I was just reading back on some topics and i think that i dont need the Universal option if i get dual 2 coils is that true? Will the dual 2 coils definitely give me a 1ohm load?

I have a friend thats pretty familiar with Fi and and most audio, he has told me that Fi is coming out with a 22" speaker in the future. I'm just wondering if thats a lie.

I have a single 15 bl and i want to kno wats the hardest pushin amp i can put on it?

i have a kicker zx1000.1 which is rated at 1258 watts at 2ohms. and i was wondering if this will be plenty of power for a daily setup with only the pole chamfer on the sub, o and i listen to rap 99% of the time, so im thinkin that this will be fine, and im also leaning a little more towards the spl side over sq im goin to bulid a box soon for it, it will be 4cu. ft. @ 32hz, dont know the exact dimensios but i will know soon thanks

heyy, I've been tryin to get a hold of someone from Fi for a few week now (2-3) and I've never received a reply back reguarding shipping. I know a friend of mine is also waiting for a response (about 2-3 weeks as well). Anyone know who i can contact? Ive tried sales@fi and nick@fi and never got anything back...

First i'm from over at ca.com and do amp repairs over there.Everyone over there is great and added to come over to fi and talk to scott about picking up 3 drop in recones for re's sx 15's.So my ques. is can i have 3 re sx 15's drop in recones for them and the price plus shipping.Really i just want them as close as everything from the org. as possible with 3 layer spider,dvc 2 ohms with the fi soft parts and tensel about the same.I have a btl 15 that i reconed and before i did the install i put it in the re sx and fit perfect.Please let me know,thanks.

I plan on purchasing 2 12" Fi BTL's and I plan on having 2 Rockford T2500.1bd amps pushing each 12. Is that too much power for these subs. They are going to be daily subs and keep in mind that i will not be pushing them to the limits too see what they can handle...but I recieved a good deal on both. PLEASE HELP FELLOW BASSHEADS!!!

I was just curious if anyone had a High resolution image of the Fi symbol. I'm considering getting a hat made and i cant find a big enough picture of the Fi Logo. or if anyone knows where i can get a fitted Fi hat that's cool too thanks

Has it been tested to put this in a sealed box? My amp doesnt have SSF so I cant port it

I plan on buying 1 18'' Fi.BL with these options:dual 2 ohm,cooling,flatwind coil,daily option.Hooked up to a US Amps MD1D thats 1200 rms at 1 ohm.the BL's handle 1000 rms do you think the bl can handle the whole 1200 rms from the amp?I love loud bass but want it to hit low notes as well so what should i tune it to? With a ported box from 6-9 cubic ft. BTW just for a lucky guess how much db will I possibly b hitting will it be over 145db possibly 148db-149db.is that loud? Please answer all my questions. P.S. I found the US Amps MD1D for just 209.00 is that a good price or is it the base price? Also how good are US Amps from a 1/10? Are they better than Kicker and Hifonics…

Hi! thanks to the amazing forum i put together my first system and havnt looked back so far! for the first time today i had my car measured at the modified nationals in peterborough, UK i have a reasonably small system compared to many on here Consists of; a 15" Fi Q, Sundown 1000-d amp, knuconcepts wiring (4AWG), apline H/U the box is sealed built by me i hit 138.0 music Just trying to get some idea of what i could aim for or if this sound pretty decent Thanks pez p.s if you need to know anymore just let me know

Hey guys, new to the forums here. I want to place an order for a sub (18" BTL) but the dilema is that I live down under in australia.... I have already emailed FI and got details on the shipping, which they actually do ship out here WHICH IS GREAT!, thank you FI!, and the cost for shipping the beast of a sub is $281 >_> which is cool by me cos its worth it to get the sub lol, so I emailed them again asking whats the best way to do this, but havent recieved a reply,, are they really busy or something because of the holiday season?. and their email is always full and have to send it to orders@... instead of sales@... so yeh thats pretty much it, thanks guys.

Hello All, I am looking a few amp reccomendations for my FI Q 12" preferably not over $500.00. I was origanaly thinking of going with one of the new soundstream 4channel amp and bridge 2 but i dont think it will be enough power so am looking for a few more reccomendtions to point me in the right direction... So I checked last night UPS said Shipped, FI said shipped and its schedualed for next wed. I am very happy. But now Im starting my box build And I think Iv changed things a little.. I was running 6 cubes Net Volume. That was perfect for me as it just maxed out my the dimensions I could use...However, I think that in reality after displacements ill be down around 5 cubes... Is that enough? Or should I bump the box up to 7 net cubes? Any advice? Thanks

can a btl 18 take 2500 RMS daily??

I have a ported box now but i thought for fun i would change the port length to get me a tuning of 28hz. Becuse of the lower tuning will that do anything to the efficenty of the design? Would be audibly different while playing? I thought it would drop lower when i put it in from the begining. thanks

I send one to shawn about the contest and a shirt/stickers thing, and actually pointing out I'd rather have Scott write reconed by sign his name and @ FI on the recones I'm getting but since it won't happen I'll take the shirt/stickers instead... unless of coarse scott does want to sign my cones instead in which case I'd pay for a shirt and stickers instead and may end up keeping the subs lol... unnLESS I could get him to sign other complete FI subs down the line... so people can complain as it adds dBs and that's why it's loud lol eh, 1am here, wife's pissed so I gtg... thanks…

what would be a good amp to put on one fully loaded 15 btl with dual 2 coils. i got a quantum 4500d that is stable at 1 ohm that i was thinking of putting on it but im not sure if i should do that or get a better one
