I have a single cab s10 and wana try out the ssd 10. Should I do ported or sealed and how much volume gives best potential. If ported where should I point the port? Floor, forward, ceiling

Okay here is the setup. 10 inch SSD in a 1.7ft^3 enclosure w/ 6" Aero ~26" Effective The goal is to peak around 48 - 52hz. I have a 20.1 for power (D2 SSD). Vehicle is a 1998 Explorer TWO QUESTIONS 1 - Do you think it will be effective? Or a GOOD place to start? 2 - Do you think it will take the 20.1 for burps?

I got a 350Z recently and I'll be redoing the entire sound system using mostly parts I had from prior systems that I took apart years ago. Long story short I'll be building a fiberglass corner box, sealed, about 0.5 cuft and I can put a 10" sub in there. so i just bought a jl 1000.1 amp and now im about to buy a fi 12Q. which voice coils should i get and how should i wire it? the box im going to build is 22"w-9.5"d-14"h sealed with 1.186^3 net air space in my tc. sorry for the noob questions, im not very good with wiring.

Just wanted to let anyone who is on the fence about Fi and another brand, go with Fi. I got my two 15inch SSD's installed today and truely could not be happier with the sound/performance. Thanks to everybody at Fi for making an amazing product.

2 18" bl's in 11.8 cubes @ 35 hz: sq: sq is not the best, but certainly not even close to the worst. you have to remember i have owned 2 different gen magnums, and have listened to my friends xxx pretty extensively. the average user will be satisfied with the sq. the audiophile probably will not...but these woofers weren't designed to be the upper echelon for sq anyways, so im not really taking anything away from these woofers. spl: pretty **** good if you ask me. are being ran off a kx2500.1 with a birthsheet of 2.9kw @ 2 ohms. wired @ 1 ohms with gains set to give roughly 3k. the certainly punch pretty good. i have had to drill my rear hatch glass hinges and put bolts t…

Whats going on, I'm need to this sound world but I was interested in 2 Fi BL12 which would be powered by a Sundown 1500D. Is that enough power to make the subs sound good? If not what do you recommend? It'll be in a dodge charger which has plenty of trunk space.

It's 3 cuft tuned @ 33 hz and it's going in a 2001 Dodge Durango. I'm getting the plexi etched at my laser shop and it should slam. This is my first install w/ Fi products and let's hope it's not my last.

I ordered 2 Fi Q 12"s on June 6th and was wondering if there was someone to contact about how much longer it will take. I am not complaining because I understand that each of these are custom made and take time but I was just wondering if its going to be more like a week from now or possibly longer..

Hey guys, just wanted a little input on which sub will suit me best. I have a 2003 Buick Lesabre, stock alt for now, 0 gauge throughout, optima yellow top, and a SAZ1500D. I like to listen to mostly rap. I currently have a sundown z15 v.1 in a 3 cubic foot box tuned to 34hz. I like the sundown sub, but I want something that pounds harder and louder! I am looking at 3 different 12" subs. FI BTL fully loaded, Sundown Nightshade, or SSA XCON. Now keep in mind whichever one I choose now, I will be getting a second one down the road for a total of 2. If anyone has ever made a box for a 2000-2005 lesabre let me know because i am trying to build a box that ports through the arm …
