It’s been a good run for me but after the last couple years I’v realized that I got nothing left for the hobby.....i’v been more into spending my spare time with my family with no more interest in taking on any more projects.. not even local I’m officially done , I have no further plans on building anything car audio related unless it is for myself my wife or my kids....my current system build will be my last And this will be my last post on SSA take care ..... I have not built anything out of the norm worth posting in a while.... how many single 12" box builds does one post ?? this ones slightly different...a quad of GB 10D4's.... my first run in with Audiofrog and starting with 2.25cf3 tuned at 30hz with a 7% port velocity per chamber no cosmetics until the subs are broken in and I'm happy with the tuning

breaking in the table saw and getting back into the swing of things with the sub I am using and the design this build is like putting a front end loader into a mail box......... LOL

well it"s been about 5 years since I had to pack it in but it looks like I am going to live long enough to retire an old man that drives around communicating with whales and continuing my therapy with 5 finger death punch anyways,I will be building enclosures for locals and for pick up...I might ship across Canada but one thing I will NOT ever do again is ship to the US unless the customer takes care of ALL aspects of shipping... I figure the last year I was shipping to the US I ended up building every enclosure for basically free with all the after charges I got nailed with by the shipping companies...some of the shipping bills doubled from the original quotes BTW..…

I got a few PM's from people asking how I am doing since I came back doing fine now , I have 5 stints between the right kidney and the ureter and I have gained 50 pounds...back up over a healthy 200 it's actually weird to not feel sick anymore....I'm digging it just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit and I'll be starting back up with some projects for locals on my evenings and weekends just so everyone knows I have no interest in selling designs but I may ship an enclosure or two IF the customer takes care of all the shipping BS from their end...later in the year after I complete the local stuff I have lined up

in response to my stack of e mails and PM's I am still stuck up in Northern BC waiting for the snow to shut us down... once I get back home I'll be firing the shop back up for a few more projects...will be back soon

gonna take a shot in the dark but whats the chances of getting a box built for a 95 camaro for a xcon 15. i looked at some boxes on ebay n stuff but scared to try one. taking out the t-top rack will be no problem cause i rarely use it anyway. thanks in advance

Just a little update for those minds that want to know..... only 3 and 1/2 weeks of school left and I'll be back to work...there are a couple of future projects and enclosure request builds coming so I will be back

well after recovering I got offered work on Natural Gas Pipeline so I have to upgrade my Level C welding ticket to a Level B Preasure ( 4 months ) and then I have 4- 6 weeks of Preasure Testing with the Natural Gas company.... still gonna build car audio on my spare time/weekends when I'm done school...I just can't make $200K a year building boxes......... no build logs so might show a few progress pics as I go... pics of the shop...sorry for the blurriness...I'm using my phone for these 4" clamp up tack.... root pass complete (6010) and about to tie in the hot pass (7018)

Hi Trevor, Glad to hear your up and feeling better. Not sure of you remember my username of your forum, but I was one of the top few posters there when it was active. I was wondering if, when you have some time and are caught up, you would be able to build me a box? I've just recently bought a 12" Stereo Integrity Mag V3 and would love one of your kerfed boxes for it. According to SI, |I'm not in a rush for it as I have a sealed box that I'm sure I'll be more than happy with if it takes some time. I've seen some of the local work and definitely want to avoid using them.

Hey how much would a 3.5 cube enclosure be with a fiber glass top ported and kerfed, just a fiberglass topplate to add some zest! lol also just wondering How do you get the paint in the port? Do you just paint it before you put the box together? Do you just use a spray gun with the usual primer, color, clear? Please LMK i read through all 26 pages of your smd thread trying to find something about how you paint and all you say is: "Ii just need to wait for the urethane to clear" LOL so i am assuming you use a urethane color coat or clear coat? IF you wanted to mentiom the brands you use the would be sweet but not necessary Thanks man, and awesome work!

well I'm back up... still about 20 pounds under weight but I'm alive have passed in the excess of 50 kidney stones this year alone plus tubes shoved into every orphise I got plus a few the doctors cut open themselves and lost a total of 40 pounds over the process I'v been home for about a week and I'm being avalanched on 8 months of bills and also four debts to customers who's enclosures I half built or sitting on a blueprint... anyways.....I am now back to work to catch up financially... once the major important bills are paid off ( like rent) I will e refunding the four enclosure customers I still owe there was no internet for most of my hospital or recovery time and n…

I read your sticky asking for requests to be made thru your "link"...if that meant pts.com, it's down or something so hopefully this will work. -44w23h28d...sub up port back. As close to 1.75^3/sub -3 6" aero's tuned to 30hz -fully braced using threaded rods and whatever. Just want it to be completely sturdy. -flush mounted with charcoal carpet finish. -Sundown Audio logo above the ports -6 SA-12's powered off an AQ3500D.1 until I get the SAZ4500D. Shipped to 55432. unfortunately I have a kidney issue that requiers some time for treatment and recovery so I am forced to temporarily shut down production..... I will be completing the door skins for the Dakota and the Xcon Enclosure for Mark as my health allows but there will be no new orders taken till at least fall ..the other two builds in line will be refunded SSA products as well as Diamond Audio , Cerwin Vega , Tsunami , Exile and Zenesis are still available to Canadian customers
