which sub do u guys think is louder? both in there optimal boxes with rms power going to each in the same vehicle. iv been watching video on both and it got me thiinking

well my buddy bought the solo x 10's for 350 plus 75 shipping. he ran into major car troubles and asked if i wanted them for 300 no questions asked lol. im sure most of u know i totaled this chicks car a few days ago and have fines to pay SO i sat down with the parents and they agreed to lend me the cash for them ( thank god) i have to pay back $50 per week plus $10 a week intrest so its not all that bad. so i got the solo x's for $360. iv sold my mtx 1501d ( got it fixed) and am using the money from that for a 220 amp alternator. ill also be getting 2 optima yellow tops in the back.so now the big question... the subs are dual 1 ohm, so would i have to get 2 zx 1500.1's,…

anyone have experience with these looking for how they react to port area do they like a lot or little ? i was thinking about running 2 of them in 2cube each box tuned to 34 or 33 htz with 2 4 in flared ports but using the aero ports 4in its either 2 which is like 6.25port area per cube or 3 which is 9.30 port area per cube Any advice will be welcome thanks reggie

So today I was all set to order my crescendo 2000 . I had planned on a single xcon 15..... anyways. My wife needed me to run to the store and right when I was leaving a person accepted an offer on a mmats 3500.1. Now I have no plan. Are there any 15 subs that run on 2750 daily and can play in a 3cf box?

Does anyone own these components ? The have a closeout deal on these only a few bucks more then the ctx models

Im building a ported sub box for two 12"Dcon D4's.im in to SQ more than SPL, witch would be better a 3.2ft^3 iternal volume tuned to 30hz with 45.in^2 port area. or a 4.0 ft^3 internal volume tuned to 30hz with 60.in^2port area? im new to building ported boxes so any help would be a help...lol... thanks,,,,,,PS im runing a RF T500-1dbcp

I recently bought a 2000 s10 from my grandma. It was my grandpa's truck who passed away over a year ago. It has less then 40K miles on it and hadn't been driven more then 200 miles in the last 4 years. Anyways, I've been thinking about a new system for it. I pictured in my head that it would be cool to build a shelving unit above the sub box in the back of the s10 (extended cab with 3rd door). Would include two open bins on either side of truck, with open space in between with metal rack to bungie to. Not sure if you can picture that but I think it would be useful. like the topic says, i'm looking to do a budget build. I already have an old 500/1 amp. I'm looking to pick up a used 10w3v3 on ebay for like $110. I want to build a 2.0cf box with a 4" port tuned to 32hz. Question is: is the 2cf box and 4" port too big? or am I still within the realms of "should be ok". I'll be giving it 500 watts. So I'm looking to go bigger (who isn't? ) and I was checking out obsidians. They look pretty nice, I'm pretty sure that the product is going to be great unlike some brands that are just starting out since obsidian was established by some reputable people. I've been wanting to do a big build for a while now and I've been hopping between brands, doing price checks and just seeing what I like most. I think I've decided that this build will work pretty well...though like I said it is a decent sized build so I was hoping that some of you could give me some tips on the best way to set it up. Alrighty, Sadly it looks like my Infinity Reference 5.5" speakers are dying. (guess it more sounds like that...). Anyways, my one speaker sounds fine.. but the other one is starting to sound quieter and not nearly as sharp and i think its time to switch it up a bit. What i was looking at were the Bravox CX50CF coaxial speakers or the CX50K components.. My first main question i guess is from the SSA store do these come in pairs? or are the speakers priced individually. Also iv heard good reviews from other Bravox speakers but i havent really found any reviews on these particular ones. Obviously im looking to stay in about the same SQ range as the Infinity's, …

Hi there. My son is contemplating an upgrade to his sub. He has just one 8 and was wanting 2 SA8s. Then we talked to woofersetc and they suggested 2 SA10s. He has a trailblazer so enough room. Hi is running a Cadence ZRSC9 running 2 channel to the fronts and other two channels bridged to his current sub. He is just looking for more bass, doesn't really want to build a box. Hey guys, so I finished the build for my F150 (Thread "Looking for output in 1.75ft) and I have good news and bad. The enclosure is 2.5ft net tuned using two 3"x15" round ports to what the builder states is 33hz. Subs are a pair of Skar VVX10s on 1100wrms. Well the thing picked up a TON of low end, it pounds out the bottom octave like no tomorrow, with songs like "Late Night Tip" hitting so hard my wife said it shakes her rearview mirror when I'm behind her at a stoplight...lol But that's about it. It doesn't play anything else well. More average bass frequencies (45-55hz I'm thinking) is pretty soft and the kick drums in Metallica's ONE are absolutely nonexistent. I've p…

Alright guys im looking for a little help. A guy i work with has a 97 single cab ford ranger is wanting to get a little bass in his truck. there isnt a lot of room behind the passenger seat(havnt had a chance to measure), but what would be a good shallow sub that would work well in a small sealed box? i was looking at the new sundown sd-2 but im not sure how well that would work. any ideas? Sup guys just sittin here thinkin about what speaker setup I'll have in my sentra. Nothing too much or fancy but better than stock and budget-minded. I Order an Audioque HDC3 12" sub and I was wondering is a 3 cubic ft box tuned to 35Hz is good? I really want deep bass and I want to know if this well get loud? It will be powered off a MB Quart onx1.1500d.

I'm looking into the IA 187, I know it can handle the lows well but how about higher frequencies? I'm looking for a sub that can handle midbass well since I listen to mostly rock music. I'm looking to hear from ppl who have personally heard the sub. Thanks

So as most of may know the car that is crashed does not have the speakers or amp....so imma buy these things. for the rear imma go with 6.5 coax's and in the front imma go with components but the hard thing i am finding is which ones i am on a 150 dolllar budget on speakers. I found these 3 way speakers but i dont know if these are better or worse than the regular 2 way ones. If i go to 2 way imma go RE Audio Components not the xxX i have had them before and i liked them. I can get all 4 speakers for 150 and 100 for the XT800.4 amp from RE /US amps i had this setup before but now im just trying to figure out if the 3 ways are better or what? After looking into a bunch of speakers , i would love to get the Hetz but cost is way too much . i think i may go with the BEYMA SCK65 . Just wondering are they worth it being there made in China and i don't understand the 25rms rating on the tweeter , ? sounds very low .

Okay.... So this is another thread for me about my front stage... new ideas and different product.. I'm really liking the Image Dynamics (which can be found HERE)and the Morel Tempo 6 (which can be found HERE) ... Question now is... Which would have potential for more output(volume) and retain the quality... Doors are deadened and I may do more down the road so that shouldn't be a huge concern right now... Amplifier is currently a Boston Acoustics GT2-125 ... 125w @ 4ohms.... I usually listen to volume of 40-50 out 62 on my Pioneer HU ... Any more info needed let me know....
