Well its gone by very fast and Ive had this woofer almost a year and it is a great product. I have a JL audio J2 320.4 rear channels pushing this sub so ~160 watts. I have had this ported and now it is sealed. I really love how sealed sounds in my car. This sub will play low notes pretty well and will get plenty loud for me. Overall I would give this sub a 8.5 out of 10 score. Pros: Very musical Very fast response for rock Get plenty loud for me Great build quality not had an issue one with this sub Very versatile in what kind of box you can use Cons: Doesnt play quite low enough but I know why It is a 10" in a sealed box with low power Basket is huge and had to g…

Heey you might remember me, I'm the dumbass who shorted out my coils on a new Fi SSD lmao. What was I thinkin, right?! Anyway I ordered the DVC 1 Ohm recone for the 15" SSD, and wondering if I can get an idear of when it may be getting close to shipping. I understand it is not of top priority and in no way am I trying to rush. We, or rather I, just like to get updates when allowed. Order I-16954/00 dated 10/08/2011 I know it is still soon but any info I can get would be muchly appreciated Btw for those that remember me, that coil rub I was talking about has seemed to work itself out after being wired correctly hahaha. I'm just looking for more powaah! now *reee…

Hi there, basically I would like to know if off of the same amount of power in the same box, and same application, would the Q deliver more output than the SSD? Or just sound more musical? And would the Bl be a step down from the SSD musically? From my understandings the BL is focused more towards output, and the Q is focused more towards the quality of the noise it makes. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I very well may be) Where does the SSD stand other than "all around daily sub" while compared to the Q and the BL.

Hey guys, I'm relatively new to car audio and just put an Alpine CDA-117 and RF t1693 speakers in for the mids and highs in my Dodge Charger. I'm planning on putting a t400-4 or t600-4 amp for my mids and highs and just had a question on the Fi Q because I'm sure virtually everyone reading this has more knowledge on it than I do. If I purchase the Fi Q, to what extent is a good ported box louder then a sealed box? Also, to what extent is the SQ improved by using a good sealed enclosure versus a ported? I need to know this because I'm debating whether I want to purchase the high qts or not. I like the Fi Q because it's right in the RMS range I was looking for (1500w, exc…

Howdy, I returned my defective subwoofer a while back (It was originally order #I-16613/00). I'm just looking for an update on where my subwoofer might be. It was delivered to you guys via UPS on August 26, so I'm just curious if it has been fixed, or maybe if it is on it's way back to me. (Only posted in the forum because you guys seem to respond here much faster than emails) Thanks

Hello there audio enthusiasts! I have a single FiQ 10, stock options except it has the High QTS. I am running it in a sealed box with 0.7 cuft of total volume, minus the Q's 0.12cuft of displacement. Sub Box It is powered by a Alpine MRP-M500, It is a Dual 1 Q with the voice coils in series for 2 Ohms. Ok, this sub is beautiful. I really do like it aesthetically, and it is a terrific sounding sub. My only real complaint is that I can't seem to get any real oomph out of it. I realize it is a SQ, but i have had 90$ subwoofers at a fraction of the power pound louder. When I first installed the sub and amp, I couldn't even get any noise out of it hardly until the amp's gain w…

Alright guys... Im stuck on giving FI audio a shot and seeing what I come up with... I have a 2007 Trailblazer SS with; big 3 4ga upgrade, Alpine DVD hu, 1/0ga power and ground wires, extra battery for power storage, and a 2000w @ 1ohm XX-HERCULES hifonics amp.. From what I've read the amp should be a little underrated. I want a really good sounding set up with the ability to get super loud. Do you guys think I should do 2 12" SSD's running around a 1000w rms a piece or should I step up to 1 sub and push 2000w rms to it? Basically, given the info, what would you guys choose? I'll be using this pretty much daily with the occassional sound competition. Ported enclosure pref…

I currently have a 15in Q (newer style) in my crew cab F250 as a rear console box in 3.65cu tuned at 29hz running on a SAZ-1500v.2. It slams and sounds amazing honestly but I am itching for alittle more as everyone does. I was thinking of maybe removing the rear seats and doing a below window line box for a single 18. Maybe in 8cu or so tuned low again at 29hz or so. I would like to keep my current amp and only switch out the seats to the big box from time to time for fun. How much a difference will this make in output? Would it be worth buying a 18? 18in Q or a 18in BTL N2 either would be ran on my current SAZ 1500 at 1 ohm. Opinions? Current setup

The q is re0rated at 1500watt rms, with the cooling option it says it can add an additional "200-500" depending on install and scenario. I had orginally planned using a saz1500 to power it at 1 ohm. Will I still be able to do this if the sub is running 1500watt, plus the additional wattage from the cooling option?
