Subwoofers / Speakers

Both 12" in sealed boxes. SQ? Ability to sound good with 1200w for two drivers. Both subs seem awesome to me, I have been looking at adire because of the xbl tech. Brahma is a little more $. ahh I wish I could listen to them myself. Compare some of these side by side.

I'm buying a pair of FI N3's and can't find any info on them as far as enclosure size or any specs in general. Can't search since it's 4 letter minimum search so any info on them will be greatly appreciated. I'm undecided on wether they will be built into 15's or 18's, depending on how much box volume they require. Thanks guys

Guys i need help alot of it I think im sold on 4 mj 18s the price is great and i wanna make ppls jaws drop when they see it I have a 92 caprice wagon 47x40x21" to work with (i cant go a lil more than 40 if needed i want to keep my spare tire in the back) Okay First how can i do it I was gonna run 14 cubes in a clamshell design tuned to 28 hz or just doing sub up port back what would the best option i was realy set on the clam shell i like having the subs face me Like a wall Let me know thans

got my mj18 installed, just no decent power to push it, using a pioneer gm-5200t FTL. thinking of buying a punch 150 25 to life, any one know if they are able to push what the birthsheets say? (1000w)

hey i just wanted to get the word out there about my system getting jacked and if you could keep your eyes peeled for a weird discription of the sub where there is no name and no identifying marks on them they are the first gen of 15s i am gonna kill some one soon but the seller shoudl be in iowa i woudl asume NW corner any info woudl be a huge help and anyone that wants to help kill them is more than welcome

I decided to go with 2 12" SI Mag but i have limited trunk space because i have a Civic. Does anyone think i could 2 mags in a ported box hittin to their full potetial, the box will be tuned to 32 Hz if that helps, in my Civic. Ive never built a box and im pretty new to car audio but i know someone who's gonna help me build the box.

I'm sure everyone here has had those times when they just get bored and wanna try a different set-up. It's hit me too. Right now I have a 15" Mag D2 in a 3.25 ported enclosure powered by a Hifonics 1205d (putting out about 1000wrms@1ohm). I am trying to get rid of the mag to try a different set-up, I wanted to do 2-12's. I will have around $220-240 to work with, but if i can get away cheaper I will. i know the rms is 1000w but how would they do with 600wrms? im want to go with 2 10's off my RE12.1 and seen these look pretty promiseing. also can i get them in dvc4? or would 1 12 do better with all 1200wrms than 2 10's with 600 each?

Just looking for opinions on these components. I have searched all over and can't really find any reviews. Just checking on here to see if anyone has heard a pair. I'm sure they have decent mid-bass just by looking by the design.

Thought I’d share a few pics of the DCON’s I was originally running. The original subs we used in the Traverse after I got the rest of the system installed. They were originally ran on a Zapco Z-1KD but after a fateful incident with an open sunroof during a rain storm it had to be replaced. I had an Arc Audio XDi 2000 sitting in the closet and the only amp I had that remotely fit in the amp rack. The DCON’s were dual 4 ohm and wired to 1 ohm on the Zapco for a very reasonable 1,000 watts to the pair of 400wrms rated subs. Which would be better a 12" Mass Destruction Napalm or a 15" Kicker L7. I already have the L7 im just wondering. Theres someone on this forum who has 2 i might just try to get 1. All opinions appreciated. The mdn would be ran off the same amp as my L7 a kx1200.1.

i've been running my magnum with about 800w for the last couple weeks, and its just dying for more power. i am having a new box designed, and i was thinking of buying a 1500bd. now obviously i dont wanna wire the sub to 4ohm, as i will have the same power as now, but i wanna wire it to 1ohm, so im looking at 1600w rms+ (assuming the amp is fine at 1ohm, which i've heard it should be) i will probably have it scoped and setup the gains so it makes around 1.5k which i think is reasonable for a daily drive what i wanna know is what is the maximum i can give it for a daily drive? i probably wont risk anything over 1.5k, but is anyone running more than that?? thanks in advance

Im tryin to see how come the mag will be to 2 12" pioneer ts w3000spl's. the mag will b in a 2 cubic box tuned to 32 running off a sundown saz1500d the pioneers are in a jeep cherokee in a 3.5 cubic box tuned to 36 running off a crunch 1500 Just tryin to see if the mag will be able to compare to the poneers. Which ones would get louder and lower and better sq?

Hi everyone. First time post here. Long story short, I was really into CA back in the day. Got out of it for about a decade and now I'm back into it. So, I'm thinking of purchasing a set of the Bravox CS603CF to run as front stage and a pair of the CX60CF to run in the back doors of my Mazda 6 wagon. I plan to run them passive with the midbass of the 603 set in the stock location, the tweeter in the stock a-pillar location. If possible, I plan to make some type of bridge to mount the midrange over - or possibly next to - the midbass depending on how much room I have. finally ported the 12" magnum 2 cubes to 30hz. im loving it, it gets nasty loud and sounds even better i think than sealed. I have it running off the viper d1200.1. More and more people ask me about recone kits. They don't know where or how to order (they don't speak English !). I've tried PAP for a Soundstream XXX18", and the owner was ot happy with it. I've tried PSI for another SS XXX 18", and so far so good the owner is happy (he did 150.ish last week end; with one sub). But he does not play very often. Just received another one for a Lanzar opti 15". Lot of people say PSI parts are bad, like PAP, and It is difficult to order something custom from Fi. Where do you order your recone kits ? I'm looking for a good manufacturer. I don't want any more problem with my "customers". What other choices do I have ? Thanks for your help.

I am looking for a 12" sub. Kinda on a budget. Willing to spend about 220 per sub. I just want the BEST bang for my buck. What do you guys suggest? Thanks

Has anyone used these subs and if so what size ported enclosure have you guys been building for them i have talked to a couple different shops and have gotten several different answers but none of them are close to the same i have made my mind up that these are the subs that i am goign to use bu ti jus tneed to know what size ported box to build for them I really dont want to waste wood ecperimenting with different boxes and how much power have people been using on them I have also have heard several different answers on that as well some ahve said they put aton of power to them and some say be conservative if anyone had any info please let me know.

I've decided to finally install my RE 6.5's after having them for about a year. I have been waiting to take some time off of work, but I haven't since last June so I took two whole weeks off . I tried two different methods for laying the molds. I first tried using painters tape to tape off the whole area for the drivers kick, when removing the mold taking off the tape seemed to be a pain and took forever to get off, not to mention the fact that all the tack on the tape came off on my hands and is still there 4 hours later. For the passenger kick I did the Foil method where I just taped off the edges, this went much faster than laying down 30 strips of tape. Also when th…

I have two 18'' zcons now and i have the stetsom 14k.... I have the astro van so the room is there but do i really NEED two more 18's? I know I WANT two more 18's but do I need to spend the money......

Well I made an impulse trade today and decided to trade my Fi BL. I picked up 2 JL Audio W6's for the BL. So far they sound very good and the difference in SQ between the BL and the W6 is not even close. Overall I'm pretty happy with these subs, and I will have more to say about them when I get a box built for them. I will probably send these bad boys to PSI to get them upgraded too

I have 2 MJM 18s and they are in a 12 cube 32 hz box oriented like this okay im wondering if it will help at all like this I didnt account for the Double baffle and the 3/4 sheet under the box to get it off my wires, and make it easy to move when i need to. its about 3-4" away from the roof, and i swear all the sounds going outta the car LOL, So will that help or hurt me BTW its in this
