Well, it is here and I'd say it was WELL worth the wait. Had a tiny scare just looking at the box because it had a slight lean to it. But it was in the very best condition that I have ever seen a UPS box delivered. I can honestly say that I have never been more impressed by the craftsmanship of a single sub than I am with this one. This thing is a monster at 60lbs and is only a 12. I have an amp to put on it but by judging by the stiffness of it, lol, I dont know how it's going to be able to move this thing. They excel in vented enclosures, sealed yields good response and output, vented makes it better.

If you aren't trying to pinch pennies and want dead on specs google Redrock Acoustics. Patrick can give you full small and large t/s parameters with BL, THD, thermal, inductance, and a few more graphs off the top of my head for around 125 bucks.

Yeah I know. Until now, all I have ever seen were stock pictures on the website. Now people can actually appreciate what it looks like.

Or you could try the vynyl wraps or some carbon fiber wrapping, I see some car interior pieces turn out nice from this.

If you try it, I would use SEM dye (it comes in a rattlecan).

Pics of them in use, first two cars pretty much killed the competition and the last is mine, which can do 151+ on the dash with only 3500w... At one point I tested what a single 8" flare does and it gained 1.8dB. Just one, on the outside. And it's not the only case of a solid gain just by flares. They work You can find a testemonial here: Seems like UpGradde reported similar gains to what I've seen.

The 10k has been fixed, tested, and shipped out today.

Played hookie today and got a little more work done. Baffles and port finally finished. still need secured and dressed up. Took a little to work on my wiring some more today also. Found a good spot for my volt meter. calibrated it and installed that, put the dash back together, and did my RCAs. Say hello to my little port!!!!

I had a long reply typed out but an internal server error prevented that from happening, so, in short... We are just as in the dark as you are in this, talking to Denso is like trying to have a conversation with a porcupine, you can talk all you want, but you aint gonna get anything out of him.. We have 4 pallets inbound that were supposed to be here on the 13th, following past protocol if they aren't here now, then they will be here by Nov 13th which means at some point in the next 3 weeks they will be here. I don't like it any more than you do, but that's just how the big OEM's work. The million dollars we spend with them is like you trying to buy a single penny candy when all the other customers are buying Ferrari's, it's nothing to them when their big customers spend multi-billions of dollars. They will fill our order within a set time frame, when it suits them. Unfortunately, it's just how it works sometimes. Normally, they run like clockwork but this is the first big shipment of this part number from them to us and obviously it's taken them a bit longer to fill.. Just be glad your not waiting for product we have coming from Europe, we made that order Jan 10th, still dont have a confirmed shipping date, and have not had a single phone call or email returned since June.. Trust me, I feel your pain!
