i just recently bought 2 BLs and got them installed last friday and only 2 days after having them one of them blew. i couldnt tell u how bcuz i wasnt playing them near loud enough. i tried blaming the store that installed them bcuz they did such a sh***y job lol. do i send an email to [email protected] to report this and send it back to them?

im currently looking into buying a Fi Q 18 right? well, i dont have any car amps currently! (Had to sell my two 600 watt kenwood amps, yea i know it isnt much power, but it was plenty for my 6000s) So, since I def. dont have enough to buy a SAZ-1000 yet, how much would you say could get the Q moving? like 500 rms? 800rms? 1000rms? I dont wanna spend a whole lot, cause I want to buy a SAZ soon, but I dont want the Fi just sitting around, you know how it is when you get a new sub, you wanna hook it up as soon as the box is done! Hey all im new here and have been eyeballing a fi btl 12 for a while now and would like to get yalls opinion on what all options to go with, my scenario will be just for listening to, no competitions just a daily sub, any opinions or comments would be great, and what about amps? i am currently running a 12 l7 in a 2.0 cubic ft ported box at 32 htz with a power accoustik amp have had this set up for bout 2 years and no problem, but i have heard people put down there amps alot....opinions or comments? 1 of my BL subs blew and ive been trying to get this all sorted out and sent in but thats a different story. i was wondering if i could still play the one that isnt blown. ive already taken the blown one out of the box. i dont plan on turning it up high at all. just enough so i can hear music. is that possible or is it risky?

I'm currently running an eD SQ10 in a tiny sealed stealth enclosure (see this thread in the eD forums for pictures) in the rear hatch of my Scion xA. It sounds ok but I'm looking for something a bit louder and lower. I'm considering replacing the hatch floor with 3/4" MDF and going with a 12" IB3 I should have just enough clearance for it. But, I've searched the forums and haven't seen any mention of the IB3. I'd probably pick up the SVC 2ohm version and put about 500 watts to it from a bridged Boston GT-22. Well, first post here. I'm a long time member of caraudio.com/forums, but browse here frequently. So basically, I just bought a BTL off ca.com and want to know if it'll still be able to use it. It has a snapped tinsel lead and some holes burnt in the spider (see pics below). I was wondering if you guys think i'll be able to just replace the tinsel leads and use it like it is. I asked quite a few people over at ca.com about it, and most seemed to think I would be able to get away with just doing that. Obviously, i don't know much about recones/repairing subs. Hi, i own a 15" dual 2 BL running off a xtr2400 old school orion amp. ATM i'm running 1200watts(4ohms) to my 15. I recently owned a xtr1000, which ran 1000watts at 1ohm to my 15(which is why i have the dual 2 setup, and im an idiot for not getting universal option). But anyways now that i own this beastly amp, i would like to get the most out of it. I am thinking of buying another dual 2 15 BL and being able to wire it to 2ohms OR selling(craigslist) my 15 and buying a new 15 BTL dual 1 of course. To sums things up, what would be better output, loudness, slammin' balls wise: 2 15 BL'S or 1 15 BTL. And im sorta on a money budget right now... Greatly appreciate yalls thoug…

Right now I have four JL Audio 10w3v2s in a 2.5 cf enclosure in my Suburban and I am looking to upgrade. My goal is good overall sound quality in my daily driver. Would you recommend 2 FI Q 12's or a single 15? I will be using one or two of my Tru Tech amps depending on which setup I go with. hey guys, im currently running a 10" MTX 8500 series sub with a JL Audio 500/1 amp, in a Pro Box. Its already pretty loud, but i dont think the sub would last that much longer, i was listening to a couple songs on the the way home from work and when i was a block or two away from my house i smelled something funny, went home and popped my trunk and the smell was coming from the sub, the cone was pretty warm from only 10mins of music and i had the volume at 14 on my alpine headunit. The sub is rated 500watts rms, and thats what the amp put out or a little more, but i didnt know it could heat up that much. Im looking to sticking to a 10" sub if possible since the box wasnt …

I have a 12" FI "Q" running off of a JBL BP 1200.1 amp. The amp is suppose to run 1200 watts rms and I am running it correctly wire wise. Do you guys think it would perform better with a different amp setup? A friend of mine suggests a kicker amp. what do you guys think?

I drive a 2002 ford expedition with a stock alternator, and im getting 4 15" icons in a ported box either powered by a sundown 4500.1 or two sundown 2000d, So whats a good size alternator that i should get and what brand do yall recommend? Okay I have a new(to me) car, a 2001 saturn ls200. I want to get a system going but my 1 15RE SX isn't quite cutting it. So, should I get 1 18 or 2 15's. well got a BTL today. and when installing it i couldn't decide whether to take the logo off the bottom or leave it.. i left it.. should i take off the logo on the bottom of the magnet? i have the cooling option and the hixmcoil option. it didn't seem like sticker i should've taken off.. i just played it for like 5+ hours and it was fine. then i looked at some BTL pics and none have it that aren't already used.. only just unboxed ones have it.. should i take it off or what? thanks.
