fair enough in the whole of it. i am challenged here on which way i should respond. i feel i should either inquire what it is you are reffering to, or just restate what he originally said. Five, he had only asked you about your trip .... saying whats up.....in the ihop. is there misinformation within that? Is it a stupid post or slao in the face to say whats up in the ihop? i am not being a smart ass here, i really am wanting to have a sloid answer as to what he done wrong, in the begining, so i can explain it to him accordiningly, as well as to avoid it myself. if there is other post or coments that he did wrong on, i was not aware of it and apologixe for the oversite and misdrawn conclusion that you was responding to his post in the ihop. the disrespect that you are referring to, just for clarifacation, was what he went on to say afterwards , correct? i totally understand the rest and to where as you and i know there will always be some body that does break the rules delibertly, i can never gaurantee that..... i do assure you i will continue to try to learn and uphold the actions deemed acceptable on here. i hope as you read this, you understand my position on it in all aspects.... as a friend to him and as a member to this forum. thanks chop.

Nobody is starting anything stop getting emotional (thats a females trait), obviously since you been on here long enough you would know what the rules are and how to follow them. Im gonna say what I want to so stop crying and give us more information so we can help you its that simple, why leave out information we are gonna ask you anyway which is going to slow the process down from you getting the best answer possible. Just follow the rules and you wont have no problem from me or any moderators (Im trying to help you out buddy). Bigrank said the same thing I did, more info. To be honest with you no matter how much information you give on this topic it still is the same, both are great drivers and will get the job done (whatever fits in the budget and wins the coin toss).

This post doesnt really tell us anything about what you want from a system and those descriptions are basically about every driver here. How about a budget? Why just those 2 drivers? What kind of amp are you using? Give a little more info to help.

It's actually really, really simple. If you try to make a post that makes sense and really express your needs and opinions you will get a helpful answer. If you put no time or energy into your thought and blatantly disregard the terms & conditions of the site I will use just as much time in my response as you did in your initial thought. If the response is to whine then what is there to respect? If you don't try you don't deserve help. Remember this is a forum which means that EVERY thread should be there not only to help the OP, but ANYONE who searches and finds it. Simple forum etiquette gets you along way and if you don't understand that you have no place starting an argument over it either. As for being mean or belittling perhaps you should look at it the other way. A stupid post, misinformation, or not following standard forum procedures is a huge slap in our face basically as a poster you are saying FUCK you I don't give a shit about your rules or desires but answer my damn question. I agree an appropriate response would be to be more patient, but that will only further promote that style of behavior on the site and it is nothing that any of us want. I've got a deal for you. You guarantee that no more stupid threads or dumb posts get made and I'll be nice all the time. If not, then respect stays a two way street. SPL wise the DC would probably be the loudest. the Xcon would most likely perform similar to the MX, but for a lot less money. The Xcon is a great daily ground pounder, and the SPL difference will only be seen on a meter, not audibly.

No need to reinvent the wheel here. It's called OPEN cell foam, and has been known for a good long time. Ensolite is a CLOSED cell foam, which are poor absorbers. But OPEN cell foam is very effective at sound absorption. Obviously you know nothing about sound deadening. Mass is the name of the game in a barrier, but not deadening. And yes mat is NOT a good barrier. You should re-read your own posts before posting again. ROFL. I responded about mass when you stated all sound deadener does is add mass and my response was "it is the name of the game in a barrier, but not deadening". If this doesn't insinuate mass per unit area perhaps you could clarify how you read that. When you buy things in sheets the area is expected to be a given. Let's make this easier on all of us, I have a real EASY bit of homework for you. Google Modal Damping and then explain to me how the DAMPING changes with mass (for extra credit you can then summarize and extrapolate how adding mass to a door panel works, and while you are at it perhaps you can tell us why it is called Dampener). After that go ahead and google the STC for a closed cell foam and then for lead sheeting and its closest cheap approximation mass-loaded vinyl. If you need to, do a bit of research and figure out what STC is first As for the experience pissing contest, I'll refrain from comparing your "experience" with mine. That definitely is a route that you don't want to go down in particular if you are not familiar with Modal Analysis.

Power isn't your problem, space is. 2cuft is rather easy in those trucks, but more can be had if necessary. How far are you willing to take it? The BL's will be louder. A single 12" BTL could be made to fit as well. Not sure what your beef with downfiring is, it would surely help to know.
