I really don’t give a flying fuck about what other people think. If they don’t like it they can drive faster. I do play my system loud all the time, and turn it up at stop lights. Just to piss people off. Yes i have massive trunk rattle and well everything rattles. I can’t hear it, do you think i car if you can? I’ve had people flip me off, get out and yell at me (I love that get to yell back), call cops; pull over to the side of the road. Whatever they do, i always get a laugh out of it, and it brightens my day. Yes i am an arseho but i don’t really give a shit anymore. I have nothing to lose and life just sucks. What ever i can get enjoyment out of i take every advantage of it. That’s my system i love bass and a lot of it. To add I put this though spell check and grammar check to make sure everything is right. So at least you can’t bitch that my grammar and spelling is off. All you can bitch about is my rant. lol

GOALS are very important! One of the car audio shops that I go to sells JL and RE audio products... He rated subs in this order XXX, w7, MX. The XXX dominated the lows, the w7 played a wider band width(with authority), and the mx.... I wouldn't like it.... If you're doing your own install, get jl over re! JL can take customer abuse more than the re can. I know cuz i went through a xxx in a couple of months where my jl w7 are still going strong from 2003 Some ppl will say that jl charges too much if you mess it up which is true, but RE charged me $250 for the XXX and it took 4 months to get it back!!! Way tooooo long!!!! So goals would be SQ, Spl, or a mixture of both.... If you take some time, you should be able to find something on every sub this site has to offer!!!! Between a XXX and an XCON, I'd be more willing to bet on the XCON:-) Also, its all in the install. direction sub is facing, sealed/ported, tuning freq, etc... to many factors.... Have fun researching!!!! I learn something new everyday!!!!!

There is one store local that has this attitude. They carry DD, Focal, Memphis and American Bass. Their idea of pricing is MSRP and then put in on sale for 10% off. They get pissed off when somebody brings up their high prices or another brand they don't sell. Actually it's just one of the owners that has that attitude. But then he is the first to say "Wow business is slow"..... ! It may not necessarily be their choice that they have to price it like that. Some companies can be very controlling as far as pricing and sales go, especially if there are multiple dealers in the area. I know they're not car audio-related, but Apple is the most notorious for this practice.The reason behind it is some companies don't want to be perceived as a cheap, or even cheaper (which implies inferior), product relative to their competitors. As for the shop owners, oh well, as long as you enjoy your system, that's what matters. If you're buying your system to impress others, you're buying it for the wrong reason, anyways.

i listen to mostly rap, once in a great while ill play some fast heavy metal... i used to have 2 12" type r's hooked up to a power akustic 1000DB amp n a 3 frad cap.... im hoping i can get that one 15" a little louder then my alpines i didnt have my type R's fully powered tho if that helps its just gonna be used as a daily driver, i like loud bass that i can also feel though my seats , and i like clarity for the most part but id rather be herd from a block away.. the amp i will be using for this setup is a P A 3000DB amp with 1/0g monster cable power cables... is there anything else you need to kno? I would bet money that not one person that has replied and downplayed my amp has even owned one....that shows alot about your opinions. This is what you guys do. Join the crowd and attack the guy with the REAL experience instead of the guys who talk shit and know nothing. It's you that will miss out. As far as efficiency, lets see some pictures of your claims of my amp being 40% efficient. Lets see your meter reading an 8002SW at being 40% efficient. Didn't think so. Just another thing you read on the internet.
