My xs1200 came in yesterday and I'm putting it in today. But the positive and negative terminals are on different sides compared to my factory batterys terminals. And if I rotate the 1200 and have the terminals on the correct side, they become too far away for my factory wires to connect. How do I go about solving this problem? Also, it didn't come with new posts for the factory wires to connect to, do I just bring the battery to Pep Boys or whatever and see if they have posts that will fit?

Hey Scottie is it?, I am wondering if you could help me out here. I am in need of a new alternator before I start my project. I was wondering if I can get a quote for a 95 Honda Accord EX. Its a 2.2L 4cyl vtech engine. And I also heard I need bracket modification as well. Thanks in advance, Curt

are there any powermaster dealers in Trinidad? importing batteries is a byatch. The taxes and duties amount to about as much as the battery itself.

I've had a d3400 under my hood since feb. It put out great power no problems. Today while working on my truck I noticed one side has a slight bulge. The batt still works fine, just need to know if I should be concerned?

Im trying to nail down some electrical for the new build and wondering if its the correct replacement size. Looking to replace my front battery with a D1200. The stock batt is a group 26, Im told. Its a regular Autolite from Kragens. The stock battery dimensions are roughly about 8L x 7W x 8H. It seems like it fits to me. Do I have this right?

No lights were left on, no doors were left open (if that could even be an issue since my Ford's lights go off after 10 minutes to save the battery anyway). After getting the batteries charged, I put them in and hope the alternator would do the rest. I left my car running for an hour... Perfect! The battery's voltage tested at 14.4v while running. Then I turned the car off. The voltage dropped to 12.6v, what a fine resting voltage you may think.... After waiting a minute or so, I started to notice that every 5-10 seconds, the voltage dropped by .01v. This was odd, and I'm wondering what's up. I'd love someone to tell me a problem like this is covered under the warr…

Just got my brand new D4800. I would like to know, should I charge the battery before installing it in the car? Assuming I do need to fully charge it, I dont happen to have a car charger. I read in the documentation included that it needs to be a charged with with a charger that does no more than 2.4v per cell. If I was to take it to Pepboyz or Advanced Auto Parts, how can I make sure they charge it properly?

So, I was wondering if you could post your full line of lithium batteries on here. I am also curious of how many 12v versions you have and/or may be developing in the future. I know lithium batts are very particular in regards to were there voltage levels need to be, so with that said, how do these fit into a car audio setting? What if any, testing have you done? I wouldnt mind possibly running several in my truck if the benefits would be worth it. Thank you

Hey Scott, do you still do this for people? I'm researching elternatives for boosting the amount of power i have in my car as i need maximum power at 2 ohms as my impedance curve shows that wired at 0.7 ohms, my lowest drop at full tilt is 2.21 ohms but at moderate levels, the rise drops down to 1.76 ohms so i would need an amp that is lenient or 1 ohm stable as you can see. I know that you have modded these amps before and am sure that even if the procedure isn't 100% full proof, i shouldnt be stressin it as much as my rise is just a hair below the 2ohm threshold. I'm still unsure on what amps to get for certain but this sparked my interest. 4,000w @ 2ohm total is benefi…

There has been a lot of questions about charging batteries lately. Lets look at it this way. A D3100 is around $350. A multimeter or volt meter can be purchased for $40 to how ever much you want to spend on one. IMHO it would be a good investment to get a multimeter/volt meter to make sure the batteries are being charged at the correct voltages. Multimeter/volt meters are just good things to have on hand for any electrical situation. You can usually find some pretty good deals in pawn shops on stuff like this.

I want to start out by thanking Nathan again for his great customer service!!! Nathan is a VERY friendly and helpful guy. I know it never gets old hearing a "job well done" So here I am Telling everyone what a GREAT job Nathan did. Here is my experience: I read a ton of forums and everyone just tells you to buy the biggest, baddest battery thats out there.(the D3100 if you where wondering) I Wanted a Second battery in my trunk for a good spot to connect all the runs of wire to and wanted a matching technology battery under the hood. Not nessasarily the same model but same tech. I was under the impression you wanted the bigger battery in the trunk and was still lost to w…

I plan on running a relatively high power setup. Two Warden 18's @ .7ohm (dual .7 series, then parallel) on a SAZ-4500D, a SAX-100.4 and a 50.4. Now what would be better for Park-and-play? I was planning on (3) D3100's plus a yellow/blue top under the hood and (2) 200A alts, or a single 300-350A. Would the (3) D3100's be good for reserve? Or should i get a higher number of smaller/lighter batteries? I would think while parked, i would keep it idling, but not having to is a plus. Thanks, -Chris

I have searched everywhere for a high ouput alternator for my 2008 Hyundai Elantra and nobody makes one! My stock alternator is a puny 90amp unit. I would like to be able to support +3000wrms. I plan on using a D6500 battery under the hood. By adding a second battery I would not be improving anything other than killing my alternator faster, right? Do you think I can support +3000wrms with my factory alternator and a D6500? Thank you! Eric

I have a DC Power 270XP a D3400 under the hood and a D3400 in the trunk. Batteries in parallel, no relay(one run 1/0 +, one run 1/0 -). All wiring is Stinger HPM 1/0. Wire connections are terminated with copper ring terminals soldered with silver solder and crimped. Fuse holders are screw down type with Kicker 300a anl fuses. I have two engine grounds in 1/0, alternator to battery ground in 1/0, both batteries are grounded in 1/0. Under hood battery grounded to strut tower, rear battery grounded to frame rail. The only amplifier I am using right now is a Crescendo 3kwp wired at 1ohm gain set approx 45ac volts. I estimate I may see 200a draw now but will be seeing 400a in …
