Yep. Topic says it all. I've basically just ran all the wires and installed the head unit (25'th anniversary Alpine). The Tara Labs RCA's are the absolute $hit. Ask Hoss, he was here today. Anyway, on with the pics. The pics may not show up in order (it sorts them alphabetically I think) but you can get the idea.

I had two Pioneer Championship PRO (TS-W3003D4) 12" subs (600watt RMS each) on a Hifonics Zeus 1200 watt amp wired at 1 Ohm in my 02 Tahoe. It was pretty powerful, but I still would like a little more punch in the chest, so I'm now thinking about maybe going with 3 Kicker Comp-VRs and a better amp, OR maybe if there are more powerful 12"s with the right amp combination. I'm at a point where I'm ready to take this seriously now. What brands or whatnot would I need?

Well I'm bout to run 2 12" titaniums in my house for my boom box. But I will run them in my truck until I get my new wall built. Anybody heard bad things about these? I know about the surround issue but anything else?

So I need some testimonials. I've read most of the threads related to them on here, I just want MORE! nah not too much. I've just gotta nut up and do it. I'm thinking about putting a 15D2 in a 3.0-3.5 cubic foot ported box, one tune to 32 hz or so, another to 45 or so. How much port area does this sub like? Also, I'm a fan of quick, tight bass. Will this setup deliver for me? I'm forward-facing it in my trunk, and sealing off behind it. I was just a little worried because the group delay is 2.5 times that of my current setup of four sealed flat cone ED 12K's. And the Le on the D2 seems high, but does it make a difference if the sub is wired in series or parallel? …

im looking for a new sub, and just found out about stereo integrity subs. they seem great and i would probably try one out if it can be put into my subbox. the thing is that its just 0.8 cft big. thats without a driver. would it be terrible to put that 12" sub into this box??? btw: its a sealed box, and it would be powered by a phoenix gold ZPA 0.5 (about 1000+ watts)

  9. I have about 1200 watts to work with and 1.1 cu.ft. of airspace per woofer. I'm looking for 2 12's that will do great with minimum airspace. My box is 2.2cu.ft. tuned to 32hz and i am not going to go with a one sub setup simply because of the cone area and i was wondering what you guys suggest.

im thinking of getting 2 mag 2d 15's for my van I want SQ mostly listen to metal and rock so kick drum and bass guitar is important. size doesnt matter got most of the back of my hiace to fill up. so what size enclosure, ported/sealed, tuning, power ect. and maybe any nice amps you guys know of. I was thinking of getting 4, what you guys think of that? a waste of time? just thinking that if sealed is better for SQ then just get more subs for more spl. money isnt an issue. not buying right now but gota plan and see how much i need to save. and if you wouldnt mind could you explain tuning an enclosure for me i dont have a clue about it. thanks.

I am looking for some suggestions on subs to replace the two Eclipse SW8100 series 12's I have now. Here is what I have: Kenwood DNX-7100 Audio Control Matrix Audio Control EQS Boston Acoustics ProSeries 6.0 (front) Powered by US Amps USA-4300x @ 3Ohm Bridged. Is this a good box layout? Also it will be run off of 2 crescendo bc2000d's at 2 ohms then for shows .5 a piece strapped! Don't worry the electrical will be present when I throw them in.

Of these, which would you prefer? Will be running 2 sets on the front of my DLS Ultimate A5. Wont be a ton of power so it will definately need to be efficient. I would like clear sound, good midbass, and definately as loud as possible. This is the rating of my amp, and with 2 comp sets each channel will be at 2 ohms, so around 50rms per speaker. 4 ohms: 85 watts x 2 chan. + 300 watts x 1 sub chan. 2 ohms: 100 watts x 2 chan. + 500 watts x 1 sub chan. These are some of the options I was looking at. What would you pick? Speaker choices and poll us up at ca.com. http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=410377

So I was going to purchase a Xcon recone but it occured to me to double check compatability. Since I know designs have changed in the last few years with certain subs. I had to go through all my posts/thread topics to find it since I know I didn't order it directly through the store/website since it was special order. Turns out I purchased my Xcon back in 2011. Would the current recone work for my sub?

So...I need new door panels. I figure while I've got those off, I might as well sound deaden the doors. Then, I figure I might as well upgrade my coaxials to components 80wpc to the Boston FX6's just isn't cutting it anymore... My criteria: * 2 ohm impedance preferred. * At 2 ohms stereo, my PG Tantrum 500.2 does 250W/side. * Going to be mounting the tweet in the A-pillar trim...I prefer the sound of silks over metals...at least for all the ones I've auditioned. * The mid is going in the stock door location, with a 6.5" cutout...I don't know the max. mounting depth as of yet, but the FX6's are 2 1/8" inches deep. So that fits without a problem. * I listen to a lot of cla…

I just picked up a set a focal components and was wondering what the seasoned guys on here would suggest. My problem is i dont have room to build large pods outside the doors to house the 6.5. Could i use like a 6 inch pvc pipe and seal up the back side of it and glass up a front baffle to mount to the door skin at the factory location. I have about 7 inches between the outer and inner door skins and no window interference. I want the best sound out of these without building pods outside the door panel. Is this going to be enought volume or should i go a different route. Thanks guys.

  22. Simple question; without breaking the bank on super high power mids and highs, would front speakers mounted in door (one pair only) be able to keep up with a 4- 15's wall? Wall is on 2k rms, Kicker CVX's. My friend doesn't want to build pods, and I can't tell him my opinion, being a state away. I think his budget for a pair is $400. I'm pretty sure he just doesn't want to put in the work building them lol.

Im planning on doing a very budget build for my santa fe. Space isnt a issue for what i want i have plenty of room. Im looking to do a build with 2 Hds200 15's and will have about 2500watts on tap & before rise & voltage drop(dont feed me the go to a different sub stuff please). I looked at the SQ website but i just gives a vague information on the enclosure sizes for the subs, also the port info is given in slot ports. Im just trying to gather info for these subs and determine a good size enclosure for them as well as the port(in aeros). Any info that you guys have for them or experience with them is much appreciated. What im aiming for is a good mix of daily a…

HDC4 15.. Yes I know coil smell is not good at all but I am breaking these subs in with power now.. I first broke them in for a week with a nendo 2k at 20hz half power.. They are now on a CT sounds 7k. The amp is DD1'd and the subs bang really hard.. But I am smelling coil smell when i am at the DD1 max volume set. after a few minutes.. I back down the volume as soon as I smell it and have recently turned the gain down a bit more.. Just curious how long I will smell this during the subs break in period.. They are wired @1ohm also.. so I know I am not overpowering the subs at all.. There is barely 3k going to them.. Opinions?
