hey guys, i was wanting to install my jl speakers buttt i had a question i know u guys can help me out with. my stock speaker size is 6x8 in front and back. up front, i have the jl 6.5s and im doing tweeters up in the pillar up front. then in back is where my problem begins, the speakers are 6x9s and the hole is for a 6x8 so how much if any will i have to cut out to make them fit?

OK so i am going to put a 18" btl in the rear deck of my 96 impala ss and was wondering how many 6" aero tube would enough for one 18". And how many for two 18" btl's i plan to put both in the rear deck and trying to see if i have enough area. any help would be great

This would be alright for a 12" Mag?? I know someone said they had their 12 mag in the same size box and it was alright, just wanted to make sure.

ok um, is there something wrong with WinISD or what? ive tried the 12 inch and 15 inch magnum in there and for the 15 its telling me an F3 in the low 40's? that cant be right. i ask beuae ive heard people say thi happens in winisd

So, I recently bought a 98 ford ranger, and the space is ridiculous. Tiniest truck ever, but I love it. Right now, I'm running a old beat up 12" audiobahn, which I hate. I've been looking at subs that will fit, and the audiobahn in the box is slightly pushing it. It has a mounting depth of about 5 1/2", and I know the 187 is around that, so it seems like a good sub while saving space. Now, I can find reviews on the 12's, and 15's, but has anyone had personal experience with the 10"? built the box yesterday, didnt carpet the sides because I ran out of spray adhesive. I did all the work, played with the gain and xover on the amp for a while listening to a bunch of different music, and I think what happened was a combo of me going slightly deaf, the amp getting hot and starting to lose effieciency, maybe voltage dropping, and the sub not being broken in yet, because I thought it was pretty good but when I put the seat back up it didnt seem loud at all. so I basically went inside a little depressed that it wasnt an improvement over the old setup. met my girl when she got off work (its her car) and I told her that I wasnt satisfied and Id buy her another …

I have an opportunity to buy TWO practically new T2d412 in box for 600. I know they go for over 500 new not including the box. I also know they are spl subs. My question is a. Is there any reason I shouldnt get them b. Has anyone had experience with the newer model t2s and if so are they musical AT ALL?

I was comin home today and why Mag stopped hittin so I was like WTF. I went and took it out of my box and the Cone came detached from the Spider. So I guess I should contact SI now or does any1 else have any suggestions. Does SI have a phone number I can call? How much do you think it will cost to fix? I don't have a camera for a pic cause I bet that would help. Plz help me.

Does anybody know the exact cutout for the Zcon 18"? I will be using a Jasper jig on my router. I know it says 16.75" but I thought I heard it was a bit smaller? They are not here yet and I need to cut my baffles. Thanks.
