i was just thinking the re comps and xxx mids are so exspensive couldn't i just buy 2 8' sub and throw in thier. hmm i think i answered my own question. but ur feedback is appreiated.

So I am looking for a sub that could fit my needs. I need something around a 6" mounting depth as that would give me just over 1.5" of backspacing. I was planning for 4 sa 10's but my box wouldn't allow for it. My max dimensions for the box are 27-H x58-W x9.5-D1 x6.12.5-D2. Any help would be great.

Has anyone had experience with these? I have read that the scs line is the ones to get if any but was wondering what people have to say about the components in general. Will be most likely looking at the 5.25" comp set possibly a 6.5" set.

how much is a rockford fosgate 12'' Hx2 motor and basket worth? i found one for sell and they want $75. i found a recone kit for it. is it worth $75 though?

Hi All, Would like some advice from those who have heard them. I have a sealed box that has appx .75 cubes after displacement. It has to be sealed and I prefer sealed anyhow. I put two Sundown SA-10's in there (yes I know they are better ported but my son has sa-12's sealed and sound great) but they just aren't doing it. Maybe some of it is because I'm used to my son's 12's but it seems like the 10's aren't hitting all the frequencies. They sound amazing with certain songs but not so great with others. In optimum enclosures ported around 33hz, off of about 2000rms in an extended cab ranger, which would have the potential to get louder, 2 Icon 15's or 1 Zcon 18.

I dont want shit from anybody In output does an Icon match up to a BL when hooked up to a Saz-1000D I dont care about quality i jus want to know about volume. Ive never heard an Icon so i dont know how it would stack up.

I am looking to buy a SSA DCON 12" sub. Is there anyone in the Dallas, Texas area that sells and stocks SSA subs? I am in Louisiana and Dallas is about 200 miles from me but I am going this weekend. I have called numerous shops there and no one that I have spoken with sells SSA. One shop had an Icon logo on their website and they said they were not familiar with the SSA DCON. I have an RE SR 15" that I acquired in a trade on CA.com and I was wondering if I could put ~400-~500WRMS safely to it, with out burning up the coils? It's a 2.65Ft^3 box tuned to 35Hz, and I was thinking it would get a little louder off of 300WRMS than what it did.

I have a 2002 Trailblazer and just got an AQ2200D. Which of these subs would be best for me to put with this amp? Any better recommendations in that price range will be appreciated as well.I am wanting it for music and not competitions but still looking to get pretty loud. Thanks for the help

Well I want to try my Fi Q10 in a ported box to see if I can sqeeze a littel more output out of it but don't really know where to start. It is in a S10 ext cab and I don't what to take up the whole back seat and keeping the sound quality I have now in a .6ft^3 box is a must. I was thinking of using tubes for ports instead of a slot port but I am open to anything. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike B.

the polymids at 3.5khz?

I am currently running two 12" JL w3s in my car and I am planning on upgrading. I want to be able to hit lower frequencies and have louder bass. I was looking at buying 2 13.5" JL w6s when I discovered Fi's subwoofers. I have watched a few videos and searched online and I was hoping that someone here could give me some advice. I was going to get a ported box and whatever amps and wiring necessary to make the subs sound good. What will have better sound quality and what will be louder overall? 1 12" Fi BTL or 2 13.5" JL w6s?

I am having a problem finding the right amp for my 1 image dynamic 15 idq dual 2ohm subwoofer. I want about 600 watts rms at 4ohms mono. I looking at a us amp ax600, and a kicker sx600.2 right now. I also like orion and mtx as well but not sure which amp to go with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Hey guys whats up. I'm selling the Exploder and getting an Accord coupe. I want to do an IB setup...I'm moving away from the SPL deal. I am starting to crave more SQ. Possible drivers I was thinking about were: 1. single ED 19Ov.2 (already have) 2. two Exodus Audio TempestX 3. four ED 13Kv.2 (on sale right now) Not really sure about what else. I really want to do two 15 inch subs...I'm thinking it should get pretty low and have decent SPL. Also need some advice about midbass...I was thinking about making some 8" kickpods lol.

I'm familiar with the braxial speaker system from CDT, and that's what I want for some rear fill. Are the CDT's any good? Are there other brands that have models with the same format? I'd like to have the tweeter mountable on the mid so that it all fits in the factory door spot, but I want to be able to adjust the tweeter. I almost always have to dial the tweeters down to -3db for my preferences. Hence the reason I don't just want coaxials. There's a chance I could do regular components and just put the tweeter next to the mid, but I'd like to see about this first. I'd also preferrably not like to pay the $450 that they want for the CDT HD braxials.

I'm really curious to see what the Le of an 12" XCON is. My heart has been set on an AE AV-X driver for the longest time, but i keep coming back to SSA and ponder if I should just get the XCON. I don't have an amp yet, it all depends on what driver I decide on getting. My hesitation comes from getting a high xmax driver. Every one I have purchased has such a high Le that they typically never exceed 63hz. yes, I know I could beef up my front stage, but it would require a lot of modification to either fit a larger driver, or another driver. i have an 06 Trailblazer so I have the space, but I would like to keep it as a sealed enclosure. I think I am going to run either two 15" Audiopulse Revos or 4 12" AP Epics. What do you all think? Any other suggestions? Either will PROBABLY be run sealed off of a zx2500.1.

Whats up peeps. Im in the market to upgrade my current system (well atleast the sub). Running a 15"FiQ, 3.5cuft 30hz, off a crossfire vr1000d. I love my sub SQ is great and hits suprisingly hard for an SQ sub, just that the output level just isnt cutting it anymore. I'm going to attempt my first door pods. There not going to be down low and the bottom of the door like most. Mine will be up a little higher. My question is, whats the best way to face them??? Should they (6.5" mid & 1" tweet RE's RE comp set) both (pass & driver) be angle up towards me? Or the one on the pass. side angled towards me, and driver towards the pass.? :confused: Or what other suggestions would you recommend?
