the polymids at 3.5khz?

I'm familiar with the braxial speaker system from CDT, and that's what I want for some rear fill. Are the CDT's any good? Are there other brands that have models with the same format? I'd like to have the tweeter mountable on the mid so that it all fits in the factory door spot, but I want to be able to adjust the tweeter. I almost always have to dial the tweeters down to -3db for my preferences. Hence the reason I don't just want coaxials. There's a chance I could do regular components and just put the tweeter next to the mid, but I'd like to see about this first. I'd also preferrably not like to pay the $450 that they want for the CDT HD braxials.

I plan on buying the DCON to put in the trunk of my sons car. It will be powered by an Alpine MRP-M500. I have the recommended specs for the ported box. My question is does any one have a top firing and top port box plan for this sub? I plan on cutting holes in the rear deck to allow sound from the trunk to enter the cabin area. Any other Jetta folks out there with any ideas on the best way to get sound into the cabin with the rear seats closed?

Was wondering if anyone knows which 6.5s would sound better. by better i mean the most Clarity at High & Loud volumes, without alot of distortion, the Alpine Type R's or the JL audio C2s

I have an RE SR 15" that I acquired in a trade on CA.com and I was wondering if I could put ~400-~500WRMS safely to it, with out burning up the coils? It's a 2.65Ft^3 box tuned to 35Hz, and I was thinking it would get a little louder off of 300WRMS than what it did.

What do you guys think of Diamond audio for component 6 1/2'' s? Also about there 12'' subs?

Well I want to try my Fi Q10 in a ported box to see if I can sqeeze a littel more output out of it but don't really know where to start. It is in a S10 ext cab and I don't what to take up the whole back seat and keeping the sound quality I have now in a .6ft^3 box is a must. I was thinking of using tubes for ports instead of a slot port but I am open to anything. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike B.

Has anyone had experience with these? I have read that the scs line is the ones to get if any but was wondering what people have to say about the components in general. Will be most likely looking at the 5.25" comp set possibly a 6.5" set.

hey guys, i've been trying to figure out what to do and i'm hoping you guys can help me out. i've been on the fence for the past few months trying to decide which pair of subwoofers i should get for my new set up and i've narrowed it down to two choices, but i can't decide which one to go with. my choices are either 2 Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection 12'' or 2 AudioQue SDC2.512. the crappy thing is i'm in Canada so its tough to find the subs to demo in person. now from what i've read online about reviews for each sub they both seem to be awesome. they both cost about the same. both do 600rms/1200peak though i've read that people have given them both more with no worr…

Whats up peeps. Im in the market to upgrade my current system (well atleast the sub). Running a 15"FiQ, 3.5cuft 30hz, off a crossfire vr1000d. I love my sub SQ is great and hits suprisingly hard for an SQ sub, just that the output level just isnt cutting it anymore. Thought about adding another Q but space is somewhat an issue, dont want to cram dual 15's and not get the most out of them. So im looking for a replacement. I want to stick to a single sub setup. I have a 2002 Trailblazer and just got an AQ2200D. Which of these subs would be best for me to put with this amp? Any better recommendations in that price range will be appreciated as well.I am wanting it for music and not competitions but still looking to get pretty loud. Thanks for the help

I think I am going to run either two 15" Audiopulse Revos or 4 12" AP Epics. What do you all think? Any other suggestions? Either will PROBABLY be run sealed off of a zx2500.1.

I am having a problem finding the right amp for my 1 image dynamic 15 idq dual 2ohm subwoofer. I want about 600 watts rms at 4ohms mono. I looking at a us amp ax600, and a kicker sx600.2 right now. I also like orion and mtx as well but not sure which amp to go with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

99 Grand Marquis has no rear door speakers. Should I change out all the factory speakers with components or put comps in front doors and 4 6.5 or 6x9 coaxals in rear deck. Or put 4 6.5 comps in rear deck.

So what size speaker wire should I use to go from my sub to sub box? Also what size should I use to go from my sub box to amp. I am getting a 12" Lethal Injection and a Sundown Audio SAE-1200D. Thanks in advance. Jeremy

I dont want shit from anybody In output does an Icon match up to a BL when hooked up to a Saz-1000D I dont care about quality i jus want to know about volume. Ive never heard an Icon so i dont know how it would stack up.

I am currently running two 12" JL w3s in my car and I am planning on upgrading. I want to be able to hit lower frequencies and have louder bass. I was looking at buying 2 13.5" JL w6s when I discovered Fi's subwoofers. I have watched a few videos and searched online and I was hoping that someone here could give me some advice. I was going to get a ported box and whatever amps and wiring necessary to make the subs sound good. What will have better sound quality and what will be louder overall? 1 12" Fi BTL or 2 13.5" JL w6s?

Hi All, Would like some advice from those who have heard them. I have a sealed box that has appx .75 cubes after displacement. It has to be sealed and I prefer sealed anyhow. I put two Sundown SA-10's in there (yes I know they are better ported but my son has sa-12's sealed and sound great) but they just aren't doing it. Maybe some of it is because I'm used to my son's 12's but it seems like the 10's aren't hitting all the frequencies. They sound amazing with certain songs but not so great with others.
