First thing first, front doors. Thankfully VW made the inner door skin removable. Not easily removable though. We went with minimal deadening, to keep weight down: OEM deadening: Deadened: Some Vibraflex to connect the door beam to the door skin: Door panel has plenty of room, just needs some dremel love to fit the SLS 8 The window rails were in the way, so we moved the rivets holding the window rail to the inner door skin and with the help of an angle grinder and a hammer made room for the magnet: Tight fit, but it fits ! The holes above the rings were deadened on both doors, I forgot to take pics of both doors finished MDF and plywood rings installed and resined: The fuel tank and trunk open buttons had to be removed to have good clearance for excursion. The white stuff is toothpaste, works like a charm to check if the door panel touches the speaker anywhere

Really the price per watt of these held me back for a while (that and the Crown 6K that I picked up last year), but I've gotta say, since these came out I've spent more in repairs and blowing up crappy chinese and Korean amps than these ended up costing me. I have still to do more testing, but initial impressions are "run don't walk!" and get you some of these. If you're wanting 1000W range they're worth the extra cost for the crossover and EQ options, and if you want more power, they're worth the reliability. I haven't had a far East built amp >1200W last me more than 6 or 7 months yet.

Thanks for the comments Onto the amp install. The idea here was to get rid of the wide spare tire, use a narrow spare and install the amps under the floor in the trunk. 1/2" plywood to hold the amps: Clearance to the wheel well cover: Holes for wires: Carpeted: All the cables except power are ran through techflex where visible. Between 2 people we couldn't find a better solution. Everything in place: Wiring and front stage pics tomorrow

I don't get it. Icons are of a bunch of different websites that people usually just waste countless hours on. In our case, a giant ssa forum logo. There are no wasted hours here, it is all for a greater good that is bigger then all of us.

No, so when you say, "It was made very clear why JP was banned," that is another assumption, hence my foot in the mouth comment. So I was on facebook earlier seeing what all the degenerates were up to, and this little icon on the side said something about a group for my college, so I click this shit outta curiosity, and it has sections for selling shit, trading books, parties, etc. I figure I could list books, and shit I don't need. Then I get even more curious when I see the section for parties. Mind you this is a community college that primarily consists of old people & gnarly skanks. The xcons were on an audiopipe ap1500.1 in this video and it suprised the shit out of me at how loud and hard it hit. Funny less then the rms of one sub on two subs was impressive.

The popping noise wasn't a random pop it was bottoming out due to flaws in the box on one side. Ive been beating on them ever since the box has been fixed with no problems.
