Exactly, criminals will always have access to guns. Not what i was saying at all. I said gun laws at schools are dumb, because the unlawful do not care about laws anyway, and know that you would not be able to defend yourself. I carried my pistol at college, even though colleges make their own gun control laws and wasn't supposed to, but did because of scenarios as such. Did I say anything was wrong with the Zcons? No.... Some of guys assume way too much. So they took double rms? I put over 3k to a 600rms driver... Only reason they popped is I did a demo after my run and didn't turn my subsonic back up. That's besides the point. I simply said I hope they do better. Better than zcons? What was wrong with the zcons? Took 5k clamped on music. In all my abuse I only ever had 1 fail. And that was after my runs demoing the absolute piss out of them. My amps would usually overheat before the subs would let go. Id say 1 failure in a year with that much power and demos is a high success rate. I have rough specs but mark and Aaron will release them with other details when ready. I know ssa didn't really want pics leaked out yet but i think Mark could hear the excitement in my voice on the phone. So he told me to go ahead. This is not the exact production model but very close.

The bigger box will make you happier than a new amp. I had my btl 12" on a 1500 w amp. I tried a 3000 w amp with the same box. I was not satisfied with the output. I couldn't even notice the change. So I put back my 1500 w amp. And then build a new box : bigger, tuned a little higher, changed port direction, with a "kerfed effect". I love it. Sounds gooood and way louder. I went from 135.xx to 139.xx db.

XBL2 is an amazing beast sealed. I have some Brahma MKIIs ported in my GN, and I ported a pair in my HT as well. But honestly, when I went sealed they sounded so much better. I went a bit small in the HT, and I suggest you do the same. 18s? Honestly, I prefer sealed, and even better IB (I have kicked around IB with my Brahmas), so perhaps my opinion is biased; but as a former Adire dealer with several XBL2 drivers to play with, and having played with several others, I can lend a bit of personal insight.
