hey i just wanted to get the word out there about my system getting jacked and if you could keep your eyes peeled for a weird discription of the sub where there is no name and no identifying marks on them they are the first gen of 15s i am gonna kill some one soon but the seller shoudl be in iowa i woudl asume NW corner any info woudl be a huge help and anyone that wants to help kill them is more than welcome

got my mj18 installed, just no decent power to push it, using a pioneer gm-5200t FTL. thinking of buying a punch 150 25 to life, any one know if they are able to push what the birthsheets say? (1000w)

I decided to go with 2 12" SI Mag but i have limited trunk space because i have a Civic. Does anyone think i could 2 mags in a ported box hittin to their full potetial, the box will be tuned to 32 Hz if that helps, in my Civic. Ive never built a box and im pretty new to car audio but i know someone who's gonna help me build the box.

i know the rms is 1000w but how would they do with 600wrms? im want to go with 2 10's off my RE12.1 and seen these look pretty promiseing. also can i get them in dvc4? or would 1 12 do better with all 1200wrms than 2 10's with 600 each?

I'm sure everyone here has had those times when they just get bored and wanna try a different set-up. It's hit me too. Right now I have a 15" Mag D2 in a 3.25 ported enclosure powered by a Hifonics 1205d (putting out about 1000wrms@1ohm). I need help choosing a spl/ daily. I'm going to be hooking up 2 15"s to a saz3500. I was going to go with btl but I dnt know about their new btls. I want to compete in small events here like texas heatwave but it will be my daily driver. I have looked at some dc level 5 and some re audio. Wat do you guys think I should get? Also thinkin about the aa mayhems or smds but I dnt know how they will do in spl lane

Just looking for opinions on these components. I have searched all over and can't really find any reviews. Just checking on here to see if anyone has heard a pair. I'm sure they have decent mid-bass just by looking by the design.

Thought I’d share a few pics of the DCON’s I was originally running. The original subs we used in the Traverse after I got the rest of the system installed. They were originally ran on a Zapco Z-1KD but after a fateful incident with an open sunroof during a rain storm it had to be replaced. I had an Arc Audio XDi 2000 sitting in the closet and the only amp I had that remotely fit in the amp rack. The DCON’s were dual 4 ohm and wired to 1 ohm on the Zapco for a very reasonable 1,000 watts to the pair of 400wrms rated subs. Which would be better a 12" Mass Destruction Napalm or a 15" Kicker L7. I already have the L7 im just wondering. Theres someone on this forum who has 2 i might just try to get 1. All opinions appreciated. The mdn would be ran off the same amp as my L7 a kx1200.1.

i've been running my magnum with about 800w for the last couple weeks, and its just dying for more power. i am having a new box designed, and i was thinking of buying a 1500bd. now obviously i dont wanna wire the sub to 4ohm, as i will have the same power as now, but i wanna wire it to 1ohm, so im looking at 1600w rms+ (assuming the amp is fine at 1ohm, which i've heard it should be) i will probably have it scoped and setup the gains so it makes around 1.5k which i think is reasonable for a daily drive what i wanna know is what is the maximum i can give it for a daily drive? i probably wont risk anything over 1.5k, but is anyone running more than that?? thanks in advance

I was set on buying some SA12s and a sundown 1200d, until I saw Lethal injections on sale here for 151 each. Which ones are better, SA12 or LI12??? I like low end bass on rap songs. I built a box for the SA12s, would the LI12s fit in 3.2ft at 30hz? I'm terrible with decision making when it comes to buying something!

Im tryin to see how come the mag will be to 2 12" pioneer ts w3000spl's. the mag will b in a 2 cubic box tuned to 32 running off a sundown saz1500d the pioneers are in a jeep cherokee in a 3.5 cubic box tuned to 36 running off a crunch 1500 Just tryin to see if the mag will be able to compare to the poneers. Which ones would get louder and lower and better sq?

More and more people ask me about recone kits. They don't know where or how to order (they don't speak English !). I've tried PAP for a Soundstream XXX18", and the owner was ot happy with it. I've tried PSI for another SS XXX 18", and so far so good the owner is happy (he did 150.ish last week end; with one sub). But he does not play very often. Just received another one for a Lanzar opti 15". Lot of people say PSI parts are bad, like PAP, and It is difficult to order something custom from Fi. Where do you order your recone kits ? I'm looking for a good manufacturer. I don't want any more problem with my "customers". What other choices do I have ? Thanks for your help.

Has anyone used these subs and if so what size ported enclosure have you guys been building for them i have talked to a couple different shops and have gotten several different answers but none of them are close to the same i have made my mind up that these are the subs that i am goign to use bu ti jus tneed to know what size ported box to build for them I really dont want to waste wood ecperimenting with different boxes and how much power have people been using on them I have also have heard several different answers on that as well some ahve said they put aton of power to them and some say be conservative if anyone had any info please let me know.

Hi everyone. First time post here. Long story short, I was really into CA back in the day. Got out of it for about a decade and now I'm back into it. So, I'm thinking of purchasing a set of the Bravox CS603CF to run as front stage and a pair of the CX60CF to run in the back doors of my Mazda 6 wagon. I plan to run them passive with the midbass of the 603 set in the stock location, the tweeter in the stock a-pillar location. If possible, I plan to make some type of bridge to mount the midrange over - or possibly next to - the midbass depending on how much room I have. I've decided to finally install my RE 6.5's after having them for about a year. I have been waiting to take some time off of work, but I haven't since last June so I took two whole weeks off . I tried two different methods for laying the molds. I first tried using painters tape to tape off the whole area for the drivers kick, when removing the mold taking off the tape seemed to be a pain and took forever to get off, not to mention the fact that all the tack on the tape came off on my hands and is still there 4 hours later. For the passenger kick I did the Foil method where I just taped off the edges, this went much faster than laying down 30 strips of tape. Also when th…

finally ported the 12" magnum 2 cubes to 30hz. im loving it, it gets nasty loud and sounds even better i think than sealed. I have it running off the viper d1200.1. I have 2 MJM 18s and they are in a 12 cube 32 hz box oriented like this okay im wondering if it will help at all like this I didnt account for the Double baffle and the 3/4 sheet under the box to get it off my wires, and make it easy to move when i need to. its about 3-4" away from the roof, and i swear all the sounds going outta the car LOL, So will that help or hurt me BTW its in this

Yes I have a audiopipe 1800 watt amp and 2 12" alpine type r subs the are 1800 watts peak and 600 watts rms at 2 ohm and I was told this amp was to powerful for my subs just need help in adjusting the leveles so I don't blow them any suggestions or help I highly appricate it thanks

I'm about to start a wall build in my 2000 plymouth neon with 2-18" zcons. They will have about 14cu net for the pair and I plan to tune low 30s. My question is how much port do these guys like? Normally I would use 14-16sq per cu but I've never used ssa before so I thought I'd ask and see if anyone knows what these subs like. Thanks for any help.
