  1. Rap

    1 point
I've never really understood why kids from the suburbs and small towns (etc) want to drive around listening to some guy rap about "fuckin' hoes, slangin' rock and Benjamins" when it has zero relevance to their life other than they feel cool if they play it really loud in their car with their hat turned sideways and lean to one side. That is all.

Instead of wasting time using letters to describe the shape you think the port should be, how about you tell us the actual dimensions of your enclosure and the dimension of the port? That way we can calculate the actual enclosure volume and tuning of your enclosure. Seems a little more productive, don't you think?

No it really depends on the installation and enclosure, most people who have L7's have them in a SPL geared boxed. If it was in a box tuned to your liking then it would be a different story.

DCONs come in single 4 ohm coils. Going by manufactures recommendations the SRx would work. But if you were to throw a little poly fill in the enclosure you should be able to use any of those drivers.
  6. yeah same applied to me also
  7. Not really, it won't help on any of the frequencies of your door mounted driver. I disagree mainly because I've tried it, and it makes a difference. Most people might be intimidated by your SSA tech team and your 40,000 posts and just take your word for it. I think, however, that you are just against it because it's not the "proper" thing to do. Yea, there are better ways to get a better result, but this does have some effect and you can't deny that.
