  1. Fresh out of the box. A little wrinkly, nothing a quick steam cycle can't fix.
  2. Well, Mrs. Chainsaw and I have decided to undertake a drastic change in lifestyle. She had a serious wake up call when the doctor told her she had high blood pressure. Here is what we are doing: -We went online and used a Weight loss calculator to plot out our daily calorie intake. -We have cut out fast food and things like fried food( no junk) -She has switched to diet coke(I drink cokes sparingly, but when I do its only diet) -We are keeping a journal of our daily calorie intake and exercise( we are both very busy right now, so not much time for it) -We are saving for a new treadmill or to repair our current one( we live in a bad neighborhood, so walking at night is out of the question) I've noticed that just in the last week or so, with cutting the crap out, I'm full on significantly less calories. Basically I could eat a sandwich, yogurt, and fresh strawberries and be full. As opposed to eating a Double stack from BK which would not fill me up and has more calories than that whole meal. We both plan on exercising more, once school gets out next week. Its kinda hard right now with her working 6 days and me doing work 5 days and school 5 days. We really want to set a good example for our daughter. We also want to improve our health and appearances for ourselves and each other. My goal is 66 lbs in 180 days, with a starting weight of 316. Hers is larger, but I don't want to embarrass her. She is giving herself a year. Based on calorie intake alone, we could reach these goals in a timely manner. No telling what we could do with proper exercise. She told me she would buy me a new bmx bike if I reach my goal( that was one of my favorite hobbies) We want to try for a second child when she reaches her goal. Just wanted to share. I appreciate any encouragement and advice you guys may give. Thanks
  3. The Xcons in the 12" were very impressive, as far as loudness and sounding superb, its a hard act to follow, and having run these subs in a trunk which is hard to get loud these subs delivered. Best way to describe these subs is its like having a high end Home Theater with massive output while achieving superior Sound Quality, and if you like low bass these subs dig way down deep with authority, the vids i have with them in my car comes from an enclosure tuned to 32hz. Hope this helps you out if you have any more questions please ask. The Xcons were designed to be SQ subs, but they have jaw dropping amounts of output given what they are designed for.
  4. Stephen & I have been working on the overhauling of his old website for around 6 months now. We have made it to this point. The launch of the new site. There are still some changes in the works, like a brand new fresh page, and professional product photos of his awesome 2011 amplifiers! Once those photos come back in about a week or so, the site will come alive! In the mean time, feel free to check it out, comment, rate, share on the zedaudiocorp.com website! Thanks for looking! http://www.zedaudiocorp.com Front Page Online Catalog Product Page Tech Talk
  5. I will point out one obvious thing ( to me anyways), two out the other three ppl in this discussion have the Accord a generation before mine and the other guy (with an 02) bought his DC alt used. I assume your test car is that generation also? This could explain alot of the issues I had (other than the plug clearance). The bracket obviously works, just stiffer to manipulate with the gusset. Is it as good as it get's? No, but it works. (good enough for the girls i live with) When I first went to install the bracket I used the bolt you guys provided and it was juuuust long enough to grab the first thread in the aluminum engine block, and then rip the top thread off. So I went to the store and got a longer one with the pitch you provided. I then when home to find out that that bolt wouldn't thread in. SO I compare the bolt to the OEM bolt (which is no where near long enough, but is 10.9 grade) and realize the wrong thread pitch is the problem. SO the I went back to the store and bought the correct length and pitch bolt, 10.9 grade of course. I also bought a thread tap to clean up the threads because at this point I didn't feel like any more suprizes. Then I go to install the belt you provided (which I didn't even expect in the kit anyways, so kudo's there) but it was to long. I reused the OEM sized belt that was on the car until I could get a new correct one. Needless to say I would think you would want a smoother install for a customer. I am a VERY patient guy so I personally just take it in stride, but not everyone is that calm about things.
  6. ok, just got back from talkin with XS Power. They said just be sure to run buss bars that are capable of handling the minimum of the maximum possible current draw off my equipment. Other than that, they said putting ~2,400A on battery Post 1 will be fine, no harm done.
  7. troy i need a update this is way out of hand. If you have a template how hard is it to find a shop to cut the pattern and weld some spacers on the side of it? At this point IDC if my bracket is 100% clean cut i just need it finished if you cant have it in the mail by the end of this week FRIDAY MAY 13th then i want a instant refund

  17. You ought to cut that smart ass attitude out man, I didn't ask for your fancy wording that a normal human has no idea what it means.. Got off of my topic please and I'll recieve help from real people. And besides, I'd rather put the x in the 29cg chamber. Thinkin of goin with a 47h slant on the 63 curvature.
  18. ohhh shiz. m5 steppin in with the smack down. anyways, as for musical ability of the subs, thats 90% box... i built a box for my single dd 9518 that was more musical and played lower than any single btl set up i've ever heard... same sub i burped a 147.7 with on less than 2500 rms. either way, this will simply prove that in this particular set up, one sub is more inclined to be successful in that particular scenario. the real test would be doing 20 different boxes, with power ranging from 1k rms to 4k rms, and seeing which subs hold up the best, put up the highest numbers, and are the most flexible in the variation of set ups. that would actually give you an idea of which sub is "better".
  19. -1 points
Stop putting the L Port up on a pedestal... Reminds me 40yr old virgin.
