  1. Fi resolved this over 22 days ago. There is absolutely no need for you to dig up old shit you are not even involved in. People reading the thread have no way of knowing the issue has been resolved. If it had, it should have been posted. This is a public forum for information and he has every right to get involved in any thread he damn well pleases, just the same as you do, so next time be careful with the keyboard.
  2. As the title states, Sound system fail, gold paint adds them Deebeez to uh solobaric, LMFAO. Enjoy.
  3. Would like everyone to help make Matt and Eric from Mechman at home here. On top of manning their forum section and answering questions, SSA will be begin retailing their great products! We look forward to working closely with Mechman on a number of projects behind the scene and we know you all will enjoy their excellent customer service as well. Welcome to SSA!
  4. 220A installed in an 02 Camry with adjustable voltage boost module. I start cold at 15.1, then drive at 14.8-14.9.
  5. Dude please grow up, nobody cares about your bad rep. Stop waisting forum space with this nonsense, act your age and not your shoe size. If you dont like the response you get from people brush it off, everybody in this world is not gonna like you or your ideas (welcome to reality).
  6. Sure, pick up a few physics books and start reading, you can't just decide you want to design enclosures.
  7. As Mark had said, that's exactly what it means. It's awaiting creation, then transportation, for your audio sensation. It takes a few days to complete and afterward you're in for a treat. LOL, damnit, gotta stop doing that. Anyway, I'm glad to hear you love the sound of the 10" DCON, they are definitely great subs. You can put on a goofy grin tho, knowing you'll have yours as soon as they can get it to you. I'll be looking for the build log!
  8. First off, thanks for your business! "Awaiting Shipment" simply means your sub has been placed in the build que. At this time our build house is a bit behind, and will probably take your sub 7-10 business days to be completed. You can find specs and tuning information on the DCON product page here: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/index.php/product-information/dcon.html Thanks again for choosing SSA!
  9. Here is a link to their specs which is all I can find on them. They were suggested by a member on another forum called AudioPhil who said that most SSA Sundown IA FI stuff is "off the shelf garbage" and that these at $180 each are in an entirely different class. I am a big SSA fan myself and was juct curious on others thoughts. EDIT Cant display link because it is on C. A. C. O. But if you do a search you will find the link. AudioPhil has been spamming those drivers for several years. Ask him why he recommends them so much and see if you get the truth. Then ask yourself if these drivers are so good, why are they not more well known and used more like SSA, and Fi? Or you can spend the $180 and find out for yourself.
  10. Look around a bit, maybe try the search function.

We used to do a lot of full USAC shows with our shop vehicle, and never lost a show. We used to steal a mono signal off one of the front amps, and use an l-pad to attenuate the center. Worked phenomenally with no other processing. The trick was keeping the level very low, just enough to sense some sound, but not too much that you knew where it was coming from. We used to get a lot of great imaging scores and comments from the judges about how great the depth was, without hurting the width. Like I said, watch the level of it and you will be fine. I realize some people may not like it, but give it a try. You may really like it. Heck, you can even hook up a speaker in a small enclosure first before you try cutting a hole for it, that way if you don't get what you like out of it, no harm done...

I you have it in a IMAX theatre, why shouldn't it be in your vehicle ?? Wouldn't be the same if it was missing ... DO you sit in your truck to watch movies? Are you competing in the "best theater experience" class of "SQ" ocmpetitions? Nobody is saying you can not do it, and others have with success, but we get into the objective versus subjective debate yet again, like always and any time you bring judging and human ears into the equation, all objectivity goes out the window. If could afford the electronics to watch movies, yes I would ... Yes, I am in Super Modified Class in USACI and Modex class in MECA ... Yea, aparently SSA is saying it can't be done ... This is the game I want to play in, so just like any other game, I have to play by their rules ... just the way it is ... Nobody said it can't be done, and why do you always make these threads? You pose a question, then when you don't get the answer you want, you dance around everything and it always ends up with you twisting shit around. You're like a teenage girl who doesn't get her way and throws a fit. Here's a question for you; since you know guys who have "successfully" used rear speakers and center channels in their cars, why don't you ask them since they know what the fuck they are doing? OR better yet, why don't you ask the judges how to do it and what they want to hear. . .

If I built a system to be loud and I went with 1 15" Icon on 1k I would be disappointed.

Just dishin it back. Numerous years of getting told by the smart guys with attitude that they are rude, mean, and critical for a reason. They aren't here to be nice, they are here to keep people from misleading members. So the straw that broke this camels back was when I got to be the smart asshole that said something was wrong. Suddenly my rep dropped and dropped. Yup, I am crying, whining, complaining, sayin a bunch of you are hypocrites and a bunch of you bend the rules to suit you and make you look good and then flip them when you need them to work the other way. Basically, so many tards, like the last few posters, that make some people not really give a shit... so strait up fun time. Just havin some fun.
