i need help deciding what 12 inch subs i should get. its beetween the fi audio ssd or the soundstream t6. ive had soundstream b4 and i really like it but ive also heard good things about fi audio. i like hard hitting bass. i got a 03 mustang and got about 6 cubic ft of space for a box so if u guys could help me put in deciding it b great. i got 2 hifonic 2000 watt amps a 1800 kinetik battery. my budget for subs is about 500 dollars total/ or if u guys can know of any better sub give me ideas thanks

hey guys, i currently got a Fi 15" BL with an aq1200d, in a 3.3 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz, it is a crappy box made out of 0.50 mdf because i just wanted the system in lol. I know this sub can get much much louder. How does a box just under 4 cubes (3.78) tuned to 35hz sound to you guys ? also with gains down could this sub eventually maintain an aq2200d ? I would have gains set so its pushing about 1500rms thnx guys !!

Just wanted to thank everyone that gave me different inputs on what I should buy, wouldn't have been able to do it by myself...that's for sure...haha....Also a special thanks to Nick. He helped me out so much via emails on what to buy, but I still bought the wrong sub. >.<....Contacted him and within the day he told me that he got the coils switched for me! I'm looking at 2 used 15" BL's owed by 2 different people. Both are D1's and both are Fully Loaded Daily Subs However, I've been told that 1 has the older style double stacked mag and the other has an identical sized single mag. Did they change the mag design? And if so, will these subs perform differently from one another making them not so good as a pair?

Put my order in around 12:45am (eastern) Saturday morning. can't wait to get it in. look for my build log coming up as soon as i receiver the woofer and router my flushed hole for the woofer. the box is already mostly built and the rest of my setup is nearing completion. i just need a 6ch amp and a $150 run to parts express

will there be a new cone design for the Q line or any line? Maybe something that looks like the new AA Havocs. Make it an all black cone with the with the Fi logo painted on the bottom of the cone in flat black. Something like the havocs or the w7's. And since the subs are made to order, you could do any color that the buyer wants to have on it. Sound good to anyone???

when are they coming out? i was going to get 4 18" but when i heard these 22's were coming out i figured i would wait... is there going to be a new motor on it or any drastic changes or should i just get the 18"s? pretty much just wondering if there coming out in the next couple of months

hey i have a couple last minute questions! i need to cut a hole for the sub to fit in! On the Fi web site i have a Bl 15" does the CUT ID: 14.125" mean thats the size of the hole across i cut?? and for the port i should screw those into the box on the top and bottom not just glue right?? I have a 07 silverado crew cab and Im going to go with 1 12" downfire ported box. How do I know the size of the port Ill need? Also the amp I just bought is an sundown 1200d V2 Should I get a SSD with all the options or a BL with no options? Money is an issue, so if I will be fine with the SSD please let me know, keep in mind I would get all upgrades with the SSD

im going to build my box today for my Fi BL 15" and i looked onlinw of what to use and it says to use Panhead sheet metal screws? shouldnt i use wood screws or are those wood screws?? and it also says to use drywall screws? why use drywall screws? whats the diffrence? and where do they go?

I need grilles for my 2 10" SSD's. Not the metra universal mesh ones please. I dont like the look of thoes. Does anyone know of any that I can use? I am not sure that grilles from Kicker, Fosgate, Polk, etc will clear the excursion of the Fi's. Please help if you can. I need them for protection more so than looks, with the exception of that horrible mesh, anything will do. Thanks in advance

Hey, I'm planning on buying a 12'' Fi Q sub, and I was wondering what type of box would be good for me... I have a polk/momo c500.1. I was planning on getting the dual 1ohm to run 500rms to the sub. I'm looking for good SQ(obviously why I'm getting the Q) but I want to be able to feel that chit in my back if I want to, lol. It's going in an older 4DR BMW. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. I went to a car audio place and they basically tried to discredit fi and say theres no way a sub of less than 600 can handle 5000 watts how does a fi Q w/ bp compare to a Re Mx and a MTX Thunder Square 750s
