I am in pretty desperate need of help...I tried to design a box and I keep getting lost. I am working with about 18" in height, 48" in width, and roughly 20-25" of depth. I would like to do 2 15" BLs tuned to around 34 Hz or so. Can someone please help me out. Thanks.

Well after a few months of owning my Bl 12 I've learned that I won't buy a mainstream sub for myself ever again! I also won't ever build a box that isn't as good or better than the one that I built for this beast either! Its only seen a 1200w rms hifonics amp the time that I've owned it and I feel it could handle 2000w with proper crossover tuning. I ended up building a box which after bracing was really close to 2.45ft^3 and tuned to 30hz give or take a hertz(not sure if the port is "exactly" 2.5x12" and "exactly" 31.25" long). Hey so i recently ordered an Fi BL 18in dual 2ohm. And i made a huge mistake. I treid to contact Fi at [email protected] to see if theres anychance for them if they hadnt start building the subwoofer if they can change it from dual 2ohm to dual 1 ohm. if any of the Fi car audio workers see this plz help to see if i can get that changed

Im interested in buyign 2 btl 12" subs i want to no wat the 3rd magnet does also if i could use a massive 3000.1 to run them both?

just spent $210 for a 12" BTL recone but i have a question.do i still have to pay to ship it to vegas? or am i supposed to recieve a label through email? i was probably better off just buying a new sub if im gonna be paying over $300..any answers?

Hey, wuts up. I've got a 12" Bl in a box that is 2.4 before displacement. Right now it is tuned to 30 hz, and I absolutely love it. However, would something like a 35hz or 38hz tune have a higher output for competition? I'm running about 800 watts to the sub right now.

I keep reading threads about people sending in there subs and waiting for a long period of time, as well as the outrageous shipping prices, just to get some recones. Well after two weeks checking the post office everyday, it finally came lol. my first thoughts of this sub is my god it is huge...built like a tank. it is pretty damn heavy to say the least. i have never owned a sub larger than a 12" so as you can imagine i am very excited to have this. thanks for everything Scott and the rest of the guys at FI. Im not sure there is a car audio company out there that can match your customer service, and of course top notch build quality for an affordable price. here are the pics i took so far i will start a build thread over in the build log section too.

What up guys! I know I have been a pain trying to plan my setup, been doing it forever and a day now, lol. For the longest time I didn't heed many of your warnings, but tonight for some reason all your warnings hit me. I was thinking of jumping from my two little 12" RF P3's to 2 15" BTLs fully loaded. Money, time, patience, and the willingness to upgrade wasn't my issue, it was the BIG jump factor. I don't think I am ready to take such a huge jump from two weaklings to two way above monsters....so instead I'm gonna go with 2 15" BL's. Are there any issues right now with reconing IB3's? My 18" IB3 was delivered to Fi car audio 10/19/2010.

would this work, a Hifonics Brutus bxi 2000w with a 18 inch btl n2? what would the ohms be when i by the btl? it would be dual 1 right?
