Well, my system is 99% percent done. But I need new 2 new 18's due to the fact I smoked my so now I'm looking at BTL's or T3's . 1/2 of my teammates suggest BTL's and the other half suggested T3's so I'm checking both. Here are a few pics of my system. Power supply my powerhouse (4 XX-goliath's) What would be the best configuration for 2 18" dual 2ohm BTL's for burping only! and can they handle10k+ if need to? advice please

Well, as the sub is designed, I installed it in a strictly SQ setup in my 96 Jimmy/Blazer. I am powering one 12" Fi Q sub with a Hifonics BXi 1206D amplifier at 1 ohm (dual 2 ohm sub). So it is receiving a nominal 1200w, but more realistically about 1080 watts. I put it in a 2.8 cube ported box (after displacements) with a 6" round port. Pete over at hexibase.com/forum (user = HexiBase), the same Pete on TTB, helped me design the box specifically for SQ in my specific vehicle. My head unit is a Kenwood eXcelon KDX 589 with all EQ settings at zero (thats what the xover is for). I have the big 3 upgraded with 1/0 wire and then 1/0 wire running inside my frame to the b…

What have we here? Oh Dayumm!!! Something every man dreams of... TWINS!!! okay it's triplets.. but twins are good too. ...more pr0nz I think I'm in love.. Bl's are dual 1ohm flat wound/fully loaded 15's. When finally installed in my TrailBlazer, they will be powered @ 1 ohm off a Hifonics XX-Hercules. The TB has a stock 150 amp alt., an Optima Red Top under the hood and soon to have another in the back. I will be using eD Enetic 1/0 through out, including the big 3. The headunit is an Eclipse CD5000 w/ 8 volt preouts. The speakers in the doors are all stock bose, for now.. Now for the enclosure.. Me and a buddy starting building this beast last night about 10 p.m.…

15 Q - first off i just want to commend the Fi team on a brilliant woofer ... I purchased this woofer during xmas and even with high demand for woofers and xmas orders the shipping was tremendous ... less then 7 days .. with build time A+++ on packaging and shipping ... At the moment i had a 2.5 sealed box that i put the q in order to break in ... since it was really cold i didn't have the space to build a new box ... so i put in this one .. great enclosure ... double baffle ... lovely to say the least .. ne ways ... i put her to my kicker kx1200.1 and let her rip ... gains were set to about a quarter of the way up and u can hear the beast being unleashed ... such a mu…

Picked up the Baltic Birch and stain today. Will start cutting tomorrow and taking pics. Specs will be: 3.2^3 @ 31Hz with 42^2 port, double front bafflor or possibly triple front baffle with recessed driver. Finished box will have a "different" look to it as I have a few ideas I might try out. Only issue so far is that I can only go 15 3/4" tall as that's THE biggest I can fit through the rear seat opening as trunk opening is even smaller. Specs say cutout is 15 5/8", so it's going to be a tight fit top/bottom. GF is VERY excited to hear her new sub and has already requested some front comps to replace the coax's. YES she's a keeper Sub should arrive Wednesday.

So before the crash I had posted a build log of my stuff and it was sweet but that was a long time ago. I started out as pretty much a noob but before I bought anything I read constantly on forum to absorb all possible information so now I am somewhat knowlageable of everything. I started out with my 98 S-10 And I did the big 3 with 4 gauge which was really easy Then I picked up my wires off ebay (used) and i got a Stinger distributer and voltmeter(how exciting) Then I got my amp Hifonics BXI 1606 (Which was actially broken, sent back, and lost by USPS on the way there) Then I played email tag with Scott about a box for my Q 15', and he was awsome enough to make no…

for my next setup im thinking about possibly doing either 2 18" BL's or 2 18" BTL's, i know it would be much easier on my electrical system running two BL's rather than 2 BTL's. but i have a couple questions. first is 2K RMS enough for each fully loaded BL ? second, would a BL get louder on 2K RMS than a BTL ? and third does the BL have better SQ than a BTL ? thanks in advance

I have 2 T20001bd's. Don't know whether to get 2 BTL 15's or BL with options. Which would be better? Overpowering BL's or powering BTL's just right... This will be mainly a bassrace/daily situation.

hey guys just got my Q in today and it looks awesome, great build quality and pretty beefy. Im building a fiberglass enclosure for it in my integra and am trying to decide whether or not i want to give up the space for ported. Anybody with experience have any opinions? is it a world of difference between ported and sealed with this sub? Obviously ported is louder, but a lot? more sq sealed? etc.. thanks for any help

My brother just ordered four fully loaded BL 15s. Let me start with saying they are SWEET!!!! He ordered them with the SPL option, but he will probably listen to them as he goes to and from work. I will assume not at full tilt, but fairly loud. Will the whole world come to an end or will they work for that? Thanks, Lee

First off let me say i'll be totally honest and say i had very low hopes for this sub, as the previous owner had already told me what he thought about it. I bought this sub for the price of $40 dollars form him without a dustcap, contacted Scott and he was kind enough to send me a dustcap for the sub. I tested this sub in a in a sealed off trunk of a 1978 Chevrolet Camaro The test Equipment was: Alpine 9835 kenwood entry level 6.4 coaxials Kenwood entry level 6x9s All speakers inside cabin running from deck power Sub amp MTX 500d ( i know its over the RMS of the sub, buti honestly wanted to see if it would take over the RMS and the only other amps i have are 2k RMS and ab…
