Can i get a 04/05 xxx motor reconed to a 10"?

I know this has been gone over, but i was just wondering how a single 12" BTL ported at around 2.5 at 32hz...would stand up to two 12" RE se series sealed in 2.5...on an aq2200d. Could i expect any sound quality? any other things you need to know...just let me know. i also thought about inverting the BTL...any concerns or comments on that would also be helpful.

I'm a noob so bear with me. I would like to have some trunk space available after i put my box in. Interested in a ported box I really want the 15BL but i am afraid it'll take up to much trunk space but i can settle for a 12BL if i need too. If i choose to go with 12BL or the 15BL, what dimensions and tunning spec so i go with? I listen to old school rap, trance and a little bit of alternative rock. Also which voice coil option should i choose to go alone with my amp? Current amp is autotek SS 1900 Thanks all

Just picked up one my BTL motors, plan on getting another soon. And I am working on a new box as well. I will be giving a Sundown3000 to each BTL, my question is can I safely tune the box low? I wanted to tune around 29-30hz but I have been told tuning that low with that much power on them is not a good idea.

if I got a tracking number does that mean my woofer shipped out?

I recieved an email saying My order # 1001 has shipped back on February 19th. It still has not arrived??? I am trying to contact FI to let them know because it may have got lost somewhere. I know the postal system is screwed up.

I ordered the 18" BTL on december 30th. I've been reading that they don't get like the motors in or some stuff till next monday? Thats fine with me, cuz I got a lotta work to do on my car. I have 3 batteries, one to replace under the hood. No alternator yet, but I'm doing the big three. Sub up, port back no speaker upgrades yet and headunit soon, but probably after an alternator does that sound decent for now? I'm going to start taking out my third row, and I'm paying 10$ for box specs from a kid named aznboi on an explorerforum.

What is the optimal box size (cubic feet) and port area (square inches) for a 12" BTL? Tuning to about 35 Hz.

Big Island guy, on O'ahu for school. Was looking at RE's SXs, but now I'm really leaning heavily toward Fi's BL 12" after reading online. 1. Can you quote me shipping cost (USPS if its cheapest without being super slow) to 96816 2. If this is non-competition, wanting a solid daily-driver that can handle my old Kicker 1200.1 which if any of the additonal options should I be looking at (i.e. cooling, flatwind, etc.) Thanks for any info, I've been building my own systems for about 8 years but haven't had the pleasure (or so I hear) of working with Fi products yet.

i have a rockford fosgate t30001db a 200 amp alt. a yellow top in front and a kinetiks hc2400 battery in back ive been buyin piece by piece now its time for the subs i want to buy sum fi's but dont know wich ones... is this amp not good enough for 2 15" BTL's fully loaded?? if not what would yall suggest?? thanks for the support

ok so my old sub quit working and was smoking in the box right took it out and decided to play with it and is working again but absolulely stnks when played but seems to pound just as hard wtf is going on? is it ok or is it bad to play like that

when i go to the FI site, goto speakers, click the BL series, nothing shows up. The rest work, just the BL. I want to order my new subs but...

Can a BL 15 handle 1000 watts rms on music for 10 to 15 min at a time with just p chamfer, Daily?? I need to know asap so I can place my order. In a 3ft3 enclosure tuned to 48hz.

I know SQ is rather subjective, but what are some opinions of BL compared to the Q. Maybe the easier way to do it would be rating each on a 1-10 scale, not sure. Either way, I would just like to know any and all opinions about the BL sound quality. Feel free to compare, rate, whatever. Thanks!

Sorry for making a post about this, it just seems to get answered alot faster than emails. I got a speedy 10 minute response the first day about sending my sub in, but once I sent it out, I never got another email reply. Some confirmation if you received my sub and if you can fix it/build me a new one would be appreciated. Thanks scott/nick/whoever. hey, ive been trying to contact you guys about recones for my 2 8" assassins that i sent in a while ago. ive been emailing scott back and forth, but my last email was last week, and he told me he'd call me on monday for my card info. its now friday, and i still havent heard anything from fi. i tried calling today and left a message, but no reply...any updates for me? im desperately waiting for my two cute drivers to show up.

I'm sure this has come up before, but I searched and didn't find anything. I'm designing my box to have 1.3cuft per speaker. What would change if I moved it up to 1.4 or 1.5? would it make much of a difference? Also while I'm here, for the BP power, the website says it "increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application. 
". In this application, being 1.3cuft sealed, would I be okay giving them 1300w? Thanks for any help.

I want some different 15"s that will not neccesarily hit harder than my CVX'S but hit Lower and Sound better... The box will be sealed around 2.4 cubic ft per chamber....can't fit a ported box for 15"s in my car and i already had two 12" cvx's in a sealed box at 33hz and to me it didn't sound good or hit the lows like i wanted... The cvx's hit hard but still not low enough and they lack in sq also So what subs do you suggest will fit my needs?? Thanks

I have a 12" BL thats was dropped ans the basket broke right off the motor. I am planning on selling it and was wondering would you rather fix it yourself or buy it fixed? I am planning on JB Welding it back together. I will be selling 2. One is a month old and is perfectly fine. What do you guys think?? They are both 12" BL D2 w/Hyper Pole.

Recently I purchased two 12 inch ssds from Fi car audio. I was looking for something loud yet retain good sound quality. I first built a box which is 4.5 cubes tuned to 33 hz. I have them hooked up at 1 ohm to a US amps Md2. At first i thought the low end was lacking so i contacted scott and told him and he told me about the copper coils vs the aluminum coils. Well the copper coils made that much of a differnce because i love these subs. They play the lows nicely and get loud. The sound quality could be better. But being that im a bass head it doesnt bother me at all. Compared to a sx which everyone wants to compare them to. I would say they are alike except more musical …
