Well, after looking into a new user icon for the new supporter user group, I figured out the rest of the user icon's, so i'm sure you have noticed by now the new icons... Icon's also reflect the member title color of that group. Enjoy. And the new user group we about to kick off soon....

I would advise reading through this before posting again ..... Attention NOOBS!!!! - SSA Car Audio Forum 2 10" drivers vs 1 10" will be louder (Cone Area, Motor Strength) 1 10" driver designed for SPL on twice the power vs 1 10" driver designed for SQ on same power.......Waste of time imo! 2 different designs and purposes for the drivers.

I'll say it just like I did on ca. My DP's sound great imo, and get loud. Or they did until I gutted my car lol. I've heard some DD subs, they got loud, but I didn't really like the sound. I'm sure it had a lot to do with the setup, and my personal opinion though.....The DP would be more comparable to the 9500 though. A lot of it is going to come down to installation.....But still, IA ftw lol. PLUS: You can get the DP's here at the SSA store.

Comparison threads are useless since most drivers cant be compared due to their goals they were designed around, DC Sound subs are geared more for SPL purposes (not saying they dont have some good sound quality as well) and SSA subs are geared more for SQ purposes (not saying they dont have good SPl or output). Thinking about trying a DCON. - SSA Car Audio Forum - Page 2 The only way to tell how they would compare would be to buy both sets of subs and install to find out, car audio is all about compromise and lots of testing (the only way to find things out in life).

Seriously? I am honestly ashamed of some of my SSA brothers. A man reaches out for help before its too late for him, and people want to slap his hands? Shame on those who flame the OP and hopefully you will never know the pains of a chemical related addiction. Now with that out of the way, dude I have been around to help friends off their habits. It is NEVER easy, but as others have said this has to be FOR YOU. There can be alterior motives such as a better job, more money in your pocket, or better health; BUT the main forcus has to be number one: YOU. If you quit for yourself it makes it easier to stay on the sobriety wagon. Along with that you need to make a choice, either get the people who are a negative influence on your sobriety goals to join you in sobriety, or leave them behind. If the constant reminder of your addiction is around the harder it is to avoid. Its kind of like a smoker, if he wants to quit going to a smokey cigar bar and drinking WILL NOT help him quit. If anything it will further fan the flames of the addiction and make it harder to stay away from. I have gone through some personal battles with drugs in the past.................I cannot get into it to much at this time (damn government job) but it took a wake up call at a friends expense for me. I hope it is early enough that you dont need that. J

YES Definitely a box concern and related to the power you are throwing at it. Exactly why it isn't trivial to just "build a box" and use it. The design must take into account, the drivers parameters, the enclosure parameters, and also the vehicle or space it is going into.

Yea well, this is a open forum, I will say what ive seen. If you've got a problem with the guy for whatever reason thats your problem, sort it out with him. You shouldnt cry about it in ppl posting what they have seen and experience.
