Could you recone a FI SSD with a FI Q or BL recone? If so is there any advantage or difference?

I used to get Chris @fishercustoms to do my box designs but their forum is not active much and Im not sure if he still does them. Who else does designs, need for 2 FI BL 18's in a wall in a 2012 scion xb

I was going to oreder a 12' fi sticker for my truck but the shipping is 12.00!!! Why and how is the shipping that much??? Its a 0.76 lb sticker that costs 4 dollars. But 12 to ship somethings not adding up here.

I have a bmw 328xi sedan and im gonna be running a single 12" fi q in a sealed enclosure because i wanted more sq the sub has the high qts option and the heat ring the website says .8-1.5 cu. ft what im wondering is what would be optimum size for the best sq for a wide range of music.

Hi guys I'm planning on starting a new build in my 05 Hyundai Tucson. I would like to run 2 18in btl n2 in a 4th order bandpass no wall for daily use. I've contacted a person to design the box he said that it would be fine ofcourse he's getting payed but I would like to hear what you guys think.

I ran 2 fi bl 18's 3 or 4 years ago off 2 sundown 1500s in like 15 cubes net. Now I am looking at running them again in a scion xb. I have a box already that is 12 cubes net @ 32hz, how well would the bl 18's do in this box off sundown 3500d? Would it be too small, the site says 5-8 cubes each. thanks for any help

I see a lot of people using the SSD to augment their existing home theaters all the time. Is there something that can be done to lower the FS? Maybe a different spider pack or gap adjustment. Thank you for your time and response, Chris

Background: i currently have 1 fi Q12 loaded 2011 model running on a hifonics brutus 1700watt amp in a box that is too small so here is what im planning to do... The Plan: i would like to custom build a box to hold two fi q 12s. right now, its about 4 cuft ported and tuned to 32hz. i can provide tech specs if y'all need but i dont think its necessary for this post. So my buddy has the newest version of the 12" Type R that he wants to upgrade. Here's the details, and hopefully I can give enough info. He has an ONX1.1500. He also has EQ'ing at 30, 45, 60, and I think 80hz. We'll make a ported box, but it'll need to be on the smaller side, maybe 3-3.5ft^3 net. His Type R is tuned to 33hz at ~1.5ft^3 net, I know that's not the only way to judge things, but he may want to go a bit lower on tuning frequency, maybe 28-30hz (this is in a 2000 Explorer btw, and any port frequency opinions for this sub are definitely appreciated). I have 2 fully loaded BL 12's that are dual 2ohm and want to make them dual 1ohm. How hard is it to get them switched over? I have no skill at recone myself so do i need to send that back to FI? They are 3 months new.

Ordered a fi btl 15" fully loaded have a hifonics brz2400.1d I know not the greatest of amps but too much or too little for that sub I know everyone saying the can take more than 2000rms but how much?

i have had 2 10" ssd for almost 2 weeks and the duscap one one of the subs has come unglued. Has anyone else had this problem? i know i could just re glue it but this shouldnt happen after 2 weeks and i havent been beating on them either, i emailed fi but anyone else have any suggestions, i know about CA glue but im not sure what i should do, any help would be great. I was looking at the video on the Technical forum and it said everything is explained on the Technical forum in great detail, but I didn't see anything except that video and I didn't want to skim through and try to find where they mention High Qts. Basically, I have a truck and I can fit 6" mounting depth subwoofers in my sealed box. The Fi SSD 10 already requires the low space of .2-.6 cubes so what exactly does the High Qts option do?

Reconing my 15's to 18's. Plan on using 6 spoke 18" baskets, linear roll spiders, not set on cones and possibly a coil with a slightly bigger WW. Any possible issues I might see? Suggestions comments?

I am looking to run 4 12" BL subs in my SUV and was wondering what would be the best tuning and internal volume for an enclosure that size? Also would it be better with subs up and ports firing back? I will be running 2 Rockford Fosgate 2500-1bdcp amps on this set up.

Hi im looking at getting two 15in btl n2's. Just wondering what kinda battery i should upgrade to, and if i should have it in the back or under the hood. what kind of alternator would be good to upgrade to, i seen power bastards and dc power. Does ur alternator volts have to match your battery voltage.

Ive been looking into a sp4 18 and have a few questions, hoping to find somone on the fourms instead of flooding fi with emails atm. Would running a cresendo 3500 to a single 18 sp4 at .7 be to much? Also how many cubes should i go with with 1 18 on 3500 tuned to 32hz. I would be getting the sub with all the opitions also if that makes a differnce in power handling. Thanks guys!!

Ive got a Kicker KX600.1 that I'd like to pair with a 10" SSD to avoid purchasing another amp. The amp specs are RMS Power at 2 Ohms 600 W x 1 RMS Power at 4 Ohms 300 W x 1 Opinions on this vs getting something for the 1000rms rating of the 10" SSD

I am thinking about putting an FI Q 15 in a 2 cubic foot sealed box. I think that this size is on the bottom as far as recommended. Does anyone know how well the FI Q performs when it comes to small boxes like this?
