anyways now that i own this beastly amp, i would like to get the most out of it. I am thinking of buying another dual 2 15 BL and being able to wire it to 2ohms OR selling(craigslist) my 15 and buying a new 15 BTL dual 1 of course. To sums things up, what would be better output, loudness, slammin' balls wise: 2 15 BL'S or 1 15 BTL. And im sorta on a money budget right now... Greatly appreciate yalls thoug…

i just recently bought 2 BLs and got them installed last friday and only 2 days after having them one of them blew. i couldnt tell u how bcuz i wasnt playing them near loud enough. i tried blaming the store that installed them bcuz they did such a sh***y job lol. do i send an email to [email protected] to report this and send it back to them?
