  1. So guy comes on internet, posts items for sale. I ask for features and reasons why I should be interested in those items and its disrespectful? The mess that followed the lack of answers isn't my doing. My question is really very simple. What about the amplifiers makes them something I or someone else on the board would want to own.

I've probably said it fifty times by now, but man everything you do is so clean.
  4. Far from nothing, but if you fail to see that then that can be your personal opinion. Then what are the differentiators?

    http://www.cabletiesandmore.com/ExpandableSleeving.php I read that. Although I missed the 1 3/4" sleeve, but I still think that's too small. http://www.cabletiesandmore.com/american/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=69_70_72&products_id=263 Back ontopic...looks good!
  6. Yes why not port the two you have? Eficiency = win
  7. Our goal is nothing more than to not allow the members of this forum to be mislead by inaccurate information and statements, and to correct that misinformation (misinformation potentially given unintentionally). I find it hard to believe someone could rationally take issue with this. In summary: No, you don't really have anything other than a subjective opinion. Not if you understand the actual performance differences between poorly performing asphalt CLD, and CLD actually designed with proper materials for deadening.....assuming actual deadening is the goal. It would be ignorant to use a product that performs poorly at deadening as a sound deadener, and to recommend it for such usage. Here is a quote from Don in the Why Not Asphalt? thread, that I think sums up your side of this discussion quite accurately, as well as the problem with the reasoning you propose for suggesting why FatMat is a useful deadening material; That doesn't make everyone's opinion right or accurate. For example; I can be of the opinion the Earth is the center of the solar system because that's the way it appears when I look up at the sky. It's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it, right?
  8. Have you ever used this product to back up your claim? I disagree. I did the entire interior of my truck in Fatmat and it's worked great for me. You can check out the pics in my build log. http://forum.realmof...-build-log.html I used heat on a lot of areas to get it to lay down the way I wanted it to (my wifes blowdryer lol). As I said before it's worked great for me and in the 100+ degree weather of GA none of it has even began to peel. Oh and I have absolutely no smell either. Considering the inferiority and problems with asphalt based deadeners is well documented, why don't you back up your claim with something more than a subjective "it works great for me" and "it hasn't fallen off yet". (And FYI, simply "not falling off yet" isn't of significant consequence, especially if you understand how asphalt breaks down and becomes even more ineffective over time and exposed to heat).
  9. ahh, we already do
  10. Far from nothing, but if you fail to see that then that can be your personal opinion. There are many reasons people choose to buy a brand - Customer Service, Brand Loyalty, Great Product, etc. We have many customers very happy with their VVX subs that have been requesting for a long time now that they have matching amplifiers to go with. So now, they will have the option of running SKAR Class D amplifiers.
  11. So the answer was nothing. Makes sense I suppose. Why would people choose to buy your version of this amp then?
  12. These amps definitely appear to be ZED designed. The boards are strikingly similar to some BOSS amps. I do not like all the jumpers, typical of low budget board design. The big difference between Aura amps and BOSS amps is that Aura actually makes rated power, so I have heard. I am curious if there is a ZED marking somewhere on the board. These look like decent amps. Clean chassis without wasteful add-on. Fuse ratings are on par with output. On the RPM2300 it has 2x40 amp fuses on a 450 wrms output rating. I would expect that in a side by side comparison with a more expensive amp with similar power ratings that there will be no audio difference. I do not have the means to collect amps just for shits and giggles. But if I did I would definitely scoop up a handful of these. I would probably never use them in an install. I like my high efficient small footprint amps.
  13. You would not be able to wire down to .66 you're options are 1.34, 3 or a 12 ohm load. Whomever told you you would reach .66 was wrong. I was only able to get down to .66 with dual 2's and 6 of them.
