Super Jolly update pics as promised. Mazzer SJ as purchased Saturday night for $150 (last five I've seen on Ebay have gone for more than $400) Wee bit caked with 13 year old coffee Sitting next to the Vetrano and my parents Rocky Teeny hopper, huh? More nasties Let's get rid of that disgusting paint 3M Paint wheel, wire brush, 60,160,200,320,400,600, and Tripoli compound (and 3 hours) later With the Vetrano Electrical tape mod and Elvinator (done out of poly cutting board) are installed as well. The burr's were replaced in 3-09 according to the writing on them. So dull I can't get them to take anything off my fingernail. Also can't manage to pull a double shot that is longer than 15 seconds to 60ml. Re-seated the burrs three times to see if I could improve it, but I guess I have to wait until Thursday when the new burrs arrive. I didn't polish or clean the doser up because I ran out of time and wanted to get it done. I also plan to do a doserless modification to it later on and perhaps do some sort of built in timer as well. We'll see when I get a free moment.

Couple more pics of the box. Here it is now moving the bats pushed it away from the rear hatch a good bit. Easily got 8" + as it sits. Now for some potential good news. If I do not latch the rear seats I can push the box way off the hatch and stay behind the pillar. I hope this give's me some flexibility on the meter to tweak and try to get that little bit more. Seats Locked with box in it's current position. Seats unlocked with the box in the same position. Big difference! Hopefully the meter will agree. LOL

Finally. Got these installed and cleaned up a little bit. Not really happy with the mess of 1/0, but what you gunna do with that much of it. I have another HC2400 and HC2000 that will be delivered sometime this week or next and that should make it somewhat more manageable. The plan is to run 2 of the 2400's on each side of the box and 2 of the 2000's under the hood. That should make it easier to hide the wires with a nice cover to go over the bats and wiring on the side. Right now it's too much and not enough room. As soon as I can hook up with Tejcurrent I will be upgrading this to 4 HO alts. My bracket and alts are ready it's just finding time in busy schedules to get together. Right now with the gains dialed back, voltage is surprisingly decent. I was expecting much more drop. I should be able to hold 14v with ease once I and add the bats and 2 more alts. Should make a beast of a ground pounder. I will post up my thought on the zcons in the review section once I get some more seat time with them, but with one day of play on them.......... these are some seriously badass moofers! Really glad Mark and Aaron decided to bring something like this out for guys that want to run serious power to a damn good sounding sub. They are taking everything I am giving them with ease and sound fucking GREAT! So happy with SSA right now! I cant wait to see what the Zcons can do when I can turn the gains up on em at a steady 14+ volts. On to some pics. I freaking love these amps! Sucks that Maxxsonics abandoned the sale of them. Got wire? The plan is to be able to put a lid on these eventually and hide this mess. For now just zip ties to keep them steady and safe. Now for some Moofer Porn.

Use Sd, if Sd was not supplied with the T/S parameters, you can use the effective diameter of the cone(in cm). As Sd = pi*(Dia/100)^2/4 The effective diameter is normally the diameter of the cone, plus 1/2 the surround, for wide roll surrounds at least.

people sure do freak out.. i remember waiting for what seemed like forever for my BTL when i bought it but didnt post once about it.. with Fi your in good hands.. it will arrive. If you dont have patience then you should be buying some mainstream off the shelf stuff from a store somewhere.
