okay guys, i am fairly new to the whole subwoofer thing and i need a bit of help getting myself started. First off, i need to know the differences between duals (1) (2) (4). My friend is helping me with most of this, and he tells me that i need subwoofers that come in a dual 4 ohm coil so he can wire them up to 1 ohm. I am planning on getting 2 12" Subwoofers, either Soundsplinters rl-p in a dual 4 ohm (if i knew what that meant) or the Fi Q's, but i'm having a hard time figuring out if they can be wired up to 1 ohm. Whether i get the rl-p's or q's they will be both placed in the same exact sealed enclosure, and will be wired to an elemental designs amp that is running 12…

Looking at NEW (not used) vehicles that would be good to put a huge system in. It needs to be under $17,500. So far the only ones that I have like are the 2008 Scion XB, and the Jeep Patriot. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks guys. Dan

Finally got around to videoing my 15" Fi SSDs once I got them proper power.. Am running them off of 1600 watts now.. They are in a 8ft^3 net enclosure tuned to 33hz.. You can tell how they slaughter the lows from the videos..The flex is still much more noticeable in person than it is in the videos.. These dudes move some air! went to chickens today after dropping my daughter off....there was a few people up there and of course they wanted a demo...........the boys from the Doja Clik were back up there too. Got some good footage and also a decent hair trick. Also filmed for like 10 seconds inside the house with the 7' towers bumpin. Bl 18, how much am I looking at for new Voice Coils in Dual 1ohm? And How hard are they to swap out. I want to be able to swap them for comps

Hi all, I'm new to this and been going by what my friend and his dad tell me but as their taste in music is different than mine I wanted to ask around. I drive a 03 s-10 xtrme ext cab and have 2 12's currently but they are horrid and was looking for something better. I list to alot of rock, metal but i also listen to quite a bit of hiphop/rap. I have a hifonics 2000watt amp and was wondering what size/series of speaker would work good for my taste in music and size of the truck that also work with the amp I already have.

Hey everyone, I'm new here! I'm about to put some bass back into my car finally. Just hoping you guys can be a little better help than RoE was. So I'm thinking I want to go with 1 12" SSD and I'm looking at a Hifonics BXi1206D amp. I'm only looking to spend about $600 on everything. Now a few questions: Do you think that amp is a good match? What type of box should I run? (I like real powerful bass) And is my 4ga wire going to be enough. (I already have a Rockford Fosgate p400.4 hooked up to my door's) Thanks in advance!

Hey I'm just wondering when you guys swithced from one big magnet to 4 pie shapped magnet like on the new RE XXX's? Is thier any increase in power handling, and is thier anything internaly diff with them? Can they be ran with another new BTL that has the old style single magnet? Heres some pics not my sub I seen it on another forum. I remember some subs having pie shapped wedges between the basket and motor was that the cooling before and you switched to this or was that just a spacer for more excursion because some times i seen them on them and some times i dont.

i bought a 10 q back in mid feb and i have had no problems until now i have had two lead wires break in the past two weeks i soldered them both back on but one has broke again and now there is not enough lead wire to reach the terminal
