Hey everyone. i am new to the forum and just wanted to say hi to you all. I just ordered my first Q sub-woofer ever and I hope it is as good as people say. However, I went through the Paypal order process and have emailed Scott, but I did not get a reply back. Has anybody heard from him lately, I hope I just didn't throw 270 bucks into no mans land. Additionally, I am still up in the air on my set up. Should I utilize a single Q12 in a ported box or dual D12's in a sealed box. I plan on running a NINe.1 amp on both setups. Additionally, I am finding it very difficult to find ported sub woofer enclosure for the required specs of the D12, any help in this matter woul…

heyy, I've been tryin to get a hold of someone from Fi for a few week now (2-3) and I've never received a reply back reguarding shipping. I know a friend of mine is also waiting for a response (about 2-3 weeks as well). Anyone know who i can contact? Ive tried sales@fi and nick@fi and never got anything back...

Hey guys, new to the forums here. I want to place an order for a sub (18" BTL) but the dilema is that I live down under in australia.... I have already emailed FI and got details on the shipping, which they actually do ship out here WHICH IS GREAT!, thank you FI!, and the cost for shipping the beast of a sub is $281 >_> which is cool by me cos its worth it to get the sub lol, so I emailed them again asking whats the best way to do this, but havent recieved a reply,, are they really busy or something because of the holiday season?. and their email is always full and have to send it to orders@... instead of sales@... so yeh thats pretty much it, thanks guys.

Well, my brother purchased a kicker L7 12 about a year ago, and was powering it with a 1kw kenwood amp that really put out more like 3-400, and after selling him my bxi2006d he noticed that he kept hearing a slapping type sound. He pulled it out of the box and you could just smell the coil, and the sub was very hot to the touch. It wasn't the tinsels slapping or anything, it was something inside. He probably messed it up with that crappy old amp, so now he wants a new sub. With the hifonics amp I suggested a dual 2ohm BL with cooling, flatwind, and p chamfer options. Well today i recieved the Dustcap for the Fi X 10 i was going to write a review on, (thanks Scott) and went out to the garage to glue her on so i can get some listening in tomorrow. Welli get out there and my CA glue is rock solid, i havent used it in probably a year so i guess it was time for it to harden up. So i guess i gotta wait now til i can make it down to Hobbytown or somethign to get some glue, as i dotn wanna play it at all without the dustcap because that wont be a "fair" review. Has it been tested to put this in a sealed box? My amp doesnt have SSF so I cant port it

I hate to ask this question, but I need to for my own clarification. I have been seeing a lot of IB setups lately, both on this forum and also in magazines. I listen to almost all heavy rap. Would an IB be totally out of the question due to all the extreme bass? SHould I just stay with my 2 10" BL's that I am planning? I like the look of them and the fact they take up so little room, I just have never seen one perform and dont know how they stand. Sorry for any inconviences, but it would be nice to know.

Ok Ive been designing my new system Ill be putting in this summer and for the amp I have chosen the Rockford Power T10001Bd to power a Fi Audio BL 15 and build a nice large ported box tuned low for it, but then I got bored and looked at the SSD 15 and saw it required less cu. ft. for a ported box and I could fit 2 of those 15s ported but would have to build seperate boxes for them because my trunk aint that big too put one big box in at once and I dont want to partialy build the box and have to finish it in the trunk, but another thing I dont know the final load of 2 Dual 1ohm subs are and if it did have a 1ohm load shuldnt the T10001Bd amp have enough power for both of t…

I have a friend thats pretty familiar with Fi and and most audio, he has told me that Fi is coming out with a 22" speaker in the future. I'm just wondering if thats a lie.

I was wondering if I ordered a BTL with the universal option and dual 1 ohm VC what will be the cost of having them changed to dual 2 ohm VC in the future. I'm having a tough time choosing what subs to use. I feel if I use the BTL's I will need massive power to be happy with them, but I currently don't have the funds for massive power only funds for a little power including battery and alternator. I also feel if I get BL's I will eventually want to upgrade to BTL's. Fi is making this a very hard decision. BTW, am I going to hate the BTL's sq? I plan on purchasing 2 12" Fi BTL's and I plan on having 2 Rockford T2500.1bd amps pushing each 12. Is that too much power for these subs. They are going to be daily subs and keep in mind that i will not be pushing them to the limits too see what they can handle...but I recieved a good deal on both. PLEASE HELP FELLOW BASSHEADS!!!

Hello All, I am looking a few amp reccomendations for my FI Q 12" preferably not over $500.00. I was origanaly thinking of going with one of the new soundstream 4channel amp and bridge 2 but i dont think it will be enough power so am looking for a few more reccomendtions to point me in the right direction... I misunderstood what the I heat ring option does when I placed my order, and chose not to get it. I mainly listen to metal, so transient response is very important to me, so I'd really like to have that option. I've already emailed sales about it, but I don't expect a response any time soon (because it's 3 o'clock in the friggin' morning). So if it's too late for them to do anything about it, I'd just like to know how much I'm missing out on. How big of a difference does the I heat ring make? By the way, my order is number #2676. I ordered on the 31st of August, but it didn't switch to "awaiting fulfillment" until the 11th.

Hi! thanks to the amazing forum i put together my first system and havnt looked back so far! for the first time today i had my car measured at the modified nationals in peterborough, UK i have a reasonably small system compared to many on here Consists of; a 15" Fi Q, Sundown 1000-d amp, knuconcepts wiring (4AWG), apline H/U the box is sealed built by me i hit 138.0 music Just trying to get some idea of what i could aim for or if this sound pretty decent Thanks pez p.s if you need to know anymore just let me know

Does anyone out there have an idea as to when these drivers are going to be in production. I contacted Fi two months ago and they told me it was a month away and they would be at a new web site blueprintdrivers.com. It has been quite a long wait and I'm starting to think that I might just go a different route. One can only wait so long before you start to look else were. I hope someone can give me some hope to hold out just a little longer. Thanks
