Ok so everyone keeps telling me to go get the big 3 upgrade done cuz its a pretty simple way to relieve stress from numerous things. Ok so i go to my local shop today to get a quote and learn a lil more about what it takes to do it. The guy comes out and looks at my car and i tell him the 3 wires that i want to upgrade to 0g. so he comes in and starts crunching numbers on his calculator and comes up with a price of $263??? I almost walked out of the store right there haha but all the stuff was good quallity. all was RF power and ground wires and new terminals and rings and the whole 9 yards. but nobody every told me that i would need all this stuff for a big 3 upgrade. Well im not sure what to choose SPL or Daily on a BTL. I want to find a sub that i can Use for Daily and SPL. Does the SPL setting sound like complete ass on music or is it not to bad? Is the daily still pretty good for competing? My woofer is great for daily but not good for competing unless i buy another since its dual 6 ohm. and im a single set up guy. Anyone compete with the daily setting? Anyone listen to music with the SPL setting? thanks

hey guys i need some help. i have a FI BL 15 fully loaded for daily for over a year now, never been pushed to it limit, running on about 1200watts, never turned the gain on the amp past the 75% ish mark and never had the receiver on max volume. it seems that some of the coppering windeings around the coil may have slightly seperated. the copper coil itself looks like brand new still not scorched at all from what i can see. i get no audio at all of the woofer , its just completly dead... : ( i loved that woofer too is there any reason y that would happen..? are there maybe any cheep fixes because unfortunatly i dont have the money to get a replacement at the moment. t…

ok , i have 2 15'' fi btl's and i want to do a 4th order .... i cant remember where i read that btl's are not made or not good for 4th order designs .... its this true?? can somebody explain...

So I get this e-mail saying the status of the order I placed on Nov-30 has changed. The item has shipped. Pretty fhawking cool I thought, and went on my merry way. I figured it'd come some time after X-mas. Later in the day, I was out in the garage getting ready to do an oil change when the FedEx truck pulls up. WTF!? Thanks to Godsmack, I found a new place to go which is much much cheaper than the place i would normally go to and although its longer millage wise, its a short trip time wise and much easie to get to as its in podunk and not the middle of a city. So i set up an appointment for tomorrow.. I just have a couple questions... What tones should I bring? Sine waves or what have you.. And do you guys normally do it with your speaker amp off or on?

my friend has a RF T2 15 2010 model, and my other friend has a JL w7 13, and im going to be a proud owner of the FI BL 15 fully loaded... we were wondering which would be a good quality all around sounding woofer? i prefur FI but i would like to get more opinions on this topic...

First time Fi buyer! Just finished building and installing my new box for my SSD. Everything is ready to go except..... no subwoofer. I was told by Nick within the past two weeks that it would ship around last friday. Status on the website has said "awaiting fulfillment" for the past 16 business days. Just really anxious to get this thing. People say they are definitely worth the wait, but I have never heard one before, and don't want to finally get this thing and be "not so impressed" 2.3 (net) cubes tuned about 35hz with roughly 35 sq.in of port. will be running on a p1000.1bd. hi i'm an old guy, got a fi q15 on an saz 1500d in my suv. my son wants to go to sound comps, so i figured on getting another saz1500d to stap and getting a btl for the weekends. don't need to win but want to at least be competitive enough to keep his interest and make it worth the effort so how much difference will the average user find between the old 2 slug btl and the new 1 slug ? and is the difference enough that i realy should be looking for a one slug. i get that they booth are going to be crazy but on the meter does it matter that much ? i've heard pepole say it wasn't worth upgrading but i don't own either yet . thanks

For people that have purchased products from Fi, particularly there Q 18 D1 with the BP option, how long did it take from purchase to receive your subwoofer.
