  1. So the city pays for impounds and accident hooks? Here it's up to the owner. The city has a contract with four companies to tow, but the owner is responsible for all fees. IF they don't pay for impound, the vehicle goes to state auction after a period of 30 or so days depending on the reason for impound. Accidents are strictly the owner's responsibility and if they don't pay within a certain period, you file a lien. I love the auctions! We'd get dealers' cars who were locked up too long to get their shit out. I got my first 3 cars for exactly $6 each and they all included some very nice 12V electronics. It was pretty nice to be the only kid in high school rolling around with triple gold Daytons and a trunk full of noise.

  3. That thing is pretty
  4. Another package I am awaiting arrival for are my 8 4/0 to 1/0 reducers, as well as a 4 4/0 in, 4/0 out MECA styled fused D-Block.
  5. Sub's been shipped, but I start classes Monday. Build to continue next weekend.
  6. Wiring up the car-puter: Touchscreen installed for testing: Final install of the screen: A-pillars wrapped in fake suede: An aluminum or stainless steel ring is next, to conceal the mounting lip Wiring under the amp panel, along with the narrow spare: Everything up and running Sadly the time was very short and I could only get 15 minutes of listening of the system. SLS 8's on 200w each are beasts Next up is adding some sort of fan for cooling the amps and the car-puter and when the recone gets here, I will post up box build pictures. Thanks for the kind comments guys ! This install was a ton of work, even for 2 people
  7. Depends on the music you listen to. If you listen to primarily rock then I would go two of the high qts sealed. Two 12's sealed would give more output over a larger range than one 12 ported. But if all you listen to is rap, dub step, pop, etc then one ported would be the way to go. Just my opinion
  8. to SSA Colby! I love M45's!
  9. Julian is switching to SQ because he's come to the realization that he can't get loud You're one to talk O.o
  10. The depth of those eyes is unreal!
  11. I'm pretty happy with the color. Need to work on technique. I'll order the rest of the material after I see it outside in natural light...if I still like it.
  12. It's gonna use a 4 later flat wire coil (see coil thread) motor force should be in the neighborhood of 150-200. So it's a pretty beefy sub. Qtc will be around .5 give or take a little depending on the size. I designed it so that it will work well in both sealed and ported. All the alignments that I recommend will be bb4 ported alignments with a f3 in the low 30's or high 20's depending on the size. power rating should be around 1,250-1,500 rms but I'll wait for proper klippel power testing to release that. prices are still tentative but should be within 10 bucks give or take: 10" $313 12" $320 15'' $329 18" $346 As long as the T/S parameters come back as expected and I don't have to do any design change on the motor I'm expecting the first run for Christmas.
  13. No lie! It would be so pimp Sorry, not going to happen.
  14. Dashi is a base not a complete "sauce" For Udon I normally use: About 2 quarts Dashi ~2 tsp of salt (to taste, but that's about right) 3 Tbsp of dark soy 3 Tbsp of light (or Mushroom soy as I fucking love it) 2 Tbsp of sugar 2 Tbsp of Mirin Mirin is definitely required for any Japanese cooking and is one of the primary flavors in Cold Soba dipping sauce which is Dashi, Mirin, and more bonito flakes with a teeny bit of sugar and soy.
  15. I know this wasn't directed at me but I'll add my 2 cents. I have experimented with intermittent fasting with good results. My goal, like many others my size, is to lose fat and be of what I would call healthy strength. The initial reasoning for fasting is that I assume I am getting all the extra benefits that Stefan has mentioned, but in a addition for me it make diet adherence easier. If I wake up in the morning and know I'm not going to eat I go on with my day. I drink plenty of water because it is the only thing I can have. When I get to lunch I'm know I'm ready to eat, but it is actually much easier for me to pass by all the fast food joints and hit up the super market to think of something fresh, delicious and with plenty of protein (if I haven't planned already). Because I didn't waste a single minute with breakfast in the morning or snacks I have more time I can devote to lunch. I get to eat to my hearts content on healthy food and feel great (Did I mention that sometimes I have a brunch at this time? BEST meal ever). Afterward I spend the rest of my day not really worrying and I "graze" on a few healthy snacks. At dinner I eat with my girlfriend and repeat the process. When I was attempting an all day eating schedule I felt more need to plan out all the meals. I also felt like all I would do is snack all the time and never feel full no matter how delicious and healthy the "meal" was. Also, when I'm used to eating every three hours I get ravenous hunger pains. On my fasting diet I feel content after my one big meal. I don't get that on an all day schedule. Also, I am not eating extreme amounts of calories. Eating only 8 hours a day makes it easier to stay under my calorie limit, especially if I focus on healthy foods. For me I focus less on the food with the intermittent approach. That alone helps me tremendously. You only describe convenience, not health benefits.
  16. For being what they are they actually sound pretty good. They are not as harsh as many other ones out there. Especially for the price the mids are loud, have decent midbass and the tweeters are fairly smooth and not too harsh.
  17. lol.. then you get a notice, this violates our policy.. this is who complained- Sencheezy, lmao....
  18. I have nothing to hide.. Maybe i should take some pics of senchez and bury them in my build log for him to find...
