  1. Try Youtube, they can be embedded. videos are up... atleast a few. check my thread: (4) 10" SSA Dcons - SSA Car Audio Forum - Page 2 Sounds wierd on video, much better in person. also worked them hard today so ill be giving my babies a rest the rest of the day
  2. Ok FINALLY I got some videos up. I got a few more but want to find a better way to upload these. The sound is not reproduced well and it doesnt sound very loud but I can assure you its pretty loud. Just from doing these videos my ears were hurting and buzzing for awhile. Also, I have never driven these subs this far. Especially on the lower notes, im usually more careful but after each video I smelled the subs/port and got nothing... also subs and amp got luke-warm at best... not hot at all. Also, the flex... you can see some of it, but alot of it you cant see from these videos. Everything flexes and vibrates (mirrors, rearview mirror, windows, side panels, trunk, windshield moves some, and the doors come in and out but you cant see most of this on video. Subs are outstanding. I got some more pictures ill post too... Enjoy I couldnt find a good place to upload, both photobucket and youtube were being wierd so i used motion box or something like that... Also, sorry for my voice, i just woke up and just getting over a cold. And im too lazy to edit otherwise id make these a little nicer haha. This just runs over what I have as in audio equip and tint... nothing important really: MOV01137.MPG from alexp073 on Motionbox Here is the first video.... Fell the Bass II, its a bass test and also All Black (slowed down in audacity): MOV01138.MPG from alexp073 on Motionbox Alrite... here is the second video. This is just playing test tones in 5hz increments from 55hz down to 20hz both inside and outside the car: MOV01139.MPG from alexp073 on Motionbox This video shows the air being moved, i used red wrapping paper. Used Iced Up by Gucci Mane (slowed down on audacity): MOV01141.MPG from alexp073 on Motionbox Hope you enjoyed. Whenever I have time again Ill take more with more songs. I meant to do a different All black. I have an even more slowed down version. Flex shows some in the video but trust me its way more in reality. Also sounds wierd on video. Very proud and happy customer here though. Alex "Doctor Q"
  3. Or try a different enclosure

I would definitely get a dual 2 ohm sub, that way you can wire it down to 1 ohm. Reason being that the class is based on amplifier power at 4 ohms, and with an unregulated power supply amp it will put out approximately twice as much power at 1 ohm than 2. That way instead of only having an amp that can do 1200 x 1 @ 2 ohms (or 600 x 1 at 4 ohms), you can get down to 1 ohm and that amp will then do 2400 watts at 1 ohm (same 600 @ 4 ohm power rating). If you can turn it into a dual 2 depends largely on the motor. You'll just have to ask the reconer. You'll just have to ask about the 15 to 12 size change also. This can be done on many subs, but it obviously also includes changing the basket as well as just the soft parts like a normal recone so it may have an extra charge, not sure.
  5. Keep in mind a clamp test isn't a very useful or accurate method for testing amplifier power. To the average user (such as yourself), the numbers stated in that thread are pretty useless. That was my point Increasing power is most useful to competitors where tenths of a decibel can be important. To the average user (such as yourself) even doubling power output won't result in a significant audible benefit, especially when considering the added expenses. But people lose sight of this fact because of all the attention raw power figures are given on the internet. Also was mentioning it to point out that if you have a 1500w amp now and you want to significantly increase audible output don't run out and buy a 2kw or 2500w amp as it won't make a much if any audible difference and all you'll have accomplished is spending money for pretty close to nothing.

the amp has 3 more fuses inside making it 240 amps it will do more than rated power i've done research on this amp i was considering buying it before i stumbled across Sundown SAZ3000 at a good price
  7. Audio competitors are fanatical. More superstitious than pro football players and surgeons combined!

3x40fuses=120amps 120ampsx12.5 volt= no will not do rated power. probably wont even do it @14.4. search for how to do calculations yourself next time.
