  1. I have paid for everything I have in my car by building systems for other people. I have made many great friends, learned tons of hard lessons, and in the end I have one of the gnarliest trunk setups in my area. It has taken me years to get this far, and if a Joe Schmo like myself can do it, you can too. Welcome and good luck.
  2. Please show us some pics of all these awesome installs and builds please. I am interested in seeing what kinda work you do.
  3. i dont think anyone is trying to hurt your feelings, but what your doing is kinda like showing up to the dallas cowboys office and telling them,..... " i watch football all the time, and my chick hates it and shes ready to leave me, because all i wear are jerseys and i talk about foot ball all the time,...... so im gonna need to be on the team.... i did play pewee football when i was child, and like i said i watch it all the time on tv/ youtube, i have alot of time invested in watching... so im gonna need you to put me on the payroll and give me a spot on the bench, and tell mike im going to be a starter" dude, you have to be doing somthing already to be picked up by a team, its just like football, how do scouts pick? 1 by seeing what they are doing..... what are your scores? 2 by watching them do what they do on the field, how much knowledge do you have,. 3 what can you do for them.............. well what can you do ? this is gonna be rude, dont be an asshole. do you really think your ready to be picked up by a team? do you think you have what it takes, do you think that you can offer the kind of exposure a company needs, do you have the knowledge to properly inform people of the product you run? is your install impressive? would you invest in your self? cause really thats what it comes down to, your an investment. cost over value, i get hot, because i get asked this by people all the time at car shows... they want product but they cant afforded it, and they have no fucking clue how to install it, or how to properly use it, they just feel as if they some how deserve it,. im going to stop now. i did not even want to reply to this topic, but it was eating at me,
  4. When searching for a Team/Sponsor, having proper punctuation and grammar skills may help. This will make you seem more intelligent, experienced, and older. Most sponsors usually look for these qualities.I certainly would. You should never write a presentation written like a Facebook comment, when promoting yourself. Keep up the hard work, learn from your mistakes, and never take constructive criticism as derogatory words. Let me ask you this, do you know how the components you use to produce 150 decibels actually work, on a fundamental level? How an amp receives/distributes current? Or even, what T/S Parameters mean? If you don’t already know these things, research them. Below are some equations that might help you: A) Passion – Direction = Wasted Energy B)Direction – Passion = Success Takes Far Longer, If Ever C)Passion + Direction = Goals Galore
  5. He has the holes cut and ports in. Us old heads don't slack like u young fellas. Lol You tell him Joe! I think they sleep too much and that is why they don't get much done.
  6. alright, so the amp is fixed and back on track. turns out half the outputs were loose on the board. vids are going to be up tomorrow night.
  7. New Email policy enacted this morning: One nasty, demanding or the like emails, and I refund money instantly. No soup for you. Fuckers.
  8. You will be better off with a slot port, or a much bigger aero port. If you used 6" aeros you would need a lot of them.
  9. Break out the mirror... wait, wrong powder?

If you only plan on getting one, buy the d2 and wire it to one ohm.

    I wouldn't bother with a T-Line.

I would say a 15" in a slot ported box would be louder. Now I dont have any experience with t-line enclosures, but based off cone area and how well these subs do in a ported box I think the 15" would be louder. As far as an amp suggestion, find one that meets both the subwoofers rating and one that fits your budget aswell!
  13. sending nude photos of yourself gets you no where as well. Tryed it all i did was becoming really good friends with DREW! (bassahaulic)
  14. She's worming away from a cum-shot.
  15. Never mind I just read it. That sucks man, I hope you get it!
  16. me too haha. im glad it wasnt something serious. i just talked to the guy i traded to get the amp and he is paying half of the cost to get it fixed
  17. Thats how I took it. Team member = Team pricing Maybe I am wrong. If you are about to lose a girl of 7yrs over car audio, getting better prices wont solve that. Might want to do some thinking on that one. Welcome and good luck!
  18. Congrats on the score.

1 15 would be right at home in 4-5ft3 net volume with a moderate amount of port area and tuned to work with your application and goals.

Why in the world would you put one 15 in 7cu box? I would do between 3.75 - 5 cubes
  21. 1 point
for 1-2225w I would suggest 6-7 cubes, for more than RMS I would suggest 5-6 cubes before displacement. Make sure you set your SSF appropriately, if not it will lead to softpart suicide.
  22. 1 point
This. Somewhere around 7 cubes would work well, you could even go a bit larger.

http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/index.php/product-information/zcon.html Scroll down and click on the "Enclosure Recommendations" tab. How much power are you running?
  24. There are a ton of compromises in car audio, welcome to one of the worst acoustical spaces possible. Really sad when that isn't realized and decisions are made based on misinformation and lack of knowledge.
  25. You don't have to make them as elaborately as I did. A few minutes with a jigsaw can produce baffles adequate for what you're needing. If you can build boxes you can do baffles easy, they have 5 less sides! lol
