  1. They are finally getting noticed.
  2. That depends what they are rattling against. If they are rattling against the inner skin, a layer of CCF will stop it - doesn't even need to be full layer, a piece here and there will probably take care of it. If it's one part of the trim panel rattling against another part of the trim panel, you've either got to stop the pieces from moving or stop them from making contact. A rattle is always two or more hard objects making intermittent contact because one or more of them is vibrating. The key to stopping any rattle is identifying those object(s). In most cases, once you've done that, the solution will be simple.
  3. I added a thin layer of a rubber mat, I think it was pond liner.... Then I put some foam type padding to eliminate some of the whine coming from my case... Problem is I have sooo many vents that it didn't help a whole lot... But my PSU sounds less... That's the problem with computer cases - doesn't matter how much of a barrier you create inside, the noise is just going to come out with the air transfer. Fans are usually the biggest noise makers anyway. Putting vibration damper on the case can help. Decoupling the case from what it's sitting on can help. If you really want to build a barrier, you'd need to build an enclosure around the case and build some sort of baffled air transfer that can move a lot of air quietly.
  4. Some quick pictures next to a cheapo 10" MTX subwoofer. I would like to thank Sir-Lancelot. I purchased these from him. He was great to deal with, the packaging was great, and the subs are in perfect condition. They look brand new.

I have tried the less expensive route, and I pretty much got what you can purchase at AutoZone for 89.99. I spent about what you are referring to as price and for another 100-125 I could have had a Quality alt. to start with. We learn from our mistakes and hopefully the mistakes of others. Good Luck.
  6. Assuming they are not using the metric system being meter is the base measurement for length which would make it 60 millimeters, or .060 of a meter. I doubt it's over two inches thick . So being the inch is the american standard for lenght, one mill or milli-inch is .001". So 60 mill would be .060 of an inch. Or .0025" less than 1/16 of an inch.

You are asking the wrong question. What you need to focus on when asking this question is amplifier efficiency rather than just the impedance of the load. If both amplifiers were the same efficiency into those respective impedance loads, there would be zero difference in current draw. What ibanender is likely eluding to is that most class D amplifiers will be more efficient at 4ohm than 1ohm, so the 4ohm impedance would likely result in less current draw. But the reason is because of the difference in efficiency, not impedance. It just so happens that efficiency is generally correlated with the impedance of the load the amplifier is driving. The same difference in current draw could occur between two different amplifiers of the same power driving the same load simply because of a difference in efficiency between the two amplifiers. So, moral of the story.....current draw is directly related to efficiency, not load. Efficiency is generally correlated with the load (lower the load, lower the efficiency). But efficiency of different designs and amplifiers will be different, so driving a higher impedance load does not guaranty a higher efficiency when comparing two different amplifiers.

Nothing to hide, I just don't check these forums during the work day as often as I do at night, so I don't want confusion if I miss a post, etc. Having it out in the public is of no worries. I am on top of this situation, we will have to see what UPS has to say. Smashed - Look forward to hopefully pleasing you in the future

If you continue to bash on forums after I answer every email you send me within 2 minutes via my phone (being swamped in the office all day) I will see no further reason to help in this matter. I have done everything in my power and you continue to make a point of calling me out. Kevin

This was pretty funny, this is a perfect example of people on forums acting like they know something but really don't. So many people with their foot in their mouths, haha.

Lmao because I didn't fiberglass my own doors and build a wall only a handful of people could build I am not allowed to admire it being my car??? You sound like a damn fool saying that. This isn't a feedback thread it's turned into a whiney bash thread..... And I never spoke of phis daily life at all, but I could care less if his is good or not. I know I am extremely happy with where I am in my life. I don't know why you even car about it so much tho to be honest. The my car>yours comment was to those who feel like they can talk shit about me for the sole reason that I'm sticking up for someone they are bitching about. You preach about it being a feedback thread but WTF can't I post my positive feedback to offset all this bullshit? And Jaycee my head is far from my ass, trust me. And LOL about you crying about my car now!!!! Now I can't make my car a show car bcz in the eyes of the allmighty Jaycee it isn't worthy lol. I get compliments on my car multiple times a day, I could care less about your whiney hater opinion. Should someone only hook up escalades and chargers? Lol. The good thing about shows is the number of diff cars with customization....apparently you are to close-minded to see this though..... Commense more whining....

DC didn't get that memo. We can go back and forth day after day, but the only thing that will get proven is you know how to search google instead of creating your own images. It would also do nothing but turn this forum into caraudio.com
