Just wanted to let everyone know that we are currently moving to a different location, so there may be a slight delay in the responses. The best way to reach me if you need something is by email or by phone. If you get my voice mail I am probably at the other office and will get back with you as soon as possible. I am handling things at both locations right now, so I cant be on the forums as much right now. Should have everything completed here in the next week or so and then back to business as usual. Just wanted to let everyone know.

Ok, im a noob to figuring out how much ampage I would need for any given system. Usually go by what others tell me or calculators. What is the technical way of figuring out how much amps you would need out of the alternator then battery power for any system. thats the general question. Then, my bro is planning on running 6000 rms system and we are planning on running powermaster alt and batts. what size alt should we get and batts to place up front and how many in back. We will be running this system in a 86 cutlass and will be using sundown 3000ds and spl15s. thanks again

Used the XS site and put in my vehicles info(01 Burb). It suggested a S3400 underhood and a D3400 aux. I have seen vids showing the D's swelling up due to heat in the engine bay. Yet still I see many still putting the D3400 under the hood without issue. But I digress- the point of my question is that I plan to run both batteries under the hood. should I use 2 S series?

  7. I know i should know this but do you have to match the cranking amp ratings on batteries to run them together? Or can you just run about any battery regardless of the amp ratings? Will they draw off of each other. The only reason i ask is I've bin looking around the forums at alot of installs and have seen a couple mixed matched batteries linked together. I have 2 optima redtops and i want to hook another battery to them without a isolater but don't want to spend another $160 on another redtop battery. Any help would be appreciated Joe

Just wondering if you happen to know what the biggest battery that will fit in the front of the scion xb. Was thinking of going with a 3400 and then 2 3100's in the back.

I was looking for a battery to power my car and stereo and came across the flyer for the D3400. I have 3 amps: Sundown SAZ1500D, an Orion 900.2 and a diamond 400.4. Not looking to compete hardcore just an occasional local meet and daily driver. Just want a safe power source. I drive a Toyota Solara with factory battery and alt. Does the 3400 meet my needs?

  17. Say I have a group of rear batteries near my amps, but I also of course tie in with the front of the car. At the front of the car is a factory 175A alternator, and a stock group 65 battery. How do I figure how much current I could draw from that area so I can run the appropriate wiring. Also I'll be replacing the front battery with an xspower D6500, I want to run the wire that will support that and the alternator instead of doing that later, so I guess maybe the factory battery doesn't really matter in this, but I'd still like to figure out if what I have now is even a bottleneck currently. Waiting for some new amps to arrive and while that goes on I'm doing everything I …

So Im looking to add another battery to my truck as Im wanting to have no electrical issues. I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota crew cab with 4.7L V8 and will be recieving and installing my Singer 250 amp alt in about 2 weeks. I have a XS power D2700 in the front and a positive and neg run of Knu OFC 0 guage to back. My problem is I want to put a new battery under my false floor and only have like 6-6.25" max of height and about 16" depth by 16 width approx. I was going to get a XP2000 but even on its side I dont have the height, my question is: will running two XP950's be much less power than an XP2000? I know on paper its not much. Also will this be adequate for a Crescendo BC2…
